How should i choose between ATCHA and RADO? Could you elaborate a bit more on their differences and which one is better for what type of river / paddling style? Thanks a lot :)
Sure can - Rado is, overall, a larger board. Therefore, you will feel more stable on this board but you won't be able to run some smaller, more technical sections of whitewater on it. It's great introduction board for someone who wants to increase their whitewater SUP skills. Additionally, because of it's size, the Rado is great if you want to have overnight expeditions with your board. It can hold a bit more gear than the Atcha. Meanwhile, the Atcha is a very playful downriver Whitewater board. It maneuvers better than the Rado, and can fit in some tighter pockets. Additionally, river wave surfing is easier on an Atcha if you want to learn those skills as well!
Awesome, thank you so much. In which case ATCHA makes more sense for me. And if you compared ATCHA 96 to RADITO? Also, just a side note for you, im from Europe and Im unable to access your halagear.com website as it always keeps redirecting me to your EU website, where I can’t find all the models.
Great video, would be good to get an updated 2023 version and see if any of your boards has changed over the years. All the best.
What about height and paddle lenght? It is a case of buying non adjustable padle for weight saving.
Love it.....
What is your fastest whitewater board? (Which I realize will likely not be as maneuverable).
Carbon Nass is our race board and a mileage maker!
