I wish the show would've upgraded the characters' uniforms to the New X-men comics like in this one. The Jim Lee/Claremont outfits are iconic but is about a decade behind the actual Bastion saga in the comics.
Patrick Stewart voiced Professor Xavier in almost every X-men game back in the 2000's including X-men Legends (1 & 2), X-men Mutant Academy (1 & 2), and this game.
Gamecube for me. I remember being so good at this game that I went through the Endurance mode, and got so far that the game broke, and every enemy character model would just be the grey,, textureless base model lol. I think I managed to beat like, 200 consecutive opponents
The “Mutant Academy” series was the vanilla version. “Next Dimension” was the next gen 3D version, but still fun to play. Definitely deserves a remake if developers decide on making an X-Men game (I’d start with the Fighting Game genre IMO 😉).

Then the Mouse bought the House of Ideas and slowly poisoned the X-Men to death while promoting the stupid Inhumans and overexposing the Avengers at every conceivable chance.
Actually, what really happened was that Ike Perlmutter (the previous CEO of MARVEL's MCU) hated The X-Men before Disney's purchased the company, without making a deal of buying the rest of MARVEL's license from FOX, he wanted to create The Inhumans, eventually his bitterness created the decision of Kevin Feige by either become a CEO or quit MCU entirely. Eventually, you know how it turned out, and with The X-Men and Fantastic-4 being purchased a decade late, let's hope the franchise finally become the premiere team once more...!
Fam, I’m a mid 90s baby (95) and I played this game growing up. I I wasn’t even payin attention enough to remember I knew who bastion was before X-men 97. I wish i still had this game man. My favorite X-men to use were Wolverine, nightcrawler, Havok, magneto and beast.

History proves Storm will NEVER get creativeness in motion pictures, anime, and cartoons. Hopefully, one of the episodes is a battle of Storm vs. Magneto, Bobby Iceman, Idie Okonkwo aka Oya, Human Torch, Sunspot, and Sunfire. That would test how much of an Omega Mutant she is...if any.

This game made Bastion one of my favourite X-Men villains.
Only cuz of this game I figured out who the hell it was in the recent Xmen 97 episode.
