I think you forget that the Israeli combat unit have a very different objective. In Israel most wars aren't fought on open fields, but around buildings and on the streets
I love the Achzarit transports for my infantry. Sure you can field less infantry if you use them but I find that being able to hide your infantry in them during a artillery barrage is well world it, not to mention the increased survivability reduces the panic your infantry feel compared to 5 point transports that die if they are sneezed at then cause your shitty line infantry to become useless. It is nice since they tend to stick around longer and you can build up a large force of them to act as a shield for your expensive tanks. you can put elite infantry into the transports to more safely deliver them into towns. They are more forgiving to use compared to motorized forces.
vehicles considered as transports by units in the infantry tab are shown in the armory in the vehicle tab, even if it's a tank, also most vehicles that use ATGMS as their primary weapon are put in the vehicle tab

But the must annoying thing, ISRAEL NEVER USED FFAR ON CHOPPERS!
I remember seeing a series of end game result screenshots where a guy just used a few of his HVMS to destroy some REDFOR ships. Got an Udaloy as well because lmao
