I honestly thought there's no way the Satoko theory could be true, that every time she was made out to be sus was just a red herring but honestly props to everyone who got it right. Just being on this journey of theorizing and discovering new things has been the time of my life
honestly I kind of knew it was her, especially since Satoko looked so much like to that one blonde from umineko. It's crazy I even started supecting it was kinda her because it was just so strange to why Satoko acted weird and strange. Welp, now I got my answer to all of this. That makes so much more sense as to why she even was sus around around Keiichi. This also made sense as to why satoko lured Keiichi into his home. I can't wait until more of this is explained.

Why was Satoko not panicking and hallucinating despite the fact she had the hinimizawa syndrome when she was killing rika for not performing the ritual? Whenever we see other characters with Hinimizawa virus rena, shion, and rena especially others have level 5 hinimizawa, we'd see one of them go bat shit insane. The fact that Satoko seemed irritably calm shows us that Satoko is hella sus. No one in this series seemed to act calm and psychotic at the same time. Satoko when she murdered Rika with her intestines out proved something else. even in the Visual novel of Umineko which i suggest you go watch it, it was said that Is Lambdadelta and Rika (she's that purple haired witch) are said that they're witches that are a result of feeding off negative emotion and who else would it be? Satoko and Rika except Rika is more on the good side, but on umineko is the result of rika being highly depressed and just given herself up to those negative emotions which in the previous episode of 16, it looked like Satoko wanted Rika to feed off of more of those negative emotions. To even sum it all off, Rika when she was witch and Lambdadelta they would mention about how she and Rika would have past beef with each and have suddenly "moved" on. The fact that Rika was so close to Labdadelta shows us it's most likely Satoko as she can easily remember all of the past loops and be sus about it. Even when Keiichi somehow could remembered the past loop when he was affected by the hinimizawa virus, he just stood there all scared and confused because he doesn't understand why he's remembering the past loops, but Satoko knows about the past loops and easily remembers everything without ever being confused. this shows us proof that Satoko is actually a witch and is definitely the result of Lambdadelta feeding off of those negative emotions. While I still haven't finished the VS of Umineko, this shows us that there's clear evidence that Satoko is Lambdadelta, but people were confused because the author never really mentioned nor confirmed that Satoko was Lambdadelta, but he didn't deny the theories and hints of her being specifically especially since he gave us some clues to it. People theorized that it was that blonde chick from Higurashi who is a nurse, but the thing was that whenever she killed someone or something, She might forget it even happened, but the fact that Blonde chick regrets doing something in the past and that she doesn't wan to remember those memories shows us she's not Lambdadelta. Out of everyone, it has to be Satoko because Satoko is practically the embodiment of Labdadelta who has been fed to those negative emotions.. Whenever Satoko becomes bad, negative, toxic, manipulative, etc; if you compare it to the VS of Lamdaddelta, she has those exact same character traits. This also explains why berkanstel (rika as a witch) is also the result of Rika giving to herself those negative emotions. rika mentions herself as of right now, the only looper who has been manipulating this whole time was the person who rika was the closest to.
The story of Higurashi: Once upon a time, a bitch of a Witch named Featherine went and got her horn and memory damaged, which turned her into Hanyu. Rika became Hanyu's shrine maiden and together they made the original anime, where they deal with Takano's bullshit for the next one hundred years. After that gets wrapped up, Rika decides she wants to try being in a different anime, maybe one of those preppy all girl school yuri ones. Satoko, her plucky co star from the original series, didn't really like the sound of the new anime, but she went along with it cause this is her "best friend." Needless to say, Satoko was not a fan of the new anime's plot, especially since she was being relegated to being a side character. When the two of them come back for the Cast reunion of the original anime however, it turns out Featherine is almost entirely back to normal, though not quite enough to go by her actual name yet. She asks Satoko if she has an agent, and then says "hey maybe I can get you a reboot to that anime you liked being on." Satoko is 100% down with that cause the new plot is just bullshit. So Featherine and Satoko use some contract loophole to get Rika back for the reboot and the new show begins. Eventually, once this gets wrapped up, Satoko and Rika will go for their new roles as Lambdadelta and Bernkastel, the witches of Certainty and Miracles respectively, and go play in another anime.
I do hope Rena, Keiichi, Mion and Shion are going to play significant roles in the last arc though. I mean Rika and Satoko are fun and all, but these characters work best when you see the chemistry between all 6 of them.
Yeah, Rena has actually been mostly a side character this series, since they decided not to adapt her arc, so far Rena randomly murdered Keichi in the first arc and then was mostly just being cute or sad in the background.

