I dont make stickers. I watched the whole thing. I'm so impressed you share EVERYTHING including settings for others to use. So thoughtful and selfless you the best
Of course! I'm glad you found it helpful ♡. It could be worth experimenting with other brands as well, just to see which one works best with your setup! Happy crafting!🫶🏻
I found this video at the right time, I’ve been on my own journey on starting a bis of my own and this was really helpful. Best of luck with your shop and hope you get to where you want to be!☝️
New subscriber! Do you find your cutter is better than a Cricut? I should try to find a comparison video. I tried a Cricut last night and I wasn't impressed LOL
Welcome! In my personal experience, I prefer the Silhouette more than the Cricut. I experienced less mistakes and more accurate cutting in comparison to the Cricut. I was thinking of making a comparison video but don't have a Cricut with me since I sold it 🥲
Love this video! I didn't know it was a tutorial, I thought it was one of those studio vlogs but it made me miss making stickers. I used to have the silhouette cameo 4 when I had my shop and the Epson L3150(?) and I missed producing my own stickers. I'm planning on opening my shop again (i moved to a diff country) and buying a Portrait cutting machine instead. I didn't get to utilize the long range of options of the cameo especially for vinyl cuts and I want a simpler but compact machine. Love your editing and filming style!
Thank you so much for the kind words! 😊 I'm glad you enjoyed the video and it’s awesome to hear that you’re thinking about reopening your shop! The Portrait machine is definitely a great choice if you're looking for something more compact. If you ever get back into sticker making, I’d love to see what you create! Best of luck with your shop, and thanks again for the support 🫶🏻
Which cricut machine did you have prior? I currently have a cricut. Even with the updated calibration the machine will make wonky cuts 😵💫 was there a huge learning curve with the silhouette ?
I owned the explorer air 2 I believe! Maybe it as just a me problem, but I just had a lot of difficulty getting the Cricut to cut accurately. As for the machine, there is gonna be a learning curve. The Silhouette software provides more adjustability compared to the Cricut. Ultimately, you will most likely have to experiment with the settings but after that you should be fine!
@@AnikaByun that’s my problem as well, the stickers come out looking weird cause it went in too deep inside or way outside the boundary of the image. do you think it is easier to use than cricut or is it different in its own way? Do you find yourself calibrating it every other few months or so ?
Thank you for this video, very insightful. Can you provide me with information on the curved monitor you have? Also, where can I find the drawer storage you use? I don't make stickers, I make silicone molds and am trying to organize the pieces I mold. The drawers are too small with the current system I have and the labels don't stick to the front, regardless of the stickers or glue I use. This may work!!! Thank you for any suggestions you may have.
Hello Thank you for your comment! My monitor is called the Samsung Neo Odyssey G9! As for my drawer storage, I got it from a TJ Max or a Marshalls, so cannot recall the particular brand 😭
Just wondering, do the stickers stay well on water bottles like the one you showed on the video? Or does it tend to peel off after a few hand washes of the bottle? Thank you and I enjoyed the video.
The Avery laminate sheets I’m using in this video don’t require a laminator! They’re super easy to use as is. However, for projects where I want extra durability and a stronger bond, I do prefer using a laminator to ensure everything is securely adhered.

thank you so much!! I wanted to include all the information that I wish I found when I first started 🫶🏻 So happy you enjoyed the video! 😍
@@AnikaByun can you make a video of the cons or things you wish you knew before starting the sticker business. I would appreciate it!
I love that we both have a Silhouette Portrait machine and an Epson printer❤Most videos are always Cricut and Canon folks haha. 🥰
You tutorial is even better and much easier than Silhouette’s! 💖🙏🏼
Thank you so much! I'm so happy you found my tutorial useful 🫶🏻

Can these be used on your car? Like outdoors?

Silhouette is in my opinion better including Silhouette Studio.
Do you do custom orders?
so pretty❤have you tried borderless stickers?
Thank you so much ! Yes I have made borderless stickers, the steps are the same from my experience🤗
First ever voice over I believe?.
yes it was~ was very nervous because I am self-conscious of my voice, but felt it was most appropriate for a tutorial (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ)
@@AnikaByun don't be, it was good. you can do a mix of both in the future like silent vlogs and with voiceovers
Thank you! and yes I was also thinking the same~ Practice makes perfect 👌🏻
Awesome
Good job..really nice
Thank you so much! Always trying to improve every upload 🫶🏻
So do you have to have a laminator? Sorry have no idea about laminating sheets

@@AnikaByunand what laminator do you use?
You don’t need an SVG? It works well with PNG?
I personally have not ran into any issues with just PNG :)
Hi.. How to print text for resin Arts?
Are you using Dye ink or Pigment?
New subbie!
Welcome!! thank you so much for your support! 🫶🏻

😢 I want make Stickers but i can not use my Silhouette Portrait 4 without PC or Laptop, i don’t have laptop 😢
aww it can be tough without a computer! For the time being, cutting by hand can be a nice in-between!
