To be fair, Lafayette is best known in the US for what he did for the US in the Revolutionary War, so it's easy to see the confusion.
And France has bought some us Destroyers before, just not corvettes, still could be confusing though

You should play the Ash and Shadows Mod, gives you a lot more firepower. Like, a lot. JDAMs, tactical ICBMs, and even a suicide truck called a "Glory Wagon."

Just bought this game last night. I get the feeling a satire-heavy video isn't the best place to start learning it, but here I am. Cheers!
4 years later how did it go?
The main flaw I have found is actually a major armour warfare inability where there's no defensive smoke deployment ability from armoured vehicles, we have planes capable of deploying flares and chaffs, we have artillery that can deploy smoke rounds but none on any armored vehicles.
It's nice to see that you were helping to balance things out by using a gimped Eurocorps deck.
To be fair though, first world countries tend to have similar stats for their ships. Everyone is spamming missiles and active defensive countermeasures rather than cannons and armor
A single T-34 is more than enough for American stealth bombers.
well we tried, and i would say it worked, but... after 30 seconds of attacking vale we had lost 50% of our tanks

As a player of wargame for awhile, seeing attention given to this dead game is really nice, I hope people play this cance- game to give it the attention it really deserves

I looked up best Wargames on Google. This was one of them so I took a chance and downloaded it. Too bad I came when the game is dying I love this game even more so than R.U.S.E didn't think that was Possible.

Yugoslavia have no weakness like other nations. Even Israel has relatively shitty infantry (They're the next most op in much of the community's eyes) .
@@Reddsoldier I wouldn't say that Yugo has no weakness. Its more of the fact that they have a lot of various things going for them that covers over their weaknesses fairly well. For example, they have a terrible Heli arsenal, no access to SEAD (unless you choose Entente), a limited selection of Aircraft (a few very good options), and barring the goddamn stealth tank known as the M-84AN, their recon tab is fairly meh. I would say they arguably have the best (SEAD-immune) Anti-Aircraft available in the game but its often hard to justify the cost in 1v1s. Their infantry tab is quite good, though infantry battles are more often than not won through support fire, which they lack in anything spectacular. Their tank tab is pretty good, with M-84As being in a sweet spot for cost-to-power if I remember correctly.
Don't get me wrong, I'd say that Yugo is definitely up there in terms of factions. I just wouldn't say they have no weaknesses.

@@XthorgoldX Well, doesn't fighter imply air-to-air? I'd call it a strike bomber. I would not field a Nighthawk against a fucking Mig-25 or Su-27-- or ANYTHING fixed-wing, for that matter! Top speed of Mach .8, etc.

Okay, so the A-10 is called an attack aircraft, or close-air-support. I think that's far more appropriate. "Strike fighter" is fast shit like the FA-18 and F-15.

at the start of the game, if you put your helicopters over forrests, they start the game airborne, saving precious time as the don't need to start from the ground and are instantly able to move.

Well, technically just the Korean War, since it's still technically ongoing. We signed an armistice, not a peace.
A German-French military alliance is gonna kick the crap out of Korea? Not too likely. I'm a german myself and I can tell you that our military is not doing too hot right now. Like, the management genuinely is just being tricked by the companies who produce the goddam stuff, only one out of three new tanks is actually ready for action and the tanks are pretty much the department tthat is still doing kind of decent. The Helicopters are just a desaster, a few years ago we had issues with the H&K G36 being complete and utter shite in warm regions or when in rapid fire mode (not only did the accuracy suffer badly but also certain plastic parts started to melt....) and the Bundeswehr is having a major staff crisis because they are so widely unpopular (and because every few months there's another scandal because it turns out that one of the few groups of people who are still interested in military service are literal nazis....).
France would have to do some heavy lifting in that kinda war and we all know how that tends to go...
@@darthplagueis13 im german too and can confirm, i actually live in the region where theyre training fighter planes and theres one. only one. they arent even technically allowed to fly alone, but thats all we even have. our military is atrocious

Darthplagueis13 To be fair though, war is usually more of a contest of economies than it is a contest of initial standing army size. It might take a little longer for you guys to get going compared to world powers like the US or Russia, but the degree to which the EU’s economy eclipses that of North Korea would probably result in the country being metaphorically suplexed.