@@kenshi3436 I mean, yeah pretty much. Rika's the one who steals the spotlight. Keiichi too, although he kind of fades behind scenes on the answer arcs. But it makes sense. Characters that aren't the focus of the current arc either die, or become side characters. Beyond the club games and the fight against Takano, we don't really see them interacting with each other too much (Kira is an exception).
I still find it hard to believe that this is realated to Umineko (that anime Let exam episode 16 and 17. Still not enough evidence. In Kai Haynuu saved Rika, right before loop ended and in Rei she reminds Rika how much life is important welhy turn evil now or even tell her about the sword? As for Satoko she is clawing out her neck while revealing all this information. I believe somebody is speaking _through_ Satoko and not Satoko herself that is jealous or wants to keep Rika around. Not only that, but she ends up dying in multiple loops why would she end herself as well as trying to keep Rika in town? *I think we might have gotten this all wrong and Riikahy07 is throwing us for a loop.* I'm following up on episode 17 This actually proves my point even more. Somebody else is using Satoko. She isn't in control at all, Keichii in the original series remember the Time loops at one point. Does that make him a Looper no there is something big coming. Satoko is still same old Satoko she herself is an evil she's just a vessel.
After watching the first season finale I'd dare to say that Satoko IS Lambdadelta. Her behaviour is the same of the witches, giving two shits about what happens in "the board" and being obsessed with Rika (Bernkastel) to the point of wanting to break her. We can't forget that Lambdadelta confesses Erika that as Bernkastel, she was in a logic error too. And we can't forget how the first time Eua and her meet each other, Eua says that they are acquaintances from before, even if Satoko says otherwise. So my theory is that due to several loops Satoko and Rika acquire powers on their own and become witches (Lambdadelta and Bernkastel respectively) and ascend to the world of witches where time no exist. Then, a young Takano wishes to become a God and Lambdadelta (an older Satoko) grants her wishes and the loop continues indefinitely The cons against this theory is that in Umineko Auaurora considers Bernkastel her miko, but not Lambdadelta, who is just her miko's friend.
She probably could have played it off like she randomly remembered something from another fragment (like when keiichi remembers onikakushi or tatarigoroshi) and rika might have believed her
to be fair, Okonogi was the leader of the mountain dogs in the original Higurashi VN/Anime as well, with him also being included in Ciconia. Seems like he's just a recurring easter-egg character. Amakusa's sprite was also added into the console port of the Higu VNs. Either way I'm still not giving up hope on a future Umineko adaptation.

Higurashi no naku koro ni Kira 2011 - 2012. Higurashi no naku koro ni Kaku Outbreak 2013. Higurashi when they cry - Gou 2020 - 2021. One or 2 of these are OVAS but one of them still have to be watched regardless because it could be linked to Umineko when they cry. So I'll save the magic girl ova one and watch that one once you've warched umineko because the recent Gou episodes are showing a character almost identical to featherine. Your welcome.

