I've been to Skye in the summer of 2019 and absolutely loved it, but difficult to get a park at the Faery Glen and I didn't have a campervan then. Good for you hiking in your undies 😀🤗 there's a movement of naked hiking 😃
I went to The Isle of Skye almost 40 years ago, incredible place to visit....apart from the midges!! Highlight of the week was walking up in the hills with my parents, and a Vulcan bomber passed over very low between the mountains, the noise was just incredible. I will never forget it. Thanks for the film as always!
The Old Man of Storr was a real revelation - and those dinosaur tracks! Wow. Just wow. Once-in-a-lifetime moments! Thank you (for the millionth time) for your enthusiastic sharing.
We were on Skye just over a month ago with our 2 little ones, we spent the whole time absorbing the absolute beauty, hiking and getting married. 2000 miles of driving over a week, and it was the most incredible experience. It feels more like home than Devon has ever felt! Incredibly good video, thanks guys!
I’ve been going to Skye for 35 years. It’s like a drug, I can’t be away for too long as I get withdrawal symptoms. The bridge wasn’t built till 1995 so I used to get the short ferry from Kyle of Lochalsh. It truly is my favourite part of Scotland, of which there’s many to choose from. Thank you for sharing your experience.
@@davidstuart4915 I haven’t used B&B,s. I’ve always booked a cottage, although the last time I booked a pod just north of Portree. If you’ve never been before Portree is a great central location . From there you can get to most of the best locations. There’s also plenty of B&Bs there. If you’ve never been I’m sure you’ll love Skye. There’s plenty of advice on how to get the best experience suited to what you want. Skye is without hesitation my favourite place to visit. It’s really is a magical isle.
The one thing that really strikes me in this vlog, apart from the spectacular scenery and destinations, is Emma's obvious joy and lust for life. It is so refreshing to see someone so happy, content and enthusiatic in what they do with their life. Keep these amazing vlogs going guys. You're inspiring to watch😍

Sadly, in our several visits to Scotland over the past 60 years, while we have visited Scotland, we have never visited Skye and clearly, we screwed up. I can't tell you how much we enjoy your videos.
I love hiking in my knickers as well. Yes in the first 5 to 20 minutes or so one may feel cold but one will get hot after hiking for a while and the last thing I want is to carry too much in my backpack. Also it gives a sense of pure relaxation and blending with nature.
You are truly beautiful Emma! Loved the thumbnail, very funny. The scenery is gorgeous, I definitely have Scotland on my bucket list. Thanks for another great video!
I love the couple in the background walking with their heads bent searching every inch for dinosaur footprints while you are standing there filming and pointing at one!
What fantastic scenery you two. Brilliant video. Alex, with all your filming of Emma in front of you, I think she should be nominated for ‘Rear of the Year’. 😉
Emma’s a typical middle class girl, as self deprecating as they come, and sexy as hell but not in the love island mould- (let me sit in this bikini and pout). Yuk.
I remember when there was still a ferry between Kyle of Lochalsh and Kyleaking connecting Skye with the mainland. At that time you could really sing: over the sea to Skye.
@@bennevis21 yes I know, I've taken it in Summer 2015. It was a pleasure. There is also a very small and old ferry from Glenelg, I try to take it next time. Thank you for your reply.
What a wonderful video to reflect on our unforgettable time on the Isle of Skye in 2017 and while we traveled there with a small group of eight in pouring rain for three days we didn’t have the chance to hike and we desperately want to return to hike the trails you were on. Scotland is our favorite country in the world and the Isle of Skye our favorite spot in Scotland. The tall mound you climbed in the Fairy Glen (with the inconvenient boulder at that top, was where my wife scattered some of her Scottish mom’s ashes so every time we see someone film there we give a wave to our monitor and say “Hi Mom!” So, Hi Mom! ❤️
The one time I was on Skye was in the 90s. The bridge hadn't been finished yet and I was travelling through Scotland by train, staying in B&Bs. So I just walked on the ferry to Skye, then travelled by bus. It was a wonderful experience. The bus visited all the little farms that were dotted around and delivered the mail to them as well. It was April, so I had all the weather you could possibly have but it was the best trip ever. Thank you so much for this video and the others before. You brighten people's lives a little bit and that is a wonderful thing to do.
Emma you are stunning! We have to say this might be your MOST beautiful video to date! Epic drone shots, cinematography is incredible! Worthy of National Geographic! We could have watched hours instead of 20 minutes! Love you guys! ~Cara &John ❤️
