Because this is the maximum size I can do to fit two in one cricut sheet. The cricut print a a black border as a sensor line so you can’t make them A5 size as they won’t fit on the page. Any bigger and I’d only fit one sticker sheet on one A4 page

hi there! yours is probably the 5th tutorial i've gone through today alone. everything works great up until the cutting part. it cuts the sticker sheet perfectly but doesn't try cutting any of the actual stickers. i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong but i'm getting desperate. any help you can provide would be amazing!
Hey! I’m so sorry you’re having trouble with this. I know it’s really frustrating when you’re watching all the tutorials! Are you doing this method on the cricut design space on the iPad? It seems to only work on the desktop! Just thought I’d ask before looking further into what it could be!
@Fizz and Flourish thank you so much for your response! it turns out that was -exactly- it! it worked perfectly when i sent the images to my macbook and processed them from there! (the only major issue i'm running into is the ugly black borders around each sticker but i've read in many places it's some sort of an IOS issue that isn't resolved :-/ )
So it sounds like either the settings are set to ‘more’ pressure or ‘default’ pressure. Have you tried the ‘less’ pressure? This will hopefully make the blade cut a bit lighter. Or, are you using a new blade? I always have to make settings adjustments when I change the blade. Orrrr, I’m reading this wrong and you mean that the kiss cut sticker isn’t cutting fully and it’s lifting the background up too? In which case, you might need to change the settings to ‘more’ because it’s not cutting through the sticker paper - or you need a new blade maybe as it could be blunt? The settings I show on my video are only for my sticker paper, so you might need to experiment with different settings. Sorry I can’t be more helpful, it’s hard to know without being there!
Love this video but I’m having trouble actually doing it. I tried following all steps but it keeps cutting the boarder of the sticker sheet only without cutting the stickers insides.. any idea how to fix this?
Hi! Have you saved the stickers as a png? They need to have a clear background around each sticker, so no white background. If you’ve already done this, have you attached the layers together in cricut design space? Also - this tutorial is for desktop use…I don’t think it works on the iPad version of cricut design space. Hope that helps!
I've been trying to make stickers for so long, and I finally made the actual design for it, and using the Cricut is way more errors than successes for me. If it actually reads the black lines, usually the cricut doesn't cut exactly and it's always off. And I spent time making sure the paper is exactly lined up on the grid so does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
I’m so sorry you’re having trouble! I really understand the frustration, believe me! This may be a silly question, but have you tried calibrating the machine? You can do this in cricut design space. It’s sort of resets the cricut when it’s cutting off. Also try having the lid down or holding something over it so that it’s in shadow and the sensor light can really pick up the lines. Some people also find the opposite helps - flooding it with light. These are just a few tricks that can help but if it’s really not working and you’ve tried everything then I’d get in touch with cricut. One thing that worked for me, was taking the light apart and cleaning it properly (it was covered in dust so not picking up the sensor lines). But that should only be the case if you’ve been cutting for a long time and dust has built up. Also if you do that, bare in mind your warranty won’t be covered. I really hope some of those tips help - I have a love/hate relationship with my cricut!
Hi i tried to make one of this but unfortunately my Cricut machine wont cut inside the sheet, it only cut outside the background sheet not in each sticker. Can someone help me?
Does anyone know how I can make sure my Cricut explore air 2 aligns the cut right around the stickers? Even with a white background I am still finding it off to the left and down way too much. It doesn’t need an update which I have tried. I have changed the position down by 3cm but again isn’t really helping the issue. The sticker backing outline is perfect. When I upload the stickers file they overlap the backing title so I have to edit the size to fit and have done this manually to get it lined up. Please help!
Hello, me again 😅😂 so when I’ve got the square and I put in the width then height, it stays as a square.. I’ve checked to see what the settings say for the measurements, it is set as imperial. Do I keep it that way or metric? When I have tried to put in the same measurements in cm as it kept saying it could not make them this size last time I tried, they turned out tiny as a 6x4 as I put in the 6x4 measurements as a compromise… but that was rubbish. I am now wondering why I won’t give me the correct rectangle size.. 😩
Have you clicked the unlock button in the middle of the width and height bar? If it’s locked, and you put in a measurement on the width, it will match the height so that it keeps the square. If you unlock the padlock, you can put any measurement in and you should get a rectangle!
