- Over the last 3-4 months I’ve been searching for the filming locations that were used in the movie Big Wednesday.
Finding each one is like discovering a treasure and visiting them is an overwhelming experience of nostalgic vibes.
Along with vids, pics, and narration from then (1977) to the present day, there will be some extra fun stuff thrown into the final cut.
Please “Bear” with me as I’m just a surfing pool man, and editing a vid is complete-amateur-hour-territory for me.

High likelihood that wedding scenes were filmed at the Mission San Fernando. Seems a false altar was placed over the more extravagant real one.Please confirm.
Yes, it’s at the Mission.
At all these locations, there’s lots of change after 45 years.
I was surprised there was as much change at a historical Mission, but it’ll be in part 3.
Working on Part 2.
It will have the following scene locations:
-road to Tijuana
-partying in Tijuana
-Matt causes a car wreck
-Bear’s Surf Shop

今は52歳のオヤジです。
結局この映画は人生で一番影響を受けた映画となりました。
@@chanthako 奇遇ですね僕も５２歳です僕は中学生の反抗期の真っ只中でこの映画を見ました。今まで総計３００回以上は見たと思いますそれに原作の方も何千回読み返したかわからないほどです多分僕が幼い頃から毎年夏は小笠原で過ごしそこにいた旧友たちとビッグ・ウェンズデーの３人の主人公ブラスベアーが僕にアピールしたんだと今ではわかります長文の返信で申し訳ないです

まさかこの年でこの映画について熱く語れる方に出会うとは思いませんでした。
本当に嬉しいです。年と共に好きなキャラクターが変わってきて10代、20代はリロイ、30代はジャック、40代はマット、そして50を過ぎてまたリロイに戻って来ました。(笑)
これからもずっと見続けます。

いえこちらこそイマの若い世代の殆どはビッグウエンズデーシ知りませんから歳を重ねるごとに好きなあの三人の主人公が違うのですか?僕さ初めて見た時からジャックバーロウが好きですが歳を追うごとにベアーの気持ちが若い頃より理解できるようになりました
