    This small tool has many applications where precision is the main concern, I use to make small profile cuttings and using a big angle grinder gets me nowhere due to the powerful vibrations and pulls, I had no option but to assemble myself a small angle grinder out of XD-775 motor (bearing instead of bush) and a "M10 Arbor Mandrel Adapter, 5mm bore", but now that I've learned everything about this tool I can confidently buy it without any doubt. Thank you for this enlightening review.

    I use my bandsaw for trimming boxes for recycling. The throat limit is just about right to fit into the bag! That does look handy though and small enough to fit into a travelling toolbox.

    • @RussellPlatten
      @RussellPlatten  3 года назад

      I edited out the bit where I mention that I use my bandsaw to cut the cardboard. I had a little accident a few years ago when I wasn't paying attention and needed some stiches. I am wary or using it now, so cutting the cardboard with the new tool will be my preferred method! :-)

    I had it replaced twice by Bosch for the failed charging and the last one they sent also fails. All of them failed on the first charging. I do use proper cables and chargers that charge dozens of other items. Did you ever met this issue with your sample?

    • @RussellPlatten
      @RussellPlatten  3 года назад +2

      Prices vary so much and I think most people who watch reviews are interested in buying the product or something similar, so will do their own research. :-)

    Hi there, thanks for your video. I'm thinking of purchasing this to cut some laminate flooring out from a toilet and sink pedestal and to remove grout from between tiles. Would this be ok for grout removal and if so with one of the supplied blades or an extra one ? Thanks 👍

    • @RussellPlatten
      @RussellPlatten  Год назад +2

      It should work for grout removal James. I would try the carbide multi wheel for the flooring and grout. I cannot find any reference to grout removal so this is only my opinion. :-)

    Hey just found this video review, great job , thanks. I’m off to get one! Oh, and I suspect that the reason they say not to grind etc is probably to do with the guards not being ideal for those uses and Bosch’s need to avoid lawsuit risks….