Ever since Bernkastel told Lambdadelta in the umineko’s novel if she still didn’t knew which was broccoli and cauliflower I knew something was up with Satoko and her. If she is a looper, then its possible all the deaths Rika cant remember from the previous episodes are done by Satoko herself?
Takano was being influenced in s1/2 but not in Gou She was literally never involved in any of the killings this season, her men never once tried to kill rika too I knew something was up
I feel like satoko is doing all this to make Rika stay her since in umineko lambda was trying to use Beatrice's game to tie bernkastel down. So this might be the game that lambda was playing with bern before joining in Beatrice's game
I was wondering that as Bernkastel and Lambda mention they had played a game in which Bernkastel came out victorious, so Rika may win this...but it might also be what sets her down the path to being how she is in Umineko.
This "satako = Lambdadelta theory" has been here since the VERY beginning of Higurashi and it's still shit now. Takano has ALWAYS been closer to Lambdadelta than Satako ever was. The first game was always between the pawn known as Takano and the pawn known as Rika. They even reference this in Umineko about a battle they once played. Satako was NEVER the enemy of Rika in Higurashi. Hanyuu, is obviously Featherine that comparison has always made sense because Bernkastle CONSTANTLY uses "Au au" (Hanyuu's noises) when talking to Featherine. Bernkastle is also Featherines "pawn" in that she is Featherines subordinate after winning the loop in Higurashi. In Gou, Takano is completely fine, which indicates more that Lambdadelta is no longer using her as her pawn, which makes sense considering Lambadelta in Umineko lost to both Bern and Feather in an actual fighting match. Lambadelta and Bernkastle also have a very respectable relationship as far as Witches go. They both know how powerful eachother are, aswell as the limits they will go. But they also do have a "love" as far as witches go. Bern won the Game vs Lambdadelta in their Match of "Chance" vs "Miracle". These games in Gou so far have been about Satako keeping the pawn of Rika, inside the nightmare.

I have a feeling that the reason they left this ending hanging is because they gonna continue this right after the answer arcs and why Satoko is doing this... Which means Rika and the crew is not dead in this timeline and right after Satoko's answer arc next week, they would pick this up where they let off...
Please, don't be too optimistic, Satoko is likely gonna shoot everyone dead in the classroom, I'm sure of that, then the arc after this is likely going to be all Rika vs Satoko. Everyone is going to die, except Keiichi, he never dies, you can drop a nuke on his head and he will survive it.

I think ... Takano is influenced by Lambdadelta, in Umineko no Naku Koro ni Tsubasa, it is strongly implied that she set Higurashi's story in motion by granting with certainty Takano's wish to become a god. This means that lambda is using satoko or she got into her, that is why satoko takes out a gun out of nowhere and takano surrenders because lambda takes away her certainty But idk only ryukishi07 knows

This is exactly what i have been saying Takano is not the villain or the one being influenced by lambdadelta this season Its satoko Takano was never involved in the killings of rika this season unlike in season 1/2 Isnt that weird? I'm holding off GOU off untill i read Higu VN, but after seeing couple shots i've got to say - GOD DAMN, Umineko proper adaptation is more than sure to come after GOU is finished. It'd be a lie if i said i ain't hyped.

