The lesson here is that popularity/fame/being viral =/= good. If anything, it's usually the opposite lol I can usually tell by the effort alone. Doesn't need to be the best visually looking stuff, but if I can tell that person/persons went in going for their best and with an actual intent to help/inform and not just get clicks, then that's likely a keeper lol Couldn't give a rat's ass about sub count or even views. Some people are just unlucky (or shadow "banned"/throttled). Platforms like RUclips ain't exactly a cosmic entity of pure objectivity now, is it. Not to mention anything that's for-profit will always have alternative incentives other than making you happy or informing you duh

Great alternative for acid farming without relying on polluted areas... Especially when u also want to pump oil but cant pump acid. Ofcourse theres killing monsters for acid too.

This is HUGE that you can produce acid in a non-polluted area. Now you could set up in an oil field and produce fuel with the water pumps and still be able to produce acid. This opens a lot of viable areas, not just the blackfell oil fields.
Pros: 1. Live anywhere. 2.Low power usage. Cons: 1. Needs a lot of time to start up. 2. Your mushrooms are gonna plant corrupted plants in your lit boxes. 3. Probably gonna need waste 3-4 slots to to have mushroom deviant out.
4:36 for your acid farm guide, I'd looooove if you created it where the pumps are easy to plop down and dont require deconstruction. The one acid farm guide of yours had a really nice design but when it gets saved to a blueprint and you try to recreate, the pumps wont be placeable
first of .. you can farm a LOT of Scarlet Calamus in the same cave where you farm the Mushrooms and second, switching Server is not needed! Some Plants will respawn very very fast and the Scarlet Calamus is one of them. You can run in that cave with Mushrooms up and down and they keep respawning.
If youre looking to min max the amount of acid you should grow contaminated aloe vera. All three contaminated crops take 12 hours to grow but the aloes have a 2:1 acid conversion ratio whereas berries and wheat have 3:1
Brother aloe vera is stated to grow in 12hours but its way longer i already did the farm in this video the 1st day this update and i testedb it myself the production is enough for the passive uses of acid. Aloe vera take 16hours to grow not 12
I honestly feel like they either need to do 1 of these 3 things to make this acid farm work. Up the amount of crop that you get at the end of a crop cycle, increase the amount of acid produced from contaminated crops or they should decrease the amount of crops needed in order to produce acid. This is just my opinion if they were trying to produce another feasible option to farm acid otherwise it doesn't really feel like it's useful at all

So he could end up planting contaminated seeds in the sunlight farm and seeds that need light in the internal/dark farm, right?

It seems its either bugged or it was 'nerfed'. Now you can no longer build 2 layers of boxes between 1 low column with small half walls. Which is a pain cause I was planning on building this system inside a base and now shit will get really high/it will look strange.
i built a 6- story building. One set of boxes on each floor. you can stack as long as one empty layer is between. Tomorrow I will add sprinklers and let you know. I am putting a sprinkler on the 3rd and 6th floors.

What do you think is the better choice for acid/hr, berries/wheat or Aloe? Only two Aloe but I think the tool tip is bugged and the growth time is 24 hours instead of 12 like berries. So I think berries would be more?
I didn't understood your question tbh. The requirements are met because these plants do not need light. if u mean seed yield, you always get 1 seed back when u don't use fertilizer

What do you mean harvest two times a day? Contaminated plants have 12-hour growth cycle. Plants have 2: Germination, Growth Period. 12 hours for each growth cycle. How are you harvesting twice a day?
hello, i'm new to this game and i want to make money from selling to npc, everything i've found on guides are mainly about selling ales or canned food, but nobody ever talks about fruity sanity capsules, which sells for 1200 EL and only needs one kind of crop (beet) with its deviated variant, is there any reason it's rarely talked about or not recommended? thanks in advance and you make awesome videos!🙏
hey. I can't answer this question for sure. but if u need energy links, you can earn them very easily by selling gold bars. Due to limits, players, who farm gold / silver and craft bars, have more bar then can sell. So they are usually selling them using vending machine at Blackfell. You just buys cheaper from them and sell more expensive to traders.

I think it might lose when the crop become deviated. but contaminated crops cannot become deviated, so it doesn't. at least every time I planted, I got 100% seeds back
Someone in your hive/friendlist might have taken it, I have this issue repeatedly happen when my growshroom box suddenly become empty and when I disabled all facility access on all my friend list/hive it doesn't happen anymore.
With base limit you only plant only corps box rest other function facility cant... so its waste... Better use +50% acid food and run blackfell you get acid easily
The devs need to make this easier and faster because I can literally get 300 tacos in an hour by just doing silos and running around killing enemies…. And then the game resets every 6 weeks so this is just point less
This type of acid farm removes the 300+ watts need of power to a measly 30 watts. It enables you to farm basically everywhere, it needs minimal water, power, and attention. You should understand that this form of acid farm is NOT a better way to farm acid. The traditional form of acid farm that needs polluted water and a million pumps is the way to go if you want shitloads of acid. The polluted water acid farm is still the best acid farm. I dont get people who want this type of farm to be better because it wont be. Its not supposed to replace the traditional one.

Tbh I do find that using chops and killing stuff is a far more effective way to get acid. I do use the planter as a passive one.

I use the growth fertilizer which cut the time by half.
Shrooms can't use fertilizer

you need to wait a little. they update their status not instantly. it may take a few minutes after u placed ceilings above them

In my experience, growshroom "lose" seeds. Lasr farm I used them in started with 50 seeds and I ended up with nothing.

Nice farm for people that don’t have a lot of time, but I prefer to farm acid from mobs, 30 min = 300-400 acid with the food for 50% extra acid
Its meant to be a pssive(read offline) farm
so i can make my house in a pretty place instead of a shadowy deserted land
