"what does it feel like... _to lose_ ? " that line... was DELIVERED. The tone of his voice in this speech was just perfect it still catches me off guard. all I can say.
Caught me off guard and kinda scared me the first time especially with the look on his face. That face is still creepy to me.

When he said "to lose" it gave me chills! It was so eerily and perfectly delivered; the colour in his face, the look in his eyes, the tone of his voice, the music. His acting was superb!

+ mayor getting run over. She wasn't scared per say, more like surprised but look at her facial expression
I don't know if she is scared here but clearly, what really scared her is her own heart. Is the first time that they make this character vulnerable because she felt confused or maybe scared, anytime that she realized she cared for someone. She was sad when Enid left, she felt guilty for Eugene and at the end, she let herself being hugged for the first time. Not to mention that she was the one that embraced Enid and closed her eyes, maybe in relief.

I got chills from this scene! When he said "to lose", i got instant chills!
This scene made Tyler go fron the most white boy you can imagine, to being the character woth the most aura in the entire show
His face looks sad at the end. Part of me wonders if the monologue was forced out of him by the person who was controlling him.

Totally. Mr. Hyde took over, you could see the change clearly, not a mask but a tell in his face... there appeared to me to be a sadness in him with even a hint of tears when the Hyde let Tyler be back in control
I truly believe Hyde & Tyler are two separate people for sure
Well, the actor said that Tyler was always manipulating Wednesday, and him liking her was all an act. So part of what he did was of his own freewill, though Thornhill manipulated him.

I knew something was amiss when in an earlier episode it quickly showed tyler in a bathtub and goes under the water and yells... Seemed odd at the time haha

Maybe he was angry about how the Hyde part of him would take control. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde... Same person but Mr. Hyde was always trying to take over. Dr. Jekyll was so smart and shy but Mr. Hyde was this beast that wanted to destroy him so he could be in charge.
You know it's really quite interesting to go watch through the series knowing this happens and realising Tyler was always missing when someone died or how when the red paint came out of the sprinklers Wednesday was knocked into Tyler which triggered her vision of him trying to kill Eugene or how Tyler specifically yells out that the monster's in the Gates Mansion before transforming.

I thought it was smart for Tyler to wait until Wednesday was unable to do anything to hurt him like she tried to when Tyler was strapped in the chair before confessing everything to her.
The is so full on, but it’s the best scene ever!
I'm gonna be honest after watching this particular scene a few times I realized "oh💩 he actually teared up". Tyler doesn't want to be a "psychotic serial killing monster" he doesn't want to be manipulated, he just wants to be a normal kid, his confession to Wednesday was hard because he genuinely had feelings for her, his confession was the Hyde in him being manipulated by a pyscho. The real Tyler is oh-so nice
According to the actor, Tyler never had any romantic feelings for Wednesday. Maybe a smidge of respect, but he hated her and the rest of the outcasts because they did nothing to help his mother's condition.

Tyler's personality and Hyde personality may be two different entities like tyler said his mom has severe bipolar disorder hinting that two personality hunters also said there are two personalities
Idk maybe he was ordered, but even if he wasn't, we already know from Kinbotts therapy sessions that whenever they talk about his mom he "its like he turns into a different person." Maybe this different personality is the Hyde and it's been possibly gaining more control of Tyler ever so slowly and we've finally seen the "different person" that's been mentioned in those therapy sessions. We don't know much about Hyde's other than they seem to go crazy if not properly handled by a master as mentioned by Uncle Fester talking about the female Pianist Hyde. I think the Hyde is the intrusive evil thoughts that we all have sometimes but we're able to contain it, but Tyler no longer isn't able to contain it that easily, and that's why they depend on masters because without them they become pure evil and embrace all of those intrusive thoughts and become the monster. I don't think that was the real Tyler giving the speech for the record, his blinking was unnatural and he did show regret to Wednesday even managing to tear up a bit (people say that was for everyone else in the station to see him as a victim but he walks away looking normal so I do think the Hyde took over and like with Billy in stranger things the only humanity left in that speech were his eyes tearing up... so honestly we need this cleared up in season 2.
Somehow I suspect he and Wednesday will not be dating next season.

Are the writter’s of this show really expecting us to belive that Tyler’s feeling’s for Wednesday were fake , we soent the whole season shipping them toogether for it to be all fake , like what kind of dhit writting is that ?! , how in the actual fuck was their relationship fake , in episode 6 when Wednesday called him on the phone , he seemed genually happy that he was going to go out with her and their date scene was really cute and they way how he was looking at her was really real to me.
I know that Wednesday also has Xavier as a love interest but she doesnt have any single fucking chemistry with Xavier , Xavier is just like an NPC to me , Tyler on the other hand was really sweet to her and their date scene was really really cute , i know thaf he tried to kill her in the end but we dont know all the fact’s yet , for all we know he only tried to kill her cause he was trying to get over his feeling’s for her , and let’s not forget that Laurel torutered him and manipulated him by using his mom as an advantage so he could be loyal to her , im pretty sure that he can be redeemed for the next season , cause he diednt strike to me as evil at all , he clearly is just a broken/tragic character , his moment’s with hid dad were really deep to me.

Im not saying that him and Wednesday should get back toogether , but i do think that he should get a redemtion arc and then say goodbye to Wednesday and his dad in good term’s , cause after all that red headed bitch tourtered and manipulated him , if it wasnt for Laurel , Tyler would have never turned into a stupid fucking hyde.
I kniw that he said that he enjoyed the killing’s in episode 8 but we dont know if he really meant that , for all we know he was just angry that Wednesday torutered him in the beginning of the episode , he got so angry that he couldnt control himself anymmore.
He diesnt strike to me as an evil character , he’s clearly broken , he only wanted to know more about his mom , and that red haired bitch used his mom as way so he could be loyal to her.
And by the way i dont think that he hate’s Wednesday , i can agree that he used her and maybe manipulated her a bit but he only did that cause Laurel told him to , Tyler didnt have anytime to catch feeling’s for Wednesday cause he was to busy being loyal to that red demon.
He’s clearly a deep/tragic/complex character , not pure evil.
