    Hopefully the next balance patch buffs Maglans to 15 men

    8:56 Maybe put Bedouins in Bardelas? Quicker and more useful for the same point. And saves the truck for Maglan is Anafa is considered not necessary.

      I would never put Maglans in a 5pt truck. With 5HP and no armour there will be no survivors if the truck gets popped.

    • @ecpgieicg
      @ecpgieicg 3 года назад

      @@RazzmannWG Usually there is one or two maglan at open? They don't get popped. Could be a team game vs 1v1 thing. I don't find myself being able to maneuver Maglan aggressively in team games due to high saturation of recon and mortar fire. And for that, Maglan needs safe zone free of enemy recon for retreat which for me becomes Maglan residing in areas I control which in turn mean safe route to such areas. And also more need to use Maglan instead of Dorban. (Ppl spam mortar at spike locations -- when Maglan will survive with ~2hp, Dorban will die.) Nun-nun is only a problem because it requires roads. And so there are sufficient needs for (cheap) Maglan to justify a card -- much more than the need for sneak around in Anafa. Again, seems a team vs 1v1 thing.

    No Nimrod? I find it very useful. Pretty fast, survivable, has extremely strong ATGMs. It can easily deal even with wheeled AA in the opener since Nimrods ATGMs are pretty fast and accurate and in late game they can be your mobile ATGM platform that can one shot some light/medium tanks. I usually take it as a transport for my Maglans. In my opinion its only weakness is that it's big and expensive.

    • @RazzmannWG
      @RazzmannWG  3 года назад +1

      No Nimrod because "on average" I would not suggest using it due to having to sacrifice a Maglan or Shayetet / infantry tab slot. Also because this is no proper Israel guide.

    • @ecpgieicg
      @ecpgieicg 3 года назад +4

      The reason against Nimrod is exactly in what you said: *in late game* . So when you need Maglan before that, it is a huge point drain for no reason. And when you finally need Nimrod in those niche situations that you need it, you dont necessary need the 35pt worth of Maglan. And that's not to mention the potential need to unload Maglan first to reduce risk and for such price it doesn't have a good rapid reaction ability; or you dont unload Maglan and back to the point of being overpriced. Outside team game destruction and in those few maps featuring rivers dividing mid line (without which you wont get *omni* directional clearance of 2900m -- AA side shot and such), do you _really_ find situations where Nimrod solves a problem other options can't or do you just find situations and insert Nimrod?

    I personally like base rovait in the Achzarit and use them as a decent counter to the Jaakari+KT spam and in general they are good for forest grinds against the typical 20 rpm line inf like rifleman many people use

    • @ecpgieicg
      @ecpgieicg 3 года назад +1

      Against line inf in forest grind, Merkava is much better. Line inf can't pen them and get stunned rapidly in return. And that includes Jaakari 90. Also there is no points being saved here because there is no substittue of Achzarit over Merkava. For a meaningful flank, Merkava 2a or 3a is a must: least you get bogged down by mere line inf and obviously prolonged engagement is highly problematic (bombers, reinforcement etc). But Achzarit could be good to soak Panssarijakkari's Apilas shot. Takes 2 shots to the front for 15pt. Niche but potentially check the only opponent that can out grind Israel inside forest. It's even faster than Zelda. So goes to the front by itself. Definitely good to think about.

      @michaelthayer5351 3 года назад +2

      @@ecpgieicg Merkava is better but is also more expensive and less availability, my personal preference for my israeli inf tab is barkans, 2 cards of rovait-90 in zeldas, rovait-90 in the Merkava, and one card of base rovait in the achzarit, it fits how I play and I've had success with it.

    • @ecpgieicg
      @ecpgieicg 3 года назад

      @@michaelthayer5351 I tried Achzarit yesterday. I struggled to make use of it beyond cherry-on-the-cake. It seems very particular for forest fight against apilas. For me, I find Sheyete necessary for its high AP and high speed. Besides forest fight against possible tanks, I do seize early spots from time to time, hence not wasting the pt in Humvee -- _followed_ by a systematic push as opposed to always systematic push with all units going from the same line. Also I use a card of givati. In team games, it's pretty necessary. Still, 5th card can be Achzarit or barkan or Dorban. And that's how I get to try it.

    Big mistake dropping the RAM TCM recon. The meta is not to use it as an AA but as recon to spot hidden VMF, Recce etc recon squads spotting your shit. IIRC it has a continuous magazine so it doesn't reload until it's out of ammo. Its capacity to obliterate infantry is under appreciated.

    • @RazzmannWG
      @RazzmannWG  3 года назад +1

      Great and all, but it costs 45 pts, dies to a sneeze and has only 1050m ground range. Recon vehicles don't just need to kill infantry, but other recon vehicles too.

    • @ecpgieicg
      @ecpgieicg 3 года назад

      I used the recon TCM a couple times. Not sure about TCM passively spotting. It will be sniped by mortar. It's more just something that _can_ move with your tanks (like the recon T-55) but otherwise fulfill the AA role.
      I basically considered it a point drain in order to field a tube artillery piece. But dother is so niche it's not overall worth it. More for the fun of it.
