Nice video Sir, Informative and entertaining. I was hoping to see a close up of the nozzles included and to see if it could do hot air soldering but thoroughly enjoyed watching anyway.

I did do a bit more research and it turns out that it isnt really any good as a hot air solderer for reflowing and that's because of the strong flame, as you mentioned.

Hi Lutonian, thanks for your comment, I’ve soldered a little bit and find it very clumsy for delicate work, perhaps if I had a finer solder head I would change my mind, or maybe if I needed it for heavy soldering on larger points, the flame is excellent and I use that for cable heat shrink etc

I got the LIDL version of this and it was total crap.... Aldi one looks more promising
it's OK, to be honest i don't think i will use it a lot for doing much soldering, i find it too clumsy for doing fine work, i'll probably use it more for heat shrink or similar things
