Flight 356 still wake up with the mind set of be better tomorrow. You and sarg sanders really made a difference in mine and the other AMN lives we all still stay in touch and we still talk about that time you caught us all awake lol. Hey Sergeant Santos. I was part of your first covid flight (FLT 301, we had the 40 year old real estate agent Dorm Chief), that transferred from the 321st TRS to the 320th TRS around late March 2020, under Sgt Simpson and yourself. I was the only VM member of my flight and I ran into Sgt Tanner at Port Hueneme and said hi for you , he said hey too.
I only did VM for a year before getting accepted to the Air Force Academy, hope your doing well.

My father and brother worked in the funeral business. I tried it and couldn't stand it. Same with being a TI. I didn't join the USAF to boss around a bunch of scared teenagers. Glad someone else does this.

Funny as in the 1970's, just handful and mostly from Texas families came to graduation. Families did not travel much at all for their sons and daughters back then. I guess cause most dads were vets themselves and saw it as no big deal.
Sergeant, Airman mutton reports as ordered 😂 why do you not like trainees to talk to each other? Is it in the training or is it in the afi?
I went through BMT back in 03. I separated over ten years ago. The other day my buddy, and I were talking about basic, and things we would do different if we got to do our time over. My friend mentioned the trainees get a timeout stress card. Do they get a time out card? It’s been something I wondered about. Personally, I don’t have an issue with it - just wondering. I enjoy your videos and the knowledge/insight you give on bmt. Thanks for making these.🙏
Always remembered my time in BMT as well.. and no, no time out cards at all. Nothing close lol but glad you enjoy them brotha!

Side note: I have a similar uniform and noticed that it is different than the other OCPs so I am a bit weary in wearing them… have you received any flack from other MTIs or your leadership? Not trying to call you out, just wanna wear them as well lol

How does one become an MTI? Im a ssgt and havent had much luck finding many resources

Do they allow trainees to do push ups for example; 1 palm down 1 fist down or to be able to perform the reps on your fist sometimes?

Is being a MTI to difficult for a single parent?
I know a bunch that made it work.. it’s difficult for anyone but managing your schedule and prioritizing is key for any parent
Interesting to see the process from an MTI POV. Lots of screaming and push ups early on when I went through back in July of 2005 lol.

Hello! 2 quick questions:
- Can I wear my contact lenses until I’m issued glasses at BMT? (My current glasses does not fit my face at all, especially with mask it’ll be such an inconvenience. I’d prefer not to bring it at all?)
- Can I wear my contacts lenses for graduation photos?
Bring your glasses.. if they don’t fit, you can wear your contact lenses (making sure you use proper hygiene with them) until you get your issued glasses.
And no. You may remove your glasses for the picture
