How many times has the goal post been shifted ? I thought Arteta would never get us top 4? I thought he would never challenge for the league? I thought he would never take Pep to the final day of the season? A few seasons ago they said his record against the Top 6 wasn't good.
Last season they said he will NEVER beat Pep in a game in the league. Then when he does they criticize how he does it. They said this ownership will never spend money and then they did, then toxic fans said the club only care about top 4 and won't spend to get us competing for titles and now that they are doing that Northside complains about the amount of money the club is spending when his initial criticism was that they didn't care enough to spend it.
He says the manager should be sacked because he hasn't yet won the titles that he never believed he would compete for in the first place and criticizes the signings we make that have been the ones to elevate us....lol.

It actually makes perfect sense. We underspent for years and targeted the wrong profiles constantly. So... if you have an average squad, like we had when Arteta joined, the money spend on the squad since was to "catch-up" JUST to be in the position we are today. That seems fair and accurate to me.
