Just want to preface by saying I've been an owner of the plugin for a few months and I have to say I love the samples! Covers almost every base I need when it comes to my mixes. However, while I understand the more "original" approach of only having starter grooves and forcing yourself to be more creative when programming drums, I would love to see a MIDI player implemented into the plugin at some point. As a guitarist (not a drummer), just looking to pump out some quick riffs on social platforms every now and then, I often don't have the time or knowledge (especially when it comes to fills) necessary to program drums as I would do in a full mix/studio session environment. I'm usually just looking to throw some ideas together, find some MIDI that somewhat fits, and tweak as necessary. Just some food for thought. Thanks Ryan!
Thank you! This is a really nice note and I really take it to heart! I definitely want to do my take on real comprehensive drum grooves... it's in the works 😁
Just bought it...!...Best purchase of the year...!...Please add ride cymbal "Bell" sound at some point...!...That's my only criticism...!...Amazing...Great plugin...!...Congratulations...!!!
I would love to see you farm out your raw samples into other platforms like Alesis Strike, Beat Buddy, Maschine + or AKAI MPC (Live, X etc). Maybe each kit could be in raw/unprocessed and another version with the default. I also LOVE that you included chain off on the snare. Have you thought about a mallets kit? Dowels or bundles or whatever you call it?
All great ideas! I would love to do brushes, mallets, rods, etc... being a one-person team I work a little slower than the big developers. But hopefully I will get some new kits with fun new features released in the near future!
Big ask... but is there any way I could get a week trial? Been looking at this for months now and I think it's the library I want. I just want to have a play before I purchase because I can tell my wife how good it sounds so I can justify my purchase 😂😂 I'm 100% buying this though. Those drums slap hard.
How’s the hi hat sound going from tightly closed to crescendoing to an open slosh? I’ve found that’s been the hardest part about samples cymbals. Im terrified Im going to have to replace all the drums I just recorded because these sound so good!
Thanks! Folks are saying the hi-hat is the best yet out of any plugin! I took a lot of care to get it just right and there are 5 awesome hi-hats to choose from.
How many velocity layers and round robins per layer? Waiting for this answer to purchase or not. This info should be mandatory in product specification pages. Also: Does it support Hi-Hat "open-ess" MIDI cc control?
There are between 8-12 velocity levels per articulation (there are separate articulations for snare center and rimshot for example) and 5 round robins for all samples. Hi hat openness is controllable by midi CC. There are also separate hi hat tip and edge articulations you can access as well as 5 different positional zones on snare from center to edge and snare off sounds for all snares. Hope that helps! Thanks
Could be a couple things… you need to set your output configuration before even loading RDD in Kontakt. i.e.: 16x stereo. And different DAWs have different quirks to getting multi outs to work. I have video guides for Logic X and ProTools on here, but I’ve also gotten it working in Cubase and Reaper but I haven’t made videos yet. Which DAW are you using?
I think this the first drum plugin I have where I didn't feel the need to route the drums out at all. Great out of the box, awesome product 👌
Thank you! That was always the goal-you can get right to playing, writing, whatever... and not have to grind away mixing drums for two hours haha
Just bought it, sounds incredible right out the box! Can't wait to start messing around with it
Love that! Thanks for sharing!

Amazing!! Thanks so much for the feedback! Pretty sure there are ride bell sounds in there haha but we may be thinking of something different 😄
Just picked it up! So pumped to start using it.
Woo hoo!! Thanks so much!

Dude this is insane. Hoping to buy real soon
Finally purchased. Thanks for putting it on sale!

On sale for Black Friday right now! 😉
Sounds pretty cool!!
Thanks!!
Would love to a video on live drums and then using Robot drums samples to replace live stuff. Sounds great though.
Thanks a lot! I will put something together on that subject!
Same. Would love to be able to access the samples to use in something like trigger. That would be siiiick
@@AhrenField I've had a few request for trigger files! I'm going to look into it.

Oops I found it at 17:00

@@RobotDogStudio that's great! THANK YOU!
When I click the output in the mixer, all I have is "st. 1" and I can't get the option to send them to different channels. Any idea why?
