fr aot is a classic and ushered in the new gen wave of modern shonen. its my personal favorite anime of all time so im biased but its well deserved imo. the ending isnt bad like most say/believe. it was very fitting and true to the way the series started.

If you watched cinema outside of North America i think youd appreciate the ending more. European cinema for sure has unexpected, often sad and gloomy endings, sometimes they dont even finish the narrative and make you think. Im guessing you hated Eren acting like a cry baby over Mikasa, but it made sense. It was almost as if he was two people, the attack titan AND Eren. But furthermore how would have ended it. I think it was the only logical ending. I also got into it after the series ended so maybe that changed how the ending felt for me. I didn't wait years you know@@GameFuMaster

Wolf's Rain mentioned! I remember I was in 4th or 5th grade when I saw it for the first time. It was my first non main stream anime that I watched. The theme is so nostalgic for me. I haven't heard it in years, yet it popped into my head instantly when he said Wolf's Rain. 100% Going for a long awaited rewatch. Also shoutout to the Parasyte enjoyers.

I'm so happy someone brought up Inuyasha, that show is deeper than people think it is, I rewatched it 6 times back in the day ((it got me through my breakup LOL)), then a 7th time with a friend who never saw it before, and still think there's so much to unpack, and that's not including the music, the sound effects created with traditional Japanese instruments, the artwork being based on ancient Japanese folklore, the historical references Rumiko Takahashi makes in the most subtle ways, sometimes not so subtle ways, it's just a fantastic anime, not to short, not too long, late 90s early 2000s vibe, the story is very deep, EVERY character is the main character, the show hits different, sure there are a few filler episodes I don't care for, but it holds a special place in my heart, it's a classic. For real for real.
Shoutout to the homie who said Hajime No Ippo. People don’t even consider it because it’s boxing but imo one of the greatest anime’s of all time. It has everything you want in a anime. Great story, great characters, great animation, and it’s one of the few animes were the humor really translates well to non Japanese audiences.

My boys with the SAMURAI CHAMPLOO name drop!! Nujabes stans WE OUT HERE!! Cowboy Bebop with the jazz was sick, but Samurai Champloo took it up another notch with the hip hop combo, biggest recommend. And I think DBZ was just so popular because it's a good coming of age anime for boys. All of my guy friends would sit around watching DBZ in high school, just a bunch of high testosterone fight scenes were a jam.

FLCL hype is still there somewhere but yeah, I personally don't get it and even after finishing the original I can't even give it a score on my MyAnimeList. I guess it only attracts people with taste like art people.

Someone actually mentioned Ranma 1/2! That's what got me into anime in the first place and I absolutely love it for it's humor and the crazy characters. Tried to watch the new Netflix version but I just had a problem with the new music and voice actors and I just couldn't do it.

1 - don’t know what’s going on with the story which is their fault (if you follow along and understand what’s happening its genuinely probably the most complex and unique story of all time)
2 - hate on it just cause it’s popular
3 - dislike the ending cause other people said so and now they believe
And those say the ending is bad were probably expecting it to end with everyone walking off into the sunset holding hands… what did you expect from one of the darker anime’s out there??

The Eldian sympathizers in Marley were sympathetic to NON Island Eldians, but wanted the Walldians to be extinct. Those were last hope Eren had.
Marley LITERALLY came over twice to LITERALLY exterminate them all. 2nd time with the rest of the world. Fully commited to that plan.
Eldians were treated much worse in the other parts of the world than in Marley.
So no, it wasn't "just 5% of the world causing his hatred."
The ending was dumb, inspired by basic popcorn superhero superficial tropes. The phenomenal writing of the previous 99% of the story thrown out with hammy out-of-character writing for multiple characters.
@steakovercake3986 Bro, that scene they are peaceful in the village was just a fraction of second in the real world. Eren talked to all his friends before (or in the middle of) the Rumbling in that space where there is no time, but made then forget everything and only remember when the Rumbling was done. That scene is just how Eren and Mikasa wanted things to happen if they didn't live in a shitty world, nothing but a fantasy they lived for a while in that fake world where time does not pass.

AOt sit in a weird place for me, animation, art voice acting are top of the top, then the story is very good. then there are all those useless flashbacks, they made cringe so hard. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but hell, don't take me for a total morron, i know what happened it was 3 episodes ago...
Same story less spoonfed, more subtle in the story telling, and it would have a total banger competing with the greatests. But as of...unfinishable.

@@ShesBats its more of the vast version of cardcaptors, TRC is multiversal set with lots of plot twists, put simply, there are a lot of universes like the multiverse, so there are a lot of variants across the multiverse and the characters in cardcaptors are just one of such variants among the many universes shown in TRC, the main character is Syaoran and the FL is Sakura, these 2 are different Syaoran and Sakura from CCS, also the series is connected to xxxHolic as they are both crossover

I'd never heard of Tsubasa before but I do remember Cardcaptors from my early school days. I'm intrigued how they could use the same characters if it's a different story though.
Everytime I see pokimane anywhere i swear I feel like her personality is so fake or forced i just find it hard to believe that, thats her actual way of speaking and such.

For underrated, I’d say YuYu- Hakusho. 112 episodes of perfection and one of the very very few anime’s where the dub is just as good as sub or even better. Sasuke was based on hiei which is a character from Hakusho. All the fights are good, good love story, good humor, amazing character development. Just a masterpiece
Yu yu hakusho is not underrated, it's just old that people who started to watch anime recently don't know about it 😅 it was famous among 90s~early y2k kids

- Rage of Bahamut: Genesis (hidden gem from MAPPA)
- Brave Bang Bravern!
- Haibane Renmei
- Magi (How did this not get a S3?!)
- Summer Time Rendering
- Bungo Stray Dogs (Fairly well known, but not as popular as it should be)
- Higurashi: When They Cry
- Orb: On the Movement of the Earth (Airing now on Netflix)
- From the New World
- Aoashi (Blue Lock, but with animation)
- Dead Mount Death Play (The manga is amazing, anime's animation can't keep up with the great story though)
- Re:CREATORS (Definitely deserves more hype than it got buried on Prime)
There's plenty more, but these are some that I feel get overlooked, don't get enough praise, or got attention when they aired but were quickly forgotten.
To the guy who said Gintama, you get it. Hands down, Gintama is the best anime ever, but it's like a secret.😅 Gintama is basically a life mode.
To the guy who mentioned Nana, facts. It is by far one of the most layered animes ever.😊Honey and Clover, Clannad, and YuYu Hakusho...so many amazing animes.

As a car guy, you have no idea how much I appreciate Initial D, Wangun Midnight, MF Ghost, etc. They're better than pretty much any car movie or tv show you'll find...and certainly more realistic (for the most part, anyway).

@@hugob8180 Sure, but One Piece isn't dragged out. There is just so much to it. So much unknown. So much to theorise about. As long as you read the manga, you cannot say it's dragged out; anime just suffers pacing issues.
Garden of Sinners dude has some good taste in favourite anime. Fire Force is a matter of taste. It has a good pacing and somewhat interesting plot that later ties in into Soul Eater. As for OP I can see where he is coming from as I'm slowly getting tired of it too, mostly because there is recently so much happening at different places and is setting up for a big war. So my reason is closer to burnout.

Any person who comments "too long" for One Piece or Naruto and other long shows should NEVER be taken seriously. That's not an argument, it's an excuse.
It's long because it's popular, because people liked it and therefore wanted more so they kept going.
