This is one of the best Skye videos I’ve seen. Your drone footage is epic and the clear explanations are so appreciated. Where did you stay when you visited Skye?
Thank you! We actually stayed at an Airbnb which was a little bit out of the way from the main town so we wouldn’t fully recommend it as it was a little difficult making grocery runs and such!
Awesome video. Going there at the end of May. Still looking for what to wear. My girlfriend loved your outfit with the yellow jacket. She’s wondering what brand it is and what boots are you wearing. Thanks again for sharing your adventures. 😊
Glad you guys enjoyed the video! The yellow jacket is from Helly Hansen, here’s a link to it: rstyle.me/+_warhpzlWtSOf2d2eA-q6Q I bought the boots almost 10 years ago at Mark’s which they don’t sell anymore but here is a pair that is similar and much better as they’re waterproof and less bulky! rstyle.me/+XmH5TWXJm86el9fWl42cqA
Well done… I toured Isle of Skye in February… you did an awesome job explaining and pronouncing… the video footage is incredible! Your video is probably one of the best I’ve seen… Keep up the great work !
Heading to Skye with a friend in June and you have covered almost all of our '"must see" destinations. Such great info and filming! I have watched dozens of youtube videos and rank yours at the top! Thank you for sharing 🙏🙏
@@LaurenJasonBTW Uig is a village & Dunvegan is a hamlet!!!. No mention of Loch Coruisk, why is that?. Its the most STUNNING place to see on the whole island!!!!.🏴🏴🏴😎. Personally I prefer may/june or sep/oct.
When you are driving on the left side of the road, isn't a single road the best to happen to you?: Doesn't matter which side you are on, there is only one... the correct one! 🙂
Haha while yes a single road is quite nice when it comes to which side of the road, when there’s lots of oncoming traffic then it’s not longer so fun! The constant pulling over 😭
This is a beautiful video! Very well done and so informative. Did you have any problems with drone requirements for your filming? We are going over in September 2025 and would like to take a drone if it is not an issue.
Did you go to the Fairy Pools? Wife and I are spending two days on Skye in May. Definitely doing Fairy Glen, Quiraing, and Neist Point. Trying to decide on Fairy Pools or not (don’t want to try cramming too much in to the two days).
Unfortunately we didn’t! The main reason being it’s quite far from the other attractions. While it does look beautiful, from the photos we’ve seen we felt like our time would be better used in the other spots in our video!
We would stick to the spots that don’t require too much walking like Lealt Falls or the fairy glen! If you did want to tackle the harder treks then definitely give yourself more than ample time for multiple resting points, lots of water and food as well!
Hiii love the video ,we will be going in july ,i heard they r tics we have kids did you encounter any are they in all these places where we hike ,we have got the reppellent but now iam feeling a bit sacred i was so excited tk go and explore, any suggestions
Definitely! We would definitely suggest doing Storr first then Quirang afterwards since Storr gets busy quickly. Even though Quirang gets busy as well, there’s a lot more space to roam around so it doesn’t feel as cramped!

Great Skye guide 👍, the Isle is in our hearts after our trip, thanks.
Thank you! It’s such a beautiful part of Scotland 😍
This is great information and the filming is wonderful. I have not thought about Scotland as a place to see but maybe now my family and I will go!
It’ll be a great trip for all of you and we can’t recommend this part of Scotland enough 😍

We didn’t see any restrictions when it came to drones!
Good show
Awesome video. Any issues with capturing drone footage? I’ve heard a few folks can get a little spicy over it in some locations. Thanks.
We didn’t notice any issues personally! We saw quite a few drones in the air no matter where we went haha

We haven’t personally encountered any ticks while we were there! But we did go when it was quite cold so we were quite covered up.
Is Old Man of Storr and Quirang doable in one day time wise?
Definitely! We would definitely suggest doing Storr first then Quirang afterwards since Storr gets busy quickly. Even though Quirang gets busy as well, there’s a lot more space to roam around so it doesn’t feel as cramped!
@@LaurenJason Awesome, thanks!
Pls come to india
We hope to visit one day soon!
Looks like organised mayhem 😕
