i moved these 2 up in my list of sp's to do because a lot of people were requesting them so here you are! i think i have satisfied all of the major wednesday addams ships sooo yw :)

Tyler did love Wednesday (trying to help Wednesday escape Jericho,actually showing up at the rave’N and his confession). But he’s very insecure since he knew he is a Hyde. He constantly ask his dad about mom and if he ever loved her. And with Ms. Thornhill/Laurel’s manipulation,he doesn’t think anyone would love a monster. Then he met Wednesday, an outcast like him. Everything that happened before ep.8 makes him think that maybe Wednesday will accept his Hyde side. But Wednesday is determined to find the truth. So she tortured him (the tasers and stuff) to try to make him transform. JUST LIKE LAUREL. That’s when Tyler realised nobody can accept him. No one cares about how nice he can be as a human because he’s a serial killing monster (not by choice, a Hyde is forced to listen to it’s master) So he picked the only role he can choose. The villain. He pushed himself to say all those things in the police station to remind himself that he is the bad guy.

DUDE YOU MAKE SUCH A GOOD POINT! I was left so confused towards the finale because if Tyler was just playing Wednesday to get her trust and manipulate her, why did he do all that extra stuff? (Taking her on dates, going out with her, etc) He only had to gain her trust, not become her boyfriend! This really didn't make sense to me until now, thank you so much!
Exactly! I've had this perspective because I do think he's not a bad guy. But only one thing questions my perspective: him saying he enjoyed the screams, the kills, the blood.. he embraced himself as the bad guy, and I doubt Wednesday will be back with him if he stays that way. I hope he changes!

I shipped these two and really liked them together. They were really cute. It sucks that he turned out to be the monster. I didn't see it coming. There's no way that his feelings for Wednesday weren't genuine. I mean the whole time they were on their date, he couldn't stop looking at her. But he was pretending the whole time. 😥
Edit: My opinion has changed. I ship Tyler and Wednesday again. I think his feeling for her were real. 🤩

@@claire4215 Well, if he wasn't pretending and he really had feelings for Wednesday, when he turned into the Hyde, he would've stopped the killings but he didn't. He continued on killing. But at the same time, he was doing Thornhill's bidding and she was his master so he probably couldn't stop killing. But I don't know.

Wednesday tried to push him away with words but the fact that she LEANED-IN for the kiss says a whole different story 😩 she could've perfectly deadpan turn him down and be done with it, even in earlier episodes, but she didn't. She liked his company.

See I wanna say my perspectives:
Remember when tyler said in the beginning, that "Atleast one of us will get to leave this town" , this just says that he was regretful about his actions but he was like a bot being controlled, it was not in his hands, and then he said in the Rave'n that "I did many terrible thing but I am not really a terrible person" this too expresses his genuineness, and "I am tougher than you think" , all along the way he was giving SIGNS , and actually he was under control! I really don't know but i would be happy if #Wyler is genuine in S2.

also that freaking picnic date inside the crypt. He was genuinely laughing and smiling at her reaction NO ONE WILL CONVINCE ME THAT WAS FAKE.
Remember when they kissed? Who am I kidding, of course you do. When they break apart, you can see him processing things. Hesitating. - She really loves me, how do I feel? I don't want to hurt her. Gosh, she's pretty - and then he kisses her again. THAT was not him acting as henchmen; THAT was HIM - Tyler. He had decided they were unstoppable - for just that moment, he knew he loved her and would do anything for her.
ALSO (omg I've been waiting for this one), when they kissed and she like had her vision thing, he looked SO genuinely worried. I mean he was hyperventilating, he looked so concerned for her well-being.

6:15 I think this is the part that Wednesday started to catch feelings for Tyler. When he sits next to her, she seems rather... uneasy. Because she never had romantic feelings for anyone before, so she doesn't recognize why she feels like this when Tyler is close to her.
When they kiss, notice how Tyler let her come to him because he knew he had done everything he could for their relationship and at the end of the day Wednesday has to decide for herself to close the gap between them.
Note. This is what I think if his feelings were genuine 🤔

I refused to believe her vision was true about Tyler, and when it came to the torture scene I kept yelling at the screen for Wednesday to stop !!! I believed him when he said he was innocent !!! I feel the mixed signals scene was genuine. Why was he getting upset with Wednesday for choosing Xavier as her date? When he did Laurel's bidding to keep Wednesday busy, he was charming and sweet like the date in the crypt.

I agree. When Angel would become Angelous, he was heartless and cruel. He terrorized everyone Buffy loved. Despite the torture he inflicted upon her and her friends, eventually they forgave him. Even Spike got a redemption arc.
Damon, from the Vampire Diaries got his arc too. He was forgiven by everyone; he and Elena ended up together.
Tyler deserves his happy ending! Some people don't see it, but he was one of Laurel's first victims.
She shackeled him in that cave, tortured him, injected him with painful chemicals to unlock the Hyde. She didn't care how much she hurt him emotionally or physically as long as she gained control of the Hyde. Who wouldn't submit after being tortured like that? He deserves his arc. If Laurel is still alive, I hope he goes after her and she gets the pain she deserves.