Upon re-watching the episodes up to this point, it is so fun to see little hints of this throughout (her accusing Keiichi of being with Rika last during the Mion/Shion arc). I'm so excited to see where this goes next!
lambdadelta's dead ringer has always been younger takano. for her to be linked with two realtively unrelated characters would be weird. plus we know that lambdadelta was not the one that put rika in a logic error. satoko is probably just a piece of whoever honyu (featherine) was fighting against
Lord Oyashiro was inside Satoko yes, but your theory is probable considering Bernkastel's possible connection to this world through the sea of fragments.
So is it possible that Rika turned into Bernkastel because she didn't want to kill Satoko while Satoko didn't want to ever lose her, thinking that she would again run away from Hinamizawa if she releases her from the loop? After all, this perfect timeline when nothing happened was just after Rika accepting to stay, so isn't it Satoko's goal to just live happily with her? I don't see Rika killing Satoko in the sake of being free but that'd probably turn her even crazier. Are you thinking it's Bernkastel and Lambdelta's origin story or the consequence of them existing already and trying to change the outcome?
A lot of people have been saying this is their first game/Bern's origin story but I'm honestly thinking it's their second. Ofc my theory also suggests that everything has happened in Gou and Umi because Satoko made a contract with Featherine to go all the way back to Higurashi and change everything even right down to Miyo's involvement basically so Lambda could finally win the Higurashi gameboard against her, because the game simply ending when Featherine got bored/Hanyuu believing in human courage and Takano simply giving up was something she never got over (since it's what trapped her in the logic error). But this would've happened five years after Matsuribayashi-hen or even Miotsukushi-hen ended (in 1988, while Higu takes place in 1983 and Umi in 1986 respectively), so I don't really know what could have propelled Satoko to become Featherine's Piece and possibly become a Witch. However, I'm starting to buy into the theory that she ultimately went L5 when she saw Rika again (because she had stopped taking her medication or acquired H-173 in her delirium) by infiltrating Lucia Academy and ended up killing her. She did this purely out of jealousy that Hanyuu was trying to take Rika away from her similarly to how Shion behaves toward her in Meakashi-hen for relying on Satoshi so much (amusingly, the key visual for the second half released shows Satoko against the backdrop of the burning village carrying Shion's ribbon. And we already know that they are much closer to each other in Gou/Tataridamashi than they ever were in Tatarigoroshi). In her grief she made that contract to go back and redo Higurashi, with obviously no recognition that she would ever go as far as to actually flip the gameboard to get back at Hanyuu/Featherine and bring about Bernkastel's birth. I can also imagine her delirium from HS would've completed clouded her original ambition which is what made her far more cruel and deceitful as she decided "oh I love not being the victim anymore so I'll use any means necessary to get Rika back, even if it means 'If I can't have her then nobody will'". That sure sounds a lot like Lambdadelta to me. Ultimately I don't know if this means she ever actually made the contract with Miyo but while I have theories on that, they're ultimately not relevant here. What is relevant here though is that she would know Takano well enough to completely remove her from the game and steal H-173 from the clinic to purposefully accelerate her case of Hinamizawa Syndrome in the Nekodamashi loops. Maybe because she already gave up on those worlds like Rika gave up on Watadamashi. The primary crux of her connection to Lambda for me is ultimately the moments where Lambda says she doesn't remember when she went insane or what exactly the logic error she was trapped in was, but doesn't really care if it means she won't have to spend an eternity alone as a Voyager Witch in the Sea of Fragments. There's also some really interesting lines in her Umi Tsubasa story where when encountering Miyo and later Y*su she speaks in a bunch of allegories that feel like a description of Satoko incidentally killing her parents (and Keiichi) by pushing them off the bridge or ending up being thrown off the bridge herself like in Yakusamashi-hen (which was anime original but still overseen by Ryukishi). Could just be a coincidence but I think even a blue truth has the potential to become red or golden truth at this point (as in, her alluding to her past and realizing how much she and Miyo have in common even if she doesn't know at that point that Miyo will kill her younger human self, or even if she does know it doesn't really matter anymore because the outcome is still going to be Rika becoming Bernkastel. However, maybe even that story got retconned by Gou Satoko's actions and Takano giving up on being the Game Master, who's to say. Only the Witch of Certainty knows what really happened that night). And lastly, I think that there was a major conflict in goals where Lambda decides all she cares about is beating Hanyuu even when her/Satoko's original wish was to save Rika/Bern at all costs just so she wouldn't be alone anymore (also because she genuinely loves her but the tragedy is that this is less important in fulfilling her ambitions now). I also honestly have to wonder if its really impossible for ANY of the other Higurashi characters to become Witches at this point, but that's a different theory entirely.

I always thought that Satoko was Lambda's piece from the beginning, even if it was a friendly one (as a present of sorts to have a lovely friendship with Rika/Bern despite being the opponent/big bad). This pretty much confirms it to me.
I always thought Takano was Lambda's piece, but I guess not in this timeline? Maybe this is the logic error where Bern got stuck and that's where Satoko comes in with Lambda's help.

