  • If you have done star trails with iphone, then you will know that Even Longer is the best app that is currently available to achieve this. Now with an update to Even Longer, it has night mode. With that night mode, we can acheive some incredible star trails as well as astrolapses that have significant improvements over the S23ultra astrolapse.
When we combine the 30 second night mode shots from Even Longer and the intervalometer, we can shoot hundreds of images then move them into Star Stacker.
With the Star Stacker app, you can create a number of different star trails from your iPhone as well as astrolapse videos and even some of the best night time time lapses we have seen.

Thank you. I’ve been a photographer for many decades. Ever since I was young, I’ve wanted to photograph the night sky. I followed your instructions, using a 13 pro, I stacked 700 raw images for my first try. I’m away from home on a vacation which presented this opportunity and my result was outstanding. This was my first time doing what I’ve always wanted to do so thank you 😢😊.

I just tried out the new update to see what the metadata says, and it's reporting the longer shutter speed, but the caption is giving a very interesting "night mode algorithm." It looks like some more magic from Mario!! I'll definitely be giving this a try to see how it works in comparison to FA and LT mode!

This is all straight from camera into luma fusion on iPad to create vid below. It’s good but there is room for making it even better. I’d like to see 16:9 aspect to help with video making. Tested Jan 24. Doesn’t seem to be a beta testing program which is disappointing as the best apps have this. This example was in average seeing.
