- Another day and another game comes to be judged thusly by the Royal Court. Once Human is an online survival game with hints of MMORPG styles. It's Free to play and because of that we know we're not wasting precious coin. But are we wasting precious time? Well let's find out together!

Good Game, but I will say, a huge CON is wipes every 6 weeks. If you start at week 3+ its almost not even worth playing. Because youll invest 20h+ just to have it wiped shortly after.
Yeah I forgot to mention that in my video and feel really bad about it. The six week wipes is another really dumb decision they decided to make for some reason

Im able to play with my friends on different servers just fine! Just add them, group them, and switch to their layer!

There's certain things incorrect. Yes it is a major problem you cannot delete your character from a server. But you can start another character on a different server. I don't care if you can only have one character on a server as long as it can be deleted. If you want to start over. But you can after over on a different server.
Next incorrect is the character models. This is just delusional feedback. What we get in this game is a blessing. Not to mention the only game I have ever played with weight gain/loss. It's amazing. I quit Ark after playing a few weeks because of the character creation being so unbelievably bad. Otherwise, I'd still be playing Ark. This game has gone above and beyond with great character models.
Last is a major problem not mentioned. Which is server wipe every 6wks which completely undermines the game. I intend to continue playing and see where this goes. But it is not looking good. You lose everything at the end of the season.
I don't know how in the world you find all these games. Always love to see what you find. Thanks!

Litterally fixed the character and server issue in an hour. And also being left to figure things out is the fun parts of game. People like having their hand held way to often in games now of days. Its actually fun to learn things and earn things on your own. The game is amazing. Yes there are minor sound and graphic issues with this game but it is truly an amazing game
TBF I didn't say it was a terrible game. In fact I believe I said something along the lines of "This game has an amazing foundation and could end up being something incredible".
But that character server thing was awful. It wasn't a bug. It was a designer decision which they fixed after people complained en mass about it. Which I pinned a comment stating it was fixed and added CC on my video explaining it's been fixed. But I still don't like the 6 week wipes mechanic and hope that's changed eventually as well. I understand and appreciate your passion.

I'm playing with my gf just fine... we both just jumped in the same server yesterday when it launched. But if she would of waited then it might of been a issue
Which was the problem. But luckily they listened to the feedback and fixed that dumb decision :)
It did allow me to make a new character on a different server because i didnt like the look of my first character, but it wont let me reuse my name or delete the character that i dont want to get my name back 😢

@miah_the_king I just learned I can create a mirror in my base to edit the look of my character. So now I can use my main name again. I made my guy character's hips to big..... and those hips did lie..... 🤣

1. Controller support?
2. Heard some people say this is downloading Spyware and crypto along with the game. But no one has shown me anything concrete. Can you look over the files? And your start up resource usage for anything suspicious?
3. Have you seen any PTW OR Pay for advantage stuff yet?
You really can even conceive that steam would allow a game that does such a thing and not nuke it within a few hours?

played it for 6 hours and it's kinda meh...despite the trailers it has no personality, everything looks very generic, shooting doesn't feel satysfying and most importantly I got extremely bored. I thought it'd become better and better but it's the same boring tasks and boring items on and on
Did you play alone or with friends? Cuz I feel like that'd make a big difference in a game like this.
@@miah_the_king yeah, I played alone. It's weird in that there are geniunly cool things there that you don't usually see in this genre but at the same time I found myself wishing they used that effort for something else. I'd say the overall feeling is it's just not finished. Hard to pinpoint specifics, just the overall vibe is that it's kinda unbalanced and raw.
@@dims4627 Yeah don't get me wrong, it'd probably be a lot more fun with friends. I couldn't get too deep into it before I had to make the video but with the 6 week wipes and that awful character/server issue in the beginning it was just...well let's just say it didn't instill confidence that the game'll get better with time. Cuz those are two DECISIONS they made...not bugs, errors or glitches.
I find it interesting becausr my charactersl had a voice which decided to work every now and then

The fact that there's reset mechanic in place in the game really put me on a fence to play...

@@MrObvious125 Free to play doesn't mean my time is free as well if you know what I mean?
Your weapons and armour and most items will remain if you save it on your permanent world, so will any buildings you do in that world, what does change after reset is world exploration progress, exp, materials. And missions, i also heard that every season will add more story each season, so it's not like you're really replaying most of the content again

They fixed the character thing
What I've seen is that the survival mechanics of the game are pretty bare bones. From hours of gameplay I watched, not once I seen a single enemy/quest that caused any challenge really, even as a starter you just walk through everything pretty easily. If you try to just go towards a random direction the mobs become basically non exitsent and it's not technically "open world" since certain regions you simply cannot access 'cause of your lvl. Furthermore they put some seemingly very simple building mechanics such as windows at around lvl 20 or higher and they conveniently also put a 50 buck window/window house customisation in the store day one. The last thing that cought my eye is that the motorbike u can craft is Im pretty sure only around ~30% faster than you just running
It doesn't matter for everyone... but no Spanish language support will limit my play. I speak english just fine, but I'm living in Medellin and learning Spanish is very important to me. I just can't spend a lot of time playing games where I'm also not at least learning some Spanish along the way.
That really is truly a shame, I'm a native speaker, but a few of my close friends aren't, and Spanish not being available is a big turn off for them even if the game is phenomenal
I believe you can change servers at the teleport stations?
You can change "worlds" so like...a different instance within that server. But you cannot change servers. Sorry :(
