I'm having a high powered pc built for the vast recording I do with my band. For the last 25+ years I used a Roland VS2400. It worked great and still does but it's limiting. I want to go with studio one 6 professional as my very first DAW. This video and videos like these are so appreciated! Thank you so much. This will definitely get me started. I still have a lot to learn because I'm basically computer illiterate. Again, thank you for taking the time to make these videos!
I just want you to know that I bought Presonus studio one about two months ago and have watched many videos. Some really good ones out there. But your videos are simple, and yet detailed explanations enough that encourage beginners to become familiar with the software. I probably watched 10 videos of yours and have learned a tremendous amount and I’m ready to get started with confidence. Thank you, sir. Keep them coming.
I got the Presonus io24 and so far I’m really happy with. Got a combo with a midi keyboard and speakers and artist. Ended up bumping up to the hybrid option and hit the single channel fader to go with it. (Hybrid is the way to go! 179 for pro with the one year subscription. Crazy good deal!)
Thank you so much for watching! This small channel is supported by viewers like YOU 😁🙏

Thanks for watching! They’re rolling out version 7 very soon so keep an eye out for that. Good luck with your new setup and recording!

Granted they aren’t high end speakers but it allows my kids to play the midi keyboard and hear it.

Thank you Chris....Best regards from Belgium...
When you're adding a limiter, do you change the threshold from -3.0, or do you leave it at -3.0?
