This was super useful! I didn't know that by doubling up squads they could use the AT and MG at once. I was tripling up a lot of my squads, but now I've dropped most of them down to pairs and they're working better! Also, really helped me understand LOS a little better.
Wish they would add more campaigns. Love the United Nations campaigns

What are the differences between the three games? I’ve played BA and it was a blast! I have watched videos on WARNO and Wargame. They both look very similar. Which one is the better game and why? Thanks guys.
@@Its_Steeeve Warno is more in line with Eugen's other RTS Steel Division series. The main difference is the Division system in Warno and SD when building a deck. You only get units from the irl division you chose when building a deck. But in WG:RD you can create national or coalition decks with almost any unit from your chosen nation in the game. And since you played Broken Arrow you know it has modern settings and has unit customization options as opposed to the Cold War settings and limited customization options in the other two.
@@republic0_032 Thank you. So it sounds like WG:RD you have a bit more room for customization. I’m still very new to RTS games so I’m not quite sure about deck building. I’ll have to check out more tutorial videos. Thanks again.

I don't understand your comment. You mean resupply and come back orders for logistics vehicles?
@@Stealth17Gaming You leave supply vehicles empty so often, you talk about managing things, but you always leave them. My guys have run out of missiles yea and the truck is empty for 5 mins sitting right next to him!

Heli CV can be useful in some rare occasions to contest a zone during a push and prevent enemy spawn... but not in your home base

Would like to have heard your thoughts on what units he could have picked at the start that would have been the perfect counter to your choice of starting units. Looks to me like a Chapparral, M1IP, 2xBradleysA2s with 90 infantry, Kiowa, 2 lots of 2 riflemen in M1113s, a bit of personal preference fire support like M8 AGS or Comvats or Ontos, some truck Rangers and some Light Infantry with Dragons to sit on the flank would've caused you a bit of trouble.
I know you kinda explain which units would have been better choices at certain points in time but an overview would have been really helpful for newer players I think

this is the hardest RTS i have ever played, but the most entertaining
I get the dislike for CV Helis. But they do have two uses. One of them being the fast mobility and ability to go over tough terrain. But this is usually best done with a Inf CV in a helicopter. Though the CV heli does give a quicker evac time. So it's kind of iffy with this.
But the reason I use them a lot. Mostly in tactical games. Is cause of those optics. If you're playing with teammates and your team has plenty of CV's, then I will often use the CV as a recon heli. Since I am forced to have a CV, might as well get a free recon heli.
This one might be more situational as well. But Napalm is your friend. It can work as a direct bombing source. But I often like to use Napalm to block off enemies. Like napalming a road where light armored vehicles will likely go at the start, or to block off advancing enemy infantry. I have manage to get kills quite often by people not expecting it.
Depending if you like to use arty. But I recommend having your arty fairly close to the frontlines. Increasing the accuracy and the shell travel time is reduced considerably. Just remember to keep an eye on your situation and have a supply heli or truck to ferry supplies from the FOB to the artillery.
I don't use it too much. But I also highly recommend that if you use Artillery, then make sure if as close to the frontlines as the firing arc will allow. MLRS fired from the base tends to be nothing more then a way to stun the enemy or maybe get lucky and get some kills. But the true value is being close to the frontlines. A simple 65pt Russian HE MLRS can decimate most things. You are pretty accurate at a range of like 3800m. I like to use double stacks at least. And I have managed to kill Super-heavies fairly easy. They cant do much since they get stunned constantly, but once you fire them make sure to move the trucks as fast as possible.
Please don't be the one dude in 10v10s who sits in the back of the map firing MLRS and barely scoring any kills in the game. Also don't fire near your FOB.
I disagree with the artillery part. It has an extremely long range precisely because it's meant to stun, not kill. Of course, kills are nice and all, but stunning things means that they're sitting completely still and defenseless, it's a very handy little opportunity to capitalize on.
Heli cv can be useful in extremely niche circumstances. I once used one in a 10v10, and it survived in a zone where the arty spam was so bad a 3 top armor tank cv couldn't even survive. I stuck it behind a 1k meter forest, and they bombarded the forest because that was where the last three were. Forest was too thick for recon to spot through, I put it in the deck just for shits and giggles, but it ended up saving our asses. Flares were popping up all over the zone, are you nuts, fuckin noob etc. 5 minutes after it landed, I popped one that read "you were saying?" It was great. Never used helo cv again after that.

Sorry guys, very new to RTS gaming. I’ve been watching videos on Wargame and WARNO. They look very similar, and I haven’t really seen a difference. Can someone with experience in both games or in either game please explain to me the difference? Or what game may be more suitable for me.

Best tip for a noob, is to only bring artillery, and a ton of fobs. Maybe 1 recon if you are feeling like it. This is never an obnoxious playstyle and works 100%.
