if you use procreate to design, a really handy trick is to export a version with a transparent background! The silhouette program automatically follows the outlines of transparent pieces so you wont need to do it manually!
Is it possible to upload the files from iPad to a pc just through cable connection? Or does procreate somehow make you do it by wifi? I don’t have an iPad atm. So I can’t test it out yet. Just need to know before I get anything…
@silverlining_1995 oh my I swear I replied!! I use Google drive to transfer the files since my iPad is the only apple product I have and it works well for me but if your computer is a mac I think you can air drop it!
This is super helpful! I found out recently that you can use the rounded box feature in Silhouette Studio so you don't have to cut the corners yourself! Huge time saver :)
Thank you. I just ask this question. Do you have a cameo or Portrait. I’m trying to figure out which one is best. I’m going to be printing on vinyl stickers and regular stickers paper
This video is my lifesaver 😂 I’d been struggling with my silhouette machine for over half a year and this tutorial showed every detail I was confused about!! Thank you🤍
Hi, thank you so much for this video. This is truly very helpful for me who just started my Sticker business. It is a step-by- step way to have a perfect sticker. Thank you so much
Thak you so very much - you were the only one who taught me how to use my new Silhouette in less than half an hour. The options you showed were crucial to me and for that I'm eternally grateful. Thank you again! And obviously I have one doubt/ question - how should I set the blade if I want to use washi (like) paper? I'm trying to make a sheet to decorate my 2024 journal and would like to have it on 2 small sheets. It will probably be waaay different setting than white sticker paper...
Lovely 🌷 im also buying a portrait after leaving my bigger machine in the city. Maybe perhaps next time if u want, u can separate the sticker designs (png) from the background then put the cutting lines then just group them together afterwards. I think this can help u save more time in a way so u dont have to manually remove the excess marks🌷💜
hi first of all thank you for this tutorial. I wanna ask you something, how can you delete the inside outline marks for all of the images in one click? I could not find it. Thank you again
your video is perfectly calm, and thank you for the step! if i may ask, what if i don't have the printer at home and want to print outside? how to save the printing file from the silhouette studio to send it to printing place? thanks in advance!
Seems like there are ways to optimize this: 1. Offset funtion is also available in photoshop if you have the subscription 2. Sticker sheets can be quickly dupliated and aligned in silhouette studio paid versions. This way machine will have border info to cut so you don't have to manually draw them 3. The borders can be cut through via cut setting to avoid manual ripping, which could generate rough edges 4. As people mentioned, just design the sheet to be round cornered, portrait will cut it
Thank you for this video tutorial brill 🥰👍 Please can you tell me or show us how you create the sticker sheet with the header? Is this created in Silouette software as I only have Cricut and not sure how I do it. I noticed its a png file? Many thanks for your help 🥰👍🤍🤍🤍 xxx
Hi! I've been watching a lot of your videos recently while I work! I got my Silhouette Portrait 3 brand new, tried it immediately and all cuts were perfect but after about 20-ish print&cuts, it started having misaligned cuts on the lower left side of the paper. Have you experienced this too? I tried calibrating and changing the mat but those didn't work :( My only workaround is to move the offset/cutlines a few mm. Works most of the time but it's a bit time consuming. Hope you can help, thanks!
did you try putting the paper in a different spot of the mat? i don't have a silhouette but i have a cricut and it sometimes happens so i just put the piece of paper a little right from where it's supposed to be
Thank you SO so much for such a helpful tutorial!! ☺️❤️ Just a quick question: I get stuck when it comes to deleting the inside offset...it ends up deleting the stickers. Any way to explain how you do that part? Thanks so much!! :) ❤️
In this case I make a note of the position (X/Y) of my printed stuff and move it out of the working area. Then you see all the cutting lines and can work with them better. (Nevertheless the software is very delicate as the objects could be moved by only a simple mouse click - so you still need to be careful.) Afterwards you can put the printing layer back again by entering the previous X/Y coordinates.
this is so helpful! thank you. but what i'm wondering is, why set the cut force to 3-4? my sticker paper is somewhere around 270 gsm, how's yours? how can i know the force that's perfect to kiss-cut for my paper weight?
I used to be able to use the the trace and offset function just like you are doing but it isn't working anymore. I don't know if it the IOS system on my mac or what. I have tried everything even silhouette can't help me.
Hi, thank you for the video. Is it possible to import a pdf file that already contains the cut contour? I usually add the contour lines in affinity designer. For example online printing services often ask for a certain contour name like "kiss_cut" and a magenta contour color in the source file.
hi i did follow your method but im not sure why mine didnt cut through properly. And it was marking at the wrong place :( do you have any advice for me?
Can you tell me about your dimensions on the canvas because that’s procreate right? I just recently started to make stikers on my portrait 3 but when I make my design’s on procreate they came wired when imprinted them but I have a cricut maker and when I make the same design on the cricut the print came perfect but via silhouette the print came like the lines were moving during printing but the same design on cricut came perfect 🤷🏻♀️I know sounds confusing
I've been watching about stationary since several days. I really sorry before, but i seriously wanna ask what's the function of stickers? So sorry i really wanna know and thank you for the answer
Hello Lauren, Hope you are doing well. Actually I need a suggestion from you. I'm one of your subscriber on YT. I saw you using both Cricut Explore and Silhouette Portrait. I started my own sticker shop. Will you please recommend one cutting machine between these two brand? Thanks in advance.
I finally learned how to make stickers with my Silhoeutte because of this video, thank you so much for this tutorial. Question though, I would like to add my brand name in the sticker but I don't want it to be cut, is there a way to not include it from the trace? :D
Hi! I love your video and inspires me to create my own stickers. But I wanna ask about procreate canvas size. Do u set it to the actual sticker sheet size or you work on a larger canvas size? Thank you!!
What version of silhouette studio do you have? Also, do you know if you’re laptop has the M1 chip? Because I’ve been having a lot of issues with printing from silhouette studio 🙁 but you’re stuff is super cute and adorable!!
Hi Syrah, I unfortunately have the same problem. I finally made decision to buy Silhouette (Cameo version) but first I wanted to check silhouette studio. And always when I want to edit something the silhouette studio crashes (after few minutes). I have macbook air with M1 chip (actual ventura and newest silhouette studio). Unfortunately I can't find more information about it, do you have some any news?