It printed perfectly as yours did but the cut was misaligned and it cut the outline right through my sticker packs 😬 I’m on page two now (had to come back later to finish) and I’m worried the same thing will happen again. 🤔 the only thing was I couldn’t quite line up my stickers when I resized them (iPad) (it kept highlighting the backing every time so I’d have to un select and select to re size ) Because the stickers are different sizes the smaller ones don’t align to have the cut line between the outlines. Still though, it cut the outlines through the designs, (I didn’t have two mats so I out mat 1 through again thinking it was scanning😅) I wonder if the cut was off because I didn’t realise I needed to load two mats to cut the outlines first.. anyway back to the start again 😅 I have so many to hand cut 😂
I also couldn’t find a copy and paste option for Cricut through the iPad, so I had to duplicate them. Also I couldn’t press enter either. I even connected a mouse to right click to copy and paste and couldn’t do this so il try with my laptop and hope it works
I followed your instructions. Write them out then did each step of my uploading to cricut. It’s cut the background border but not each sticker. What have I done wrong pls?? Help 😢

Hey! Are you using the iPad to do this? I’ve since found out that this just doesn’t seem to work on iPad! Only desktop version seems to work
I dont get the outline around the edge of the sticker to see where the cut lines would be. Can anyone help?
Sorry for the very slow reply! Are you using iPad? A lot of people seem to have issues when using the iPad and not desktop version!
Have you tried calibrating the machine?
Hello, yes I did and it helped so much! I’m back again to try with new paper and a new design 😊
… my bad… I just had to unlock the padlock to change the size 😂… oh I do enjoy this 😂 imperial: inches and metric: cm for anyone wanting to know 😅
Yes thank you ! I just saw your reply, thank you for being so speedy ❤ I was having a moment 😂
It printed perfectly as yours did but the cut was misaligned and it cut the outline right through my sticker packs 😬 I’m on page two now (had to come back later to finish) and I’m worried the same thing will happen again. 🤔 the only thing was I couldn’t quite line up my stickers when I resized them (iPad) (it kept highlighting the backing every time so I’d have to un select and select to re size )
Because the stickers are different sizes the smaller ones don’t align to have the cut line between the outlines.
Still though, it cut the outlines through the designs, (I didn’t have two mats so I out mat 1 through again thinking it was scanning😅)
I wonder if the cut was off because I didn’t realise I needed to load two mats to cut the outlines first..
anyway back to the start again 😅 I have so many to hand cut 😂
I also couldn’t find a copy and paste option for Cricut through the iPad, so I had to duplicate them. Also I couldn’t press enter either. I even connected a mouse to right click to copy and paste and couldn’t do this so il try with my laptop and hope it works
Yeah I’ve wasted two sticker packs just making mistakes too. It’s so frustrating
I followed your instructions. Write them out then did each step of my uploading to cricut. It’s cut the background border but not each sticker. What have I done wrong pls?? Help 😢
Hey! I’m so sorry you’re having a problem with this! When you imported the sticker layer, did you do it as a png? So that there is no white background around each sticker?
I did yes. Cannot understand where I’ve gone wrong at all
@@JoCharleston and you’ve attached the layers together? So the background and the sticker layer are attached? I’m so sorry I wish I could stop by and have a look! Can you message me on instagram and send me some screen shots? It might be something super small that’s making a difference. Also - are you doing this on desktop? Sometimes the issue is working on the app on an ipad
@@fizzandflourish yes I did Altho working cricut design space off an iPad as it doesn’t work on my chromebook.
@@JoCharleston I think the problem is working from the iPad unfortunately - I’ve had people with similar issues and all of them are using the iPad - as soon as they switch to a desktop, they’ve been successful. Unfortunately this is just something cricut needs to fix! If I was to make the video again I’d mention this, it’s just something I didn’t think of when I was filming as I always use my laptop :/
wow. this sounds so complicated. no wonder stickers sold by artists on Etsy etc costs more.
I swear i follow all the steps and it only cut the big squares and not the stickers and I don’t know why 😫
I followed all steps but it cuts only the outside border of the template and not the stickers. What am i doing wrong? 😢
You have to do it on the computer not an ipad, I learned this the hard way😂
@@katepowell8632 ah oke thank you! I will try it that way. Thanks for the best explained videos ❤️
Rather than a full on snog! Lol
Hahaha it’s a while since I made this video so I can’t even remember why I said this 🤣🤣🤣 sounds like something I’d say tho hahaha
You were making the distinction between a kiss cut and die cut. The die cut was the snog. I thought it was a fab analogy!
there are only 2 gens of Apple Pencil you have 2nd generation NOT 5th generation just so you are aware
Oh hahahaha I’ve no idea where I got 5th gen from! 😂🤦🏻♀️ thanks!
