I love the perspective you get on a SUP when exploring rivers or canals-the elevated view is fantastic for taking in the surroundings. I also don’t find solid paddle boards any less stable than inflatables, especially when paddling in the surf at sea.
I would go with the sup. Many of the inflatable ones have attachments for seats so you can use it as a kayak, and set it up for fishing. They can also hold multiple people and gear and can cost less
I would go with the sup. You can add a seat to the sup, and the one I got came with an attachment to make the paddle like a kayak one. They sup costs less even with the seat attachment it is the way to go.
