Hey Benett, I have the same set up with the Brandon Li cage and Lexar SSD and hub, and using an IPhone 15 Pro Max. What light weight power bank would you recommend to add to this combo to keep the phone powered up? Can you add an Amazon link if possible? Thanks!
Good question, actually the iPhone internal mics also prove to be a good option for recording ambient sound using the stereo option, I use it when recording nature type videos :)

The setup an appointment for me with the so called "genius" at the Apple Store. He INSISTED that I must format the external drive in a computer - never in the iPhone. Apparently he was wrong. He sent me to a document from Apple support that says the iPhone can only record to external drives of the following capacities: 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. I guess he was wrong about that too, because I clicked on your link and Lexar does make a 2TB version of this drive. So, have you (or others here) tried recording from their iPhone to the 2TB SSD? How did you get a black version of the Lexar SSD and hub? I backed the campaign and we all got silver. Black would have been a first choice for sure.
