Man...this is SICK! You've gone so far down the rabbit hole with control. You HAVE to make more kits and expand this platform. I've spent way too much on the EZ Drummer platform, in effort to augment me e-drum set up....wish I knew about your stuff sooner.
I was really impressed with my mix wave kit, but this is honestly tenfold better then anything on the market. You really do get more for less with your plugin man. So much potential. Would you ever consider a update where you can log and library your own samples?
Thanks for saying that! Yes, in fact I was developing a new product with the ability to add your own samples... it's definitely on the list of features I want to incorporate!
The flaw in some of these vsts is the rimshot. Unfortunately e drums just don’t function like real drums. There should be an option (like there is in perfect drums and SD3) so that the rimshot automatically triggers at a certain velocity. Say 100. Not everyone is playing a 8000.00 Roland v kit and even still when I had one. Rim shots didn’t translate well. I’d much rather adjust the sensitivity in the module so the rimshot triggers at a desired velocity. SSD5 also has this feature automatically as well.
Dude, this is rivaling even Roland's sounds! Crazy good work with this whole project. I see you have multiple different drum kit presets, but I was just wondering; is there a way to make custom user kits using samples from different presets?
Thank you! Yes, you can make any possible combination of drums and cymbals you want from any of the presets. There are actually over 60 drums/cymbals to choose from, including 14 different snare drums. So you can customize it quite a bit!
Which Roland module and kit or cymbals are you using? If you have a Roland controller on your hi hat stand you should be able to learn CC with it by operating the pedal.
@@RobotDogStudio I’m using the TD25KV and TD-25 module. When I go to try and learn CC there is no level indicator that it is picking anything up like in this video. Thank you!
@@DMAUL I hate to throw it back on you, but maybe your hi hat controller isn't hooked up or configured properly in the module? Roland default is CC 4, it's should just work on that module. Does it work fine with the built in roland sounds? Maybe it's not getting into the computer somehow. Also make sure Kontakt is set to Midi Ch. "Omni" or 10
@@RobotDogStudio thank you! It does work fine with the Roland sounds. Really wish I could figure this out! What about the fact the chokes don't work either? Also works with the Roland module

Super helpful setup guide. Thank you!
No problem!
These are incredible! Gonna buy asap

Mindblowing realism
It’s really fun to play! Addictive
Hi! Looking to get this plugin but what drum kit is the one you're playing there?
Cool! It’s a custom kit I made with Roland pads and an EDRUMin 10 interface www.audiofront.net/eDRUMin.php

RDD has this feature in the snare section of the setup page! Select “hardest hits play as rimshots”
@@RobotDogStudio well then you guys really did think of everything. Bravo!!!!

I have a Roland kit and can't figure out how to get cymbal chokes to work. Also is there any way to learn CC when I am using a real hi hat stand?
