    Love to see this video! Personally I've just discovered Ran Pink's T-Rex center tear, it's the first that I've considered performing. Acidus Novus is defiinitely not a center tear though haha...maybe something got cut out in editing there. I've never liked the CT, and I like acidus for that reason, one doesn't have to illogically destroy the piece of writing. Great content, psyched for more mentalism and mindreading, and of course recommendations from Nick and Erik

      What am I missing about Jan Forster's penguin live? Nothing really caught my attention on my first watch-through. I thought it could be that I am a close-up, not a stage, mentalist, but I think I ought to give it another watch. Anything I should look out for?

    Great list!
    B'wave can be presented within this genre... I got an sense of how your mind ticks since X just came up and... weirdly enough, that matches a strange inkling I got yesterday... So as an experiment, I placed a particular set of cards in this wallet/envelope/glass etc... and I think it might just follow from what we've discovered about you today that you know something about these cards...

    Is the handling and switching of billets in "Name & Place by Bob Cassidy" difficult ?
    Can it be done by beginners ?

    • @penguinmagicshop
      @penguinmagicshop  4 месяца назад

      It can be done by beginners but it will need some practice. There is sleight of hand required but it's technically easy to do. The psychology and timing of the routine is the difficult part.

    What’s the best organic peak device or method?

    • @penguinmagicshop
      @penguinmagicshop  3 месяца назад

      That really comes down to preference. Something like Razor Wallet is pretty organic if you like the style of the wallet. Acidus Novus is pretty organic if you have a business card on you. And Psypher can be installed into a deck of cards or a pad of paper. So if you see those things as organic then that's a great choice as well

    • @penguinmagicshop
      @penguinmagicshop  4 месяца назад

      Yeah, so traditionally this is just done with the Queen of Spades. She is holding a handkerchief that looks like the Six of Spades. That's the origin of the trick.
      You are no doubt referring to the trick by Asi Wind performed on the Huberman podcast. That is an Asi Wind original. It is not available on our website but it is available on Asi Wind's website. It's called Gypsy Queen by Asi Wind.

      @@thecraft0490 Psypher is dope because it uses a Sharpie, and can be cut to size however the impressions can be soft/light. :The Informer: is super strong and can be 20 cards deep and always has a clear impression but it is not a Sharpie and can not be cut to size. I own both and use both depending on the situation.

    peek wallet in NOT a mind reading TRicK!!! Peek wallet is a tool, an utility device to get information...

    • @penguinmagicshop
      @penguinmagicshop  4 месяца назад +1

      It's a tool you can use for reading minds. Nick breaks it all down in the video. He covers specific tricks but he thought it would be more helpful to give resources (Penguin Live) and tools ( Psypher, peek wallets, book tests etc.) that could help give you a foundation for mind reading.

    • @thecraft0490

      If it makes the list I think it should be lower. A little high....when I think of REALLY good mentalists I don't think of wallets.
      Buttttt .... If they say they offer great mentalism on the tutorial then why the hell not!

  • @veganbadass
    @veganbadass 4 месяца назад

    I put the Razor wallet into the Blind Mans Wallet. You can rock 2 spectators at once if needed. I recommend buying blank business cards. They can be used for wallet peaks, Out to Lunch fx, Flame wallets and Name & Place.
