I've seen the Fairlies in action on the Ffestiniog and the Welsh Highland and I'm surprised at how nicely the sound has been replicated. I'll be watching!
I'm surprised how small it looks in your mitts or have you got gorilla sized hands. It will certainly cause many 009 layouts to be built. Putting the track on those supposedly quick removable boards will throw a spanner in the works of that idea. I was in AGR Model Railway Store in Leighton Buzzard yesterday and they have a new section for all the new 009 stuff. I never thought to have a butchers at one of these, as I was to busy looking for a LNER type brake van

Andrew My hands are average sized, yes it's small! - track is temporarily laid, and once again I have a "cunning plan"!
