Jack and his lovely subscribers: PLEASE add this book to your TBR: ‘Some Strange Music Draws Me In’ by Griffin Hansbury. It is a severely underrated book (only 340 reads on good reads) and is a beautiful coming-of-age story about a trans man named Max. The story jumps in between 1984 pre-transition and 2019 post transition. I finished the book over a month ago and I still think about it every day. It really deserves a lot more attention and appreciation than it currently has! Especially during a time with so much anti-trans hate that is happening. 💕💕💕

To attatch a patch you often iron it on (it has a layer of glue on the back which activates by heat) or you sew with a needle and a thread. Do both if you want dubble security it is going to last.
New Claudia Piniero? How exciting, in Greece we also have an editor specializing in literature in spanish and luckily we have three Pinieiro books translated that I read thanks to your recommendations ❤❤❤❤❤
Candy Kittens are so good! I used to get them in a vegan snack box I was subscribed to but unfortunately I haven't been able to find them anywhere else in my country.
I love your books, Jack! I've picked up a few recommendations from your videos, the most recently read was Almond. I'm not sure it was something I'd have picked up on my own but I really enjoyed it!
The Miseducation of Cameron Post is an incredible movie! And an adaptation of a book! I'd recommend you watch it for sure. I met Desiree Akhavan at a Q&A event for the film, really excited to read her book.
I just read JAMES and Queen Macbeth, and I'm SHOOK. Those books affected me physically Can't thank you enough for the recommendation. Where have you been hiding all my life!!! 😊
my heart always jumps a little when i see you holding french speaking authors' books !! Joel Dicker and Virgine Despentes (pronounces deh-pant ;) are such good writers, i always wonder how they translate in any other language
I agree Joel Dicker and Virginie Despentes are great writers. It's nice to see that their books are translated and available for more people to read them 😊
Given that Jack spent like a year in France, his bad pronunciation of French names kind of surprises me. And nothing comes close to the original French title "Cher connard", it's just perfection! However, translations of literary works are often so well done. I really admire translators 😊
Jack I love all you book recommendations ! Can you please recommend a book that’s light hearted but that’s well written ?😅 I’ve been feeling down lately and want something to cheer me up just finished Martyr and want something that’s the opposite of that :) thank you

Ive read three books by Virginie Despentes, in the French originals, I hated two and loved the other that I have no idea if I can read another of her books but when I watch anglophones talk about her books they sound so interesting haha. I’ll be interested to see what you think of Cher Connard.
Hi Jack, I work as a bookseller in Swiss. Joelle Dicker is one of the most popular french speaking swiss author of our current time. However, I find his books to feel like an equivalent of romance books for 60 year olds. I'd be very interested in your oppiniony 😂😢
Book shopping yesterday found an interesting book called Brother Alive by Zain Khalid . I haven't seen any reviews as yet ? Debut novel Finalist for NBCC John Leonard prize New York.
I recommend you read All Yours before the new book you just received by Claudia Piñeiro because it is a sequel. Also, you must read Cathedrals, my favorite book of hers ❤

To attatch a patch you often iron it on (it has a layer of glue on the back which activates by heat) or you sew with a needle and a thread. Do both if you want dubble security it is going to last.
But when ironing it, make sure you must a handkerchief or something similar in between the patch and the iron, prevents it getting too hot
That Charco Press bag is so beautiful!
