I called Apple tech support and they took over an hr and transferred me from one rep to another and erased everything and they couldn’t help me reinstall and now I am left with two useless expensive computers from Apple both which I paid $1500 each. I should have seen this video and I could have done the factory reset myself.
Great video, I used it to sell a mac on eBay. One thing you didn't mention was how to SAFELY SHUT DOWN your computer from the welcome screen; to do this press COMMAND + Q.

This is the clearest concise tutorial that I've found on YT. Your images are even the best. I really like the option where you tell your audience to hold certain keys if you are going to keep the mac or give it to someone or sell it; that wasn't included in tutorials by others on YT. Good job!
