  • LANDMINE SQUAT HACK ❗️
    This will CHANGE your life and look im not exaggerating and I truly truly would say if I have but I spent a whole gym session figuring out how to help you set up your LANDMINE squats and I couldn’t find proper tips anywhere! I messed around a little and boom it came to me! Use a bench to ease the load and pressure. (If this tips been done before apologises in advanced I would credit the relevant creator 💙)

    How does the other side of the bar stay down ? My gym doesnt have a t post on the floor

      I put the barbell on another weight and somehow stick it on the surface of the weight.

      Just place the end of the bar that doesn't have the plate against a corner. Like between 2 walls.

      I usually drag the barbell to a corner and that has worked great for me

      Place a light footmat with a non-slip underside and position it so about 3 inches rest on the wall and the remaining portion on the floor. Place the unloaded free end of the bar on the crook between floor and wall, on the mat, load the other end and use. Place the bench as close to the weighted end as you can. The down end of the bar will never lift off during lifting unless you are swinging wildly or band the weighted end on the bench after you're done. It isn't fail safe, but it never malfunctioned at my place. Checkout other landmine exercises. They really are good

      A lot of dip press or squat stations have a insert piece made for this and chest press etc.

    That’s hillarious, I was doing this exercise in your “my new leg day” video last night and I gave this one up in the second set because my gyms equipment is broken for this 😂 now I’m seeing the solution the next day

    What if your feet slip? You'll have a bar slamming you in the shoulder and chest. I would face it like you normally would and raise the heels with a wedge or something.

      the smith machine is one of the busiest places in a gym so this is very useful for continuing a workout without having to wait

      forsure once you put some real weight on there. one or two plates for warm up or high rep would be the only use for this ghetto ass setup

      No the bar is placed inside a metal piece that keep it in place. It also rotates so you can adjust yourself. You have to pick the bar up to put it in and also pick the bar up to take it out.

      You can place it in a wall corner, or better yet, just do the hack squat machine or smith machine with your feet in front of you. This is so overly complicated 🤦🏻‍♀️

      Some gyms have a special landmine barbell. It only has one side where you can load, and the other side is grounded to the floor. It won't move.

      @@grace444xo not all gyms have those machines, that’s the purpose to educate and show people what other things they can do. Definitely less complicated if you can’t access the machines you probably have at your gym. 👀

    Hi, what changes compared to the normal squat? Another question, does it make a difference if you place the barbell on your shoulder? Left or right? doesn't one side work more than the other?

      Depending how your feet are alined it can target hard on the hamstrings or hard on the quads..

      It seems how she's positioned she hitting hamstrings..bring those ft more under u n it's crushing those quads.. if ur gym does not have a hack squat it's time 4 a new gym..

    Tbh that’s really bad for your back and that means your not using your core or legs ,just do a normal squat that will get your legs strong

      Not everyone has access to a Smith machine or the one in your gym may be occupied.