Yes, it seems Satoko loved Rika so much she didn't accept her leaving Hinamizawa and Satoko herself behind, that could be the origin of Lambdadelta and her love-hate relationship with Bernkastel

Why was Satoko not panicking and hallucinating despite the fact she had the hinimizawa syndrome when she was killing rika for not performing the ritual? Whenever we see other characters with Hinimizawa virus rena, shion, and rena especially others have level 5 hinimizawa, we'd see one of them go bat shit insane. The fact that Satoko seemed irritably calm shows us that Satoko is hella sus. No one in this series seemed to act calm and psychotic at the same time. Satoko when she murdered Rika with her intestines out proved something else.
even in the Visual novel of Umineko which i suggest you go watch it, it was said that Is Lambdadelta and Rika (she's that purple haired witch) are said that they're witches that are a result of feeding off negative emotion and who else would it be? Satoko and Rika except Rika is more on the good side, but on umineko is the result of rika being highly depressed and just given herself up to those negative emotions which in the previous episode of 16, it looked like Satoko wanted Rika to feed off of more of those negative emotions. To even sum it all off, Rika when she was witch and Lambdadelta they would mention about how she and Rika would have past beef with each and have suddenly "moved" on. The fact that Rika was so close to Labdadelta shows us it's most likely Satoko as she can easily remember all of the past loops and be sus about it. Even when Keiichi somehow could remembered the past loop when he was affected by the hinimizawa virus, he just stood there all scared and confused because he doesn't understand why he's remembering the past loops, but Satoko knows about the past loops and easily remembers everything without ever being confused.
this shows us proof that Satoko is actually a witch and is definitely the result of Lambdadelta feeding off of those negative emotions. While I still haven't finished the VS of Umineko, this shows us that there's clear evidence that Satoko is Lambdadelta, but people were confused because the author never really mentioned nor confirmed that Satoko was Lambdadelta, but he didn't deny the theories and hints of her being specifically especially since he gave us some clues to it. People theorized that it was that blonde chick from Higurashi who is a nurse, but the thing was that whenever she killed someone or something, She might forget it even happened, but the fact that Blonde chick regrets doing something in the past and that she doesn't wan to remember those memories shows us she's not Lambdadelta. Out of everyone, it has to be Satoko because Satoko is practically the embodiment of Labdadelta who has been fed to those negative emotions.. Whenever Satoko becomes bad, negative, toxic, manipulative, etc; if you compare it to the VS of Lamdaddelta, she has those exact same character traits. This also explains why berkanstel (rika as a witch) is also the result of Rika giving to herself those negative emotions. rika mentions herself as of right now, the only looper who has been manipulating this whole time was the person who rika was the closest to.

The story of Higurashi: Once upon a time, a bitch of a Witch named Featherine went and got her horn and memory damaged, which turned her into Hanyu. Rika became Hanyu's shrine maiden and together they made the original anime, where they deal with Takano's bullshit for the next one hundred years.
After that gets wrapped up, Rika decides she wants to try being in a different anime, maybe one of those preppy all girl school yuri ones. Satoko, her plucky co star from the original series, didn't really like the sound of the new anime, but she went along with it cause this is her "best friend." Needless to say, Satoko was not a fan of the new anime's plot, especially since she was being relegated to being a side character.
When the two of them come back for the Cast reunion of the original anime however, it turns out Featherine is almost entirely back to normal, though not quite enough to go by her actual name yet. She asks Satoko if she has an agent, and then says "hey maybe I can get you a reboot to that anime you liked being on." Satoko is 100% down with that cause the new plot is just bullshit. So Featherine and Satoko use some contract loophole to get Rika back for the reboot and the new show begins.
Eventually, once this gets wrapped up, Satoko and Rika will go for their new roles as Lambdadelta and Bernkastel, the witches of Certainty and Miracles respectively, and go play in another anime.

I do hope Rena, Keiichi, Mion and Shion are going to play significant roles in the last arc though. I mean Rika and Satoko are fun and all, but these characters work best when you see the chemistry between all 6 of them.
Yeah, Rena has actually been mostly a side character this series, since they decided not to adapt her arc, so far Rena randomly murdered Keichi in the first arc and then was mostly just being cute or sad in the background.

But it makes sense. Characters that aren't the focus of the current arc either die, or become side characters. Beyond the club games and the fight against Takano, we don't really see them interacting with each other too much (Kira is an exception).

