Next find out how we can separate growshrooms to grow non polluted crops in one place and polluted crops in another place without using an alt. Is that possible? I wish devs could let us toggle soils to only accept certain crops like a filter menu.
When i first saw the title for the video i was like "ill probably never use this"...10 minutes later, imma build this!!! This farm will save so much space and electricity!!!
Growth boost requires ingredients you can’t get unless you farm them so I like using more yield boost since you can get mushrooms more easy. I also try to have two batches of seeds so that some are growing while others get stored on growshroom and planted right away when first batch is done. Was not aware of the changes on the update and that’s great!
In the Way of Winter, true. However if in SE Nalcott there are multiple teleportation towers with 2 or 3 apple trees, you can get 200+ apples in a very short time by switching worlds. Depends of where people are.
YOU know if u TURN OFF Gird Snapping you can get 11x11 Loamy SOILs in a sprinkler ON 1 Level you don't need so many Levels. that's already 121 soils for 1 Level/Floor, meaning you can have a round garden and its looks lush.
Thank you, this is pretty nice. I wonder if the same farm but with sunlight (no roof or walls) could be used for regular stuff instead of the planters then? Or are you working on an improved regular crops farm video?
If you leave the sides open then only the plants on the outside will get light. However, if you're just making food for yourself, then its not a big deal if you plant before you log out. This is how I grow crops for corn soup for my guild. One large mega plantation. I get all of the crops I need for food in a single night for quite a while. Then rotate to herbs or grain for our animal tamer who goes through a lot of that per day. I was using planter boxes before but I'll be doing loamy soil from this point on. The 30% grow difference is only really important if you want crops to grow and be harvestable while you're playing. Otherwise, when I jump on the next day an entire crop of 60 plants is waiting for me in my Growshrooms inventory.
bunch of frames that you can walk in and out works as "walls" aswell. any entity you put in build mode to add verticality is a "wall" besides the actuall wall. the more you know about this kinda broken game ;) good video but yeah sure thats your voice and is not AI at all... damn fkn ai
This is an amazing build! Clean, great looks, and functional! Well done! Cant wait till you put another video up!

technically it's possible, but with nuances. if come up with something more or less working, will make a vid
Still best to have 2 alts for many reasons.

Always impressed by your compact build 😊
i will do it. so cute this design
Love your videos!
that's a very clean build. thanks bro. 💪👍👍👍
Is there a way to do this same idea, but with bigger ceilings/foundations so as to save structure units?
you can try to replace some foundations, walls and ceilings for bigger ones. I didn't test, but it theory it have to work
What does base fertilizer do directly from the composter? The description doesn't say what buffs it gives
passive acid farm still worth it?

ye right now im using 1 floor round farm with 116 soils with light affects middle and dark on the sides

such a farm will be, but not with this build. inner loamy soils don't receive daylight, so it won't work normally
@@KIANL-GAMER Ahhh such a shame, thank you. I liked your previous compact farms but they are a bit big for my taste when fully built hehe
Would this work with making deviant plants or stick with planter boxes?
all plants except contaminated ones require light, so no. well, technically yes, but they will grow approximately 30% slower

does it need to be in a contaminated area?
You can only get the seeds from contaminated plants in polluted areas but you can grow those seeds at your own farm anywhere.
Growlight?
contaminated crops grow in darkness. they don't need light
@@KIANL-GAMER I mean I want to adapt it for normal crops
Why not just put the water tank on the roof? It save you a water pump. At most you just need to build a ladder to reach the tank
to keep it neat and compact. You can put if u like tho
can't you just use a rainman and use the spare space with additional soil?
also, you safe the water and use 0 Electricity.
haven't tested yet tbh, but will check
