I frequently voice the sentiments of Northside and Lee Gunner about Arsenal and I constantly get vilified and shut down for being negative and Anti-Arsenal but when everything I predicted and warned against comes to pass, those fans calling me negative are now saying what I was saying how many months, years ago... I never wanted Arteta in the first place because I knew he would struggle or he would take almost a decade to figure out how to get this team doing anything.... 4yrs in and we're already going backwards again making fresh mistakes, repeated mistakes and failing to react to situations which would have been avoided with experience..... I said it in 2013 and I will say it again: "Arsenal were FOOLISH to overlook Jürgen Klopp in favour of retaining Arsene Wenger!" But fans love Arteta more than seeing Arsenal Football Club win the big trophies....

As a City fan, I find these Arsenal convos fascinating given what seems to be a split in the fanbase about Arteta and this panel is a good mix of both perspectives. I also very much appreciated having Kenny's perspective in the convo as he is a seasoned vet of the Arsenal.

I side with Northside more than bhavs and egal who just say positive stuff for followers. We have now conceded more goals and scored less when signing Havertz and Raya. NO COINCIDENCE. We could of bought Buno G, Isak, Maddison, kudus, Douglas luiz etc for responsible money but wasted a lot on mid players like Tavares, Havertz, Raya, Fabio etc. Most importantly we were ALL upset with wenger for getting top 4 and fa cups but with Arteta its now acceptable when he only won 1 fa cup??? That season auba had gone 4 discipline we was so down bad laca was gettin praise just 4 holding up the ball I think he scored 2 goals in last 17 games most arsenal fans wanted to get rid of laca at that point and get something fresh. Nketia comes in towards the end of the season scores a few goals. At the end of that season n Metis and laca contracts coming to an end. Like I said lacas form was so bad that the club renewed nketia contracts as they felt he had more resell value. The squad still had holes so gettin rid of both 4 free made no sense.We was linked with Darwin Nunez and vlahovic and isak we got Jesus and n e 1 sayin we should of got isak back then they talking out of hindsight because isak ended that season with 9 goals and people were saying he not prolific enough Darwin looked good back then but we see wat he is now. He’s better than Eddie but to spend £80m just to b better than eddie is crazy. Now the last window gone. I don’t feel safe wit raya he does 2 things better than ramsdale his short passing and coming 4 crosses and even that he ain’t brilliant at coz I seen him get lobbed twice. My expectations this season just to consolidate what we did last year with winning a cup and I’m pissed we out of both coz this team needs to taste silverware soon. 2nd and 3rd is the bare minimum and I wouldn’t be against the people calling 4 him to go. It's no surprise that Arsenal wanted to sign Ivan Toney last summer but because of his ban for betting they couldn't go through with it now they're willing to wait until the next summer of 2024 to bring him in.