Hey I have a question, why would I need to make an offset if I am already happy with the trace lines in the step before ?

Do you have to use a whole page if you only have a 1 or 2 stickers
can i use my own customized pic, or just need to use from silhouette pic?
Amazing 😍
Hey! This was helpful but however my stickers didn’t come out sticky or do we have to buy sticker sheets for it?
This is so cute. When I do kiss cut, the stickers came out with dust. How do I prevent that from happening?

when I'm going to print, it doesn't have any settings with it. I dunno what to do so the stickers comes out good helpppp huhu
Hiii, do you mind sharing your print settings? and do you draw in rgb or cmyk? :) Ty!
Hi i like your all video
very good tnx for sharing
what did you use to print the stickers?
Hello! I was wondering what size is the canvas on procreate?
THANK YOU!
Hello I'm having a problem with my potrait 3,basically the problem is cutting is not aligned with the initial cut. Can you help me out please
Wondering what brush you use to create your designs? I'm assuming you're using Procreate.
Hiii question may i know what printer do u use
I was just about to ask the same thing lmao
Thankyou!!!

Decorate stuff specifically your bullet journals or planners if you love cute things and art!
Hi! What printer to you use? ☺️
Hello Lauren,
Hope you are doing well.
Actually I need a suggestion from you. I'm one of your subscriber on YT. I saw you using both Cricut Explore and Silhouette Portrait.
I started my own sticker shop. Will you please recommend one cutting machine between these two brand?
Thanks in advance.
When I try to get rid of the inner red lines it just deletes the whole thing, idky
How long does it take for that one sheet to be cut?
Good 🇬🇧😉👍👏💖
I finally learned how to make stickers with my Silhoeutte because of this video, thank you so much for this tutorial. Question though, I would like to add my brand name in the sticker but I don't want it to be cut, is there a way to not include it from the trace? :D
Where did you get your laptop cover from?? It’s so cute 😆
Wonderful video! 😊
Quick question: Can we cut the rounded corners directly using the Silhouette?
is it true that you always need to waste some sticker paper due to the registration marks?
can someone pls tell me what paper do i need to use to put in the printer and where to buy them from since they don't come with the printer itself?
Just regular sticker paper. Some same Amazon’s brand of Panda is really good
Is it a drawing pad you used to draw the designs first?
😍Thank u❤
Hi! I love your video and inspires me to create my own stickers. But I wanna ask about procreate canvas size. Do u set it to the actual sticker sheet size or you work on a larger canvas size? Thank you!!
Omg tysm for this I'm thinking about getting a sticker cutter and I'm def thinking about getting the silhouette cameo! is the app free btw?
It is!! It comes with the printer so it's perfect 😊
