Animal cruelty gets off light. Dude probably got 28 years for being on meth and heroin when he was caught. Not because the judge had the spontaneous enlightenment that animal cruelty is just as bad as cruelty to humans.
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but as far as I am aware animals do not have rights in the U.S. and in most countries. Instead, people are punished for abusing animals because abusing animals often leads to abusing humans. That is why, while we hate it when cute animals get abused, animal cruelty still often carries light sentences.
My aunt tried to hire an assasin on Craiglist like five years back. It was the cops of course that responded, but she even went so far as to make poison in her house with 5 girls, 4 of them under 12 years old. She ended up serving 3 years in prison, but that was wild.
As expected I suppose. Anyone ever found any hitman services on darknet? I keep hearing about that shit but never found anything more than drugs and conspiracy forums and I've been using tor for years.
Was she in abusive relationship? Cause with making poison, that could be conspiracy to commit murder, if person she tried to kill was an abuser, could be why only 3 years
26 years for animal related offences is incredibly high. One shudders to think what acts of depravity he committed in order to receive such a sentence.

6:35 I read a story once about a guy who strapped explosives on his dog and killed it. It was ruled legal because since death was instant it was humane and not animal cruelty. The guy who got 28 years must've really tortured a number of these dogs, well deserved to get 28 years.
That’s disgusting. The mental gymnastics people will take to not punish pet killers and such is ridiculous. Reminds me of PETA trespassing, stealing a dog, and euthanizing it. Nothing was done to them.
@@ma.2089 It's not just mental gymnastics. It's the limitations on what can be enforced especially with animal abuse where countries just straight up do not have laws against things and there's no political will to do anything about it. Though then again there are situations where people commit premeditated racially/etc. motivated murder and judges handwave it away and give people the absolute minimum sentence possible, so yeah maybe.
I heard a 911 call on YT yrs ago about a pregnant girl that went to someone's house that was advertising free baby stuff on CraigsList & the pregnant woman was attacked & her baby was cut out of her, I didn't hear anything further about it, so I have no idea if she lived or if they ever caught the person that cut her baby out of her or if the baby even lived either.
Are you talking about the Lisa Montgomery case? If so then the baby fortunately survived and was given back to the father after Lisa was caught. Unfortunately, the mother was still alive and was left to bleed to death after she was ripped open.
Not really. I mean if she put any thought into it, she would have offered a certain amount upfront (probably half) and the rest after services rendered. Also, even if you did accept the money, I'm pretty sure it's illegal to do even if you have no intention of going through Sith the murder (and I don't just mean because you are scamming someone out of their money) but I could be wrong about it. With how public she was with the hit, you would almost certainly be caught

There was a guy in my neighborhood in San Jose, CA that was finelly caught in his car sleeping in target parking lot with a orange tabby cat that was dead and had been sexually abused. Come to find out he was stealing cats threwout the neighborhoods to do this to cats. It hurt my heart, mind and thoughts so fu*king much, i couldn't follow up on it. It was around the same time my "orange tabby age 22 yrs old" went missing.
8:27 I'm kind of tired of people saying this- hear me out, but everyone says that people that harm animals should get locked up because they're more likely to harm people as well. That is obviously true of course, but I feel like it distracts from the animals rights. There are a lot of people who torture animals but nothing comes of it because they're recognized as property. *Trigger warning* I have animal abuser relatives that still function in society because they haven't committed crimes against humans. These people torture kittens for fun and fill their dogs with bullets when they're tired of feeding them. They can't run away and they can't cry for help. It probably sounds wrong to most people, but it disgusts me even more than child abuse because of how defenseless they are. So what I'm trying to say is that I'm sick of always fucking hearing "animal abuse is a bad sign because they could turn into a murderer" shit. I just wish people would recognize that animals aren't disposable objects, they feel pain.
I see what you mean, you want people to not only recognize animal abuse because it can be attached to the abuse of humans, and instead just recognize animal abuse because its harming animals.
@@lampylightbulb yeah just to clarify, I never meant that abuse towards children was fine. Coming from someone who has been abused, molested, and witnessed animal abuse I can say that in my case I had the ability to escape, defend myself, confide in others, and ask for help. So yeah, both are bad, but targeting a child and targeting an animal are both pathetic in different ways. When someone tortures an animal they see it like a demented experiment or a game.

Coming from a recovering poly addict, the dog killer deserves more especially since the drugs probably enhanced the pleasurable feeling from that deep dark desire he was feeding from his entire life. Just because im in recovery doesn't mean I'm justifying drug use. Every hard drug user I knew/know don't want to harm animals or hurt people, they're only hurting themselves which we know we do. Ive only met a couple possible killers through the drug world who couldn't get off without hurting someone or something and I always did something about it. I'm 5 yrs sober now and still believe that people are born with it
Glad to hear you're doing better, and yes I agree almost all people with drug addiction that I've met were people who were hurting and had no intention to harm others

I mean, both children and animals are defenceless and innocent, which is why people who abuse them are damn sickos who need to be locked up for life
Have you alerted the authorities about your relatives?
