I just as I commented on another video I love Pop Haydn's work and his multiplying bottles is great with an amazing kicker joke on the end that fits his character so well. I also had a close friend who would use handkerchiefs and sponge balls to help sell the passe passe bottle better and his routine was amazing. As one final question do you know where to find some of the better bottles? The tora wine bottles look pretty good from what I can tell online but in my experience multiplying bottles gimmicks are very hit and miss.
Nick Locapo has performed weekly at the P3 magic theater and these are the tricks he used the most to close his show over the years. What would you do to close a magic show?
This video was just now recommended to me... less than a year old, and the very first "must have" trick recommended, Killer Prediciton, is apparently discontinued? Why!?
Lance Burtons flying Corvette, Copperfields 13 Illusion and Snow, Sigg Fried and Roy’s elephant vanish, and David Blaine holding his breath for 12 minutes
I hate bill in lemon! It's on Paul Daniels' "Bravura" DVDs, and he borrows a bill from a member of the audience, has it signed, tears off a corner and gives the piece back to the spectator, then (apparently) destroys the bill completely, and at the end it reappears inside a walnut inside an egg inside a lemon. The reasons I don't like it are: You borrow money and do not return it in pristine condition; it's still signed, the corner is still torn, and it's clearly bearing the marks of having been folded up, and perhaps it's even wet or gooey from the lemon juice and/or egg white. I think it's worth remembering that deliberately ruining a bill in such a manner is illegal. No matter how honestly you've come by the bill, you may own the sum that it represents, but the physical piece of paper is still government property! Perhaps you don't care, but I do. And legal or not, magic that ruins the props is not really for me.
I can respect your opinion and understand what you mean.We are all performing artist and it is up to us to create presentations that are unique to us and perform magic that is true to us.
I've written a routine for multiplying bottles that I'm a little scared to perform. I call it "Matty Mediocrity solves the opioid crisis". The patter goes on and on about all of our current technology yet somehow we still can't manufacture enough oxy for middle America, then I do the multiplying bottles bit with pill bottles. At one point I lose my train of thought and produce a rubber dove and say, "look, a bird! JUST KIDDING, IT'S OXY" as I crumble it up and a bunch of plastic pills fall everywhere 😂 I think the bit is hilarious but it even offends me a little so I'm pretty positive it's not meant for public consumption 😑
@@seanfaherty I mean... the joke is literally OPPOSITE of the chapelle bit. I was going to try to explain why, but something tells me I'll be spinning gears a bit here. "They both joked about oxy it's the same joke!".
The guy with the phone around 19:00 minutes into the video looks like US Grandmaster Fabiano Caruana. I don't think it IS him, though. (If you don't know, Fabi is like the second best chess player in the world).
This list is based on the closers Nick Locapo has used over the many years he has performed at the P3 Magic Theater. He never performed the cups and balls.
Great stuff!! You guys have just a great chemistry & so knowledgeable!! These videos are LOADED with value!!

What would you do to close a magic show?
I’ve seen every Santa Monica pier magician close with bill in lemon.
I saw a magic show in a stadium end with a confabulation kicker. That's how big it plays.
These are great videos

Lance Burton has a great multiplying bottle routine....
Yes he does 👍

Epic, maybe the top 5 of all time. Derren Brown's ENIGMA is up there, and Paul Daniel's Iron Maiden.

What cards are you using in minute 1:51, they look larger with large pips
One of my favorite closers that nobody talks about is Michael TRIXX vanishing dove cage

@@mattym4451 I just meant the humour with a bit of sass . As the man said "it's funny 'cause it's true"
Denny Haney was famous for his multiplying bottles.

Do you ship in the Philippines?
Yes, for shipping information you need to contact support@penguinmagic.com
What is the place nick bought his multiplying bottle set? I'm looking for a 3x3 bottle set.
Where is the cups and balls?