As for Satoko she is clawing out her neck while revealing all this information. I believe somebody is speaking _through_ Satoko and not Satoko herself that is jealous or wants to keep Rika around. Not only that, but she ends up dying in multiple loops why would she end herself as well as trying to keep Rika in town?

This actually proves my point even more. Somebody else is using Satoko. She isn't in control at all, Keichii in the original series remember the Time loops at one point. Does that make him a Looper no there is something big coming. Satoko is still same old Satoko she herself is an evil she's just a vessel.
After watching the first season finale I'd dare to say that Satoko IS Lambdadelta. Her behaviour is the same of the witches, giving two shits about what happens in "the board" and being obsessed with Rika (Bernkastel) to the point of wanting to break her.
We can't forget that Lambdadelta confesses Erika that as Bernkastel, she was in a logic error too.
And we can't forget how the first time Eua and her meet each other, Eua says that they are acquaintances from before, even if Satoko says otherwise.
So my theory is that due to several loops Satoko and Rika acquire powers on their own and become witches (Lambdadelta and Bernkastel respectively) and ascend to the world of witches where time no exist.
Then, a young Takano wishes to become a God and Lambdadelta (an older Satoko) grants her wishes and the loop continues indefinitely
The cons against this theory is that in Umineko Auaurora considers Bernkastel her miko, but not Lambdadelta, who is just her miko's friend.
She probably could have played it off like she randomly remembered something from another fragment (like when keiichi remembers onikakushi or tatarigoroshi) and rika might have believed her
Amakusa was in this episode, so between him and Okonogi we're up to two Umineko characters. Here's hoping for a third.

to be fair, Okonogi was the leader of the mountain dogs in the original Higurashi VN/Anime as well, with him also being included in Ciconia. Seems like he's just a recurring easter-egg character. Amakusa's sprite was also added into the console port of the Higu VNs. Either way I'm still not giving up hope on a future Umineko adaptation.

This "satako = Lambdadelta theory" has been here since the VERY beginning of Higurashi and it's still shit now.
Takano has ALWAYS been closer to Lambdadelta than Satako ever was. The first game was always between the pawn known as Takano and the pawn known as Rika.
They even reference this in Umineko about a battle they once played. Satako was NEVER the enemy of Rika in Higurashi.
Hanyuu, is obviously Featherine that comparison has always made sense because Bernkastle CONSTANTLY uses "Au au" (Hanyuu's noises) when talking to Featherine. Bernkastle is also Featherines "pawn" in that she is Featherines subordinate after winning the loop in Higurashi.
In Gou, Takano is completely fine, which indicates more that Lambdadelta is no longer using her as her pawn, which makes sense considering Lambadelta in Umineko lost to both Bern and Feather in an actual fighting match. Lambadelta and Bernkastle also have a very respectable relationship as far as Witches go. They both know how powerful eachother are, aswell as the limits they will go. But they also do have a "love" as far as witches go.
Bern won the Game vs Lambdadelta in their Match of "Chance" vs "Miracle". These games in Gou so far have been about Satako keeping the pawn of Rika, inside the nightmare.

Please, don't be too optimistic, Satoko is likely gonna shoot everyone dead in the classroom, I'm sure of that, then the arc after this is likely going to be all Rika vs Satoko.

I think ... Takano is influenced by Lambdadelta, in Umineko no Naku Koro ni Tsubasa, it is strongly implied that she set Higurashi's story in motion by granting with certainty Takano's wish to become a god.
This means that lambda is using satoko or she got into her, that is why satoko takes out a gun out of nowhere and takano surrenders because lambda takes away her certainty

So is it possible that Rika turned into Bernkastel because she didn't want to kill Satoko while Satoko didn't want to ever lose her, thinking that she would again run away from Hinamizawa if she releases her from the loop?
After all, this perfect timeline when nothing happened was just after Rika accepting to stay, so isn't it Satoko's goal to just live happily with her?
I don't see Rika killing Satoko in the sake of being free but that'd probably turn her even crazier.