I think they are still a good couple. Even after revealing himself and capturing her, they still flirted the entire time in their own weird threatening sociopathic way. I think Tyler genuinely liked Wednesday and always accepted her for who she is. He never got mad at her for being dismissive, sadistic, selfish or not returning his affections outwardly, he just went with it unlike Xavier. However, him being the hyde and his master hating her got between them. Tyler actually saved her life so any times and fought his urge to kill her in his hyde state on multiple occasions, plus killing any threats to her including Rowen and the homeless guy who threatened her in the old meeting house ruin. He only attacked her when he was ordered to but had several opportunities to do it. He got more and more unstable the more he turned into the hyde and was manipulated by Laurel, which is why it turned into a competitive winner/loser conversation at the police station. She was pissed she was tricked be because of her competitive nature vs the fact she hurt Xavier. I don’t think Wednesday was ever freaked out by him saying his victims’ fear was delicious because freaking people out is something she takes pleasure in herself, plus she doesn’t really mind potentially killing people if it serves her purpose like with the swimmers and the piranhas. She was really more fascinated by the hyde than scared of it and wanted to catch it to figure out the puzzle vs justice, and only really became mad after it hurt Eugene. She is protective over people she tolerates like her brother and friends and was getting even. Xavier is a good guy with a moral compass. He got mad when Wednesday was with Tyler and couldn’t understand that she honestly didn’t care about his mean prank. Wednesday was impressed by Tyler’s prank on Xavier vs judgmental because it was mean, and he was impressed by her piranha stunt vs being horrified. They are much more on the same creepy, sadistic wavelength than her and Xavier. Tyler liked her the way she was and never judged her for not caring as much. Xavier will be the one to change her to be a bit more moral, nice, and socially acceptable, but in her original state she was much more like Tyler. Now that Laurel is out of the way and no longer controlling him, maybe there is hope for them?
I believe he truly loved her, he was just being controlled by Laurel,just because he was being controlled didn’t mean he wanted to do what he was being manipulated into doing.
I like to imagine Wednesday creatively destroying him for manipulating her like that. But also, she might like, admire his execution since he really did fool her.

Everything regarding Tyler's feelings or motives are still up for interpretation. They're both obviously hurt by his betrayal but are we really overlooking the Hyde as a creature?? I believe Tyler couldn't really control the Hyde as he never was acknowledged even by his father that he was an outcast too, be around his kind to help him understand himself better, or Laurel manipulated him enough to make him believe he was made to be evil or some sh*t. His mother most of all is still mystery. So idk what role Tyler will play in season 2 but CLEARLY the writers implied that he escaped. He'll either get hunted or something but all I want is for him and Wednesday to make up please🥲💔

My theory is Thronhill was there while they were there and made Tyler hurt himself because everything was gone so quickly. She had to have been there and She probably forced him to turn into the Hyde at the mansion.

So many unanswered questions. My top ones I’d like to be answered in S2:
1. Why did Xavier have so many visions about Tyler as Hyde? Wednesday even observed it’s like they had a supernatural connection. (How inconvenient Xavier never had a dream about specifically Tyler)
2. Can Tyler control his choices in Hyde mode? And can he turn into Hyde when he wants to? He seemed to make the choice to protect Wednesday from being killed by Rowan and not to kill her after she saw him multiple times as Hyde. Or was Laurel controlling him at most points?
I loved the writing and pace of this season so much! I’m so excited for the future seasons!

Hunter said that Tyler did not know that Wednesday is a key when they first met, but I'd go further and say that he had no idea about Goody/Crackstone/Addams thing in entire first episode.
Because he really wanted to help her escape the town and he would do it, if Rowan did not ruin everything. It's the exact opposite of Laurel's wish and whole plan, if he knew the truth about Wednesday back then, he wouldn't help her at all. Instead he would try his best to stop her and warn his master, but in the end they almost succeeded in escaping. So I think he did not know anything about the red moon and Crackstone's resurrection in the beginning.

@@Nikolai12 I hope some details of season 1 are gonna be told. Not just going further without the proper end. Maybe it's going to be a conversation between Wednesday and Tyler. He would answer to her questions. Tell her when he EXACTLY turned into monster, what was lie and truth, and the most important thing is what happened to Tyler's mother and is she dead or alive. Sheriff Galpin could false the documents even if she did not die. He had enough power for it. In my dreams Wednesday helps him to find out the truth about everything about her.

When Xavier started to see dreams about Hyde? Why he did not try to know who is the monster? He used to draw him in the end of episode 3, but did not believe Wednesday first 3 episodes.

Only 2 people could be monster: Tyler and Xavier. If the last one is not a killer, the answer is the first one is, but Xavier has no idea about it. Why Xavier sees Hyde, but not Jekill like Wednesday?

ok I've ship these to from the beginning, even when I suspected he was the Hyde bc for me it was only between him n Xavier. but Weyler just are so cute and have much better chemistry. they have to give Tyler a redemtion or make Wednesday fall in love with him again. like you can't look at this and tell me she doesn't love him, it's a huge step for Wednesday. and 4 Tyler I feel like when he praised her dress and watched her dance or when he laughs at her when watching Legally Blonde, he is being genuine.

I personally feel Xavier was annoying and unnecessary as a character. It's harsh of me to say this, i know. But i agree with you about Tyler. I hope we see in the next season how Tyler can slowly come out of his darkness, because I don't believe that all the intimate moments he had with Wednesday were 100% pretending. I refuse to believe that. After all, he was controlled and manipulated.
These two had a good thing going, and to be completely frank yeah we all know Tyler is the Hyde but he's really nice, it's not his fault he was manipulated by "Thornhill"
