1- "i hear doubles, they tell me he can do It live" I don't know Who tell you that but thats Just false, Will can do both, but not at the same time. You hear doubles because the track Is layered, but no human can do BOTH at the same time 2- old Singer, CJ, was accused of being a molester or something. Then he got "clean" about It but It was late, the band got distanced from him prior to that to avoid controversy and got Will instead. They Blow up as a band with "to the hellfire" which was their First "new Lorna Shore" Song.
Austin also said they didn't get along with CJ, and certainly similar things have been said about him previously and since. Great vocalist though, I like his work on Lorna's album Immortal. The video for the track Immortal is great too.
Lorna Shore ❤ I saw them live last year in Tuska metal festival in Helsinki, Finland. They're great live 🤩 My best ever festival with dream lineup. My favorite band Orbit Culture, Gojira, Arch Enemy, Marko Hietala, In Flames, Swallow the Sun, The Hu, Electric Callboy etc etc. Next year will be awesome too... They announced Lorna Shore, Orbit Culture, Tarja and Marko already ❤
Their original vocalist is called Tom Barber and is currently vocalist in Chelsea grin and Darko US. Both are really sick bands :D If you want to hear something with their original vocalist i can recommend "Flesh coffin" or "Fvneral moon".
now look at your face while the music goes on, you are already a fan if you like it or not ;) so you ask about the former singer .. just react to "Immortal" then you know it is NOT because of his vocal acrobatics ... it is very controversal and i dont care because he is gone and i don´t know Lorna Shore when they recorded with CJ, and i even never heard one song with the first singer. But IMMORTAL is worse a reaction ;)
tom the original Lorna shore vocalist left o join Chelsea grin like 2016-2017, then CJ McCreery joined from Signs Of The Swarm ( Another sick band) that didn't go to well as he was kicked out for some allegations before the album dropped. which is how we have Will, would really recommend going through each era of vocalist as each album with each sound vastly different in my opinion. Also will is a EXTREMELY talented vocalist who can use a lot of overtones to create different sounds. But a lot of the time on the track when you hear a low and high together is where the vocals are double tracked. It's A very common studio trick in this genre of metal. Basically scream harmonies haha
It’s not really high and low sounds at the same time, even though he is capable of a lot of flexibility in his voice changes. I think it's due to the recording of the clip, you can really hear the difference when you listen to them live (for example, their studio recordings, which are incredible!)