A lot of people have been saying this is their first game/Bern's origin story but I'm honestly thinking it's their second.
Ofc my theory also suggests that everything has happened in Gou and Umi because Satoko made a contract with Featherine to go all the way back to Higurashi and change everything even right down to Miyo's involvement basically so Lambda could finally win the Higurashi gameboard against her, because the game simply ending when Featherine got bored/Hanyuu believing in human courage and Takano simply giving up was something she never got over (since it's what trapped her in the logic error).
But this would've happened five years after Matsuribayashi-hen or even Miotsukushi-hen ended (in 1988, while Higu takes place in 1983 and Umi in 1986 respectively), so I don't really know what could have propelled Satoko to become Featherine's Piece and possibly become a Witch.
However, I'm starting to buy into the theory that she ultimately went L5 when she saw Rika again (because she had stopped taking her medication or acquired H-173 in her delirium) by infiltrating Lucia Academy and ended up killing her. She did this purely out of jealousy that Hanyuu was trying to take Rika away from her similarly to how Shion behaves toward her in Meakashi-hen for relying on Satoshi so much (amusingly, the key visual for the second half released shows Satoko against the backdrop of the burning village carrying Shion's ribbon. And we already know that they are much closer to each other in Gou/Tataridamashi than they ever were in Tatarigoroshi).
In her grief she made that contract to go back and redo Higurashi, with obviously no recognition that she would ever go as far as to actually flip the gameboard to get back at Hanyuu/Featherine and bring about Bernkastel's birth. I can also imagine her delirium from HS would've completed clouded her original ambition which is what made her far more cruel and deceitful as she decided "oh I love not being the victim anymore so I'll use any means necessary to get Rika back, even if it means 'If I can't have her then nobody will'". That sure sounds a lot like Lambdadelta to me.
Ultimately I don't know if this means she ever actually made the contract with Miyo but while I have theories on that, they're ultimately not relevant here. What is relevant here though is that she would know Takano well enough to completely remove her from the game and steal H-173 from the clinic to purposefully accelerate her case of Hinamizawa Syndrome in the Nekodamashi loops. Maybe because she already gave up on those worlds like Rika gave up on Watadamashi.
The primary crux of her connection to Lambda for me is ultimately the moments where Lambda says she doesn't remember when she went insane or what exactly the logic error she was trapped in was, but doesn't really care if it means she won't have to spend an eternity alone as a Voyager Witch in the Sea of Fragments. There's also some really interesting lines in her Umi Tsubasa story where when encountering Miyo and later Y*su she speaks in a bunch of allegories that feel like a description of Satoko incidentally killing her parents (and Keiichi) by pushing them off the bridge or ending up being thrown off the bridge herself like in Yakusamashi-hen (which was anime original but still overseen by Ryukishi). Could just be a coincidence but I think even a blue truth has the potential to become red or golden truth at this point (as in, her alluding to her past and realizing how much she and Miyo have in common even if she doesn't know at that point that Miyo will kill her younger human self, or even if she does know it doesn't really matter anymore because the outcome is still going to be Rika becoming Bernkastel. However, maybe even that story got retconned by Gou Satoko's actions and Takano giving up on being the Game Master, who's to say. Only the Witch of Certainty knows what really happened that night).
And lastly, I think that there was a major conflict in goals where Lambda decides all she cares about is beating Hanyuu even when her/Satoko's original wish was to save Rika/Bern at all costs just so she wouldn't be alone anymore (also because she genuinely loves her but the tragedy is that this is less important in fulfilling her ambitions now).
I also honestly have to wonder if its really impossible for ANY of the other Higurashi characters to become Witches at this point, but that's a different theory entirely.

Now thinking about it, it could be that lambdadelta might be inside satoko. I also thought Une was inside satoko which is what I think.
Steven Wonder saw this coming. 🤣 They really made episode 14-16 not make sense for absolutely no reason other than to throw off people who knew the obvious. Can't wait to see how she orchestrated each arc, though some stuff I already know cause of past observations and theories.

I always thought that Satoko was Lambda's piece from the beginning, even if it was a friendly one (as a present of sorts to have a lovely friendship with Rika/Bern despite being the opponent/big bad).
