300 PRC 1000 Yards 5 Consecutive Hits

  • Hey guys here's the next video for the last challenge I setup for myself since the 1000 yard cold bore shot with the 300 PRC. This time I wanted to figure out if I could actually make five (5) consecutive hits at 1000 yards. I know I can hit the target but getting it back to back sometimes is indeed a challenge for me. I figured I'd take my time, concentrate on my position, basics and do a proper follow through. Basically a checklist on my mind of the basic principles or long range shooting before I let a shot go. I wanted to see how much change it would actually make rather than rushing shots downrange because the "wind" died down. And it actually worked! This is the first time I have 5 consecutive hits and moved on to the smaller target after that. Thanks! Enjoy!

Get the hell out of here that’s sick!! Although it’s scary to think about all the good snipers on the other side

Nice! There is a club that has 1000yds cold bore challenge, only 1 shot & closest to X has bragging rights.

@@lrnewbronnie8849 Not F Class. You can shoot anything you want except 50 BMG. They shoot once a month, they have a practice session on Sat and Match on Sun that is timed. Targets range from 200 to 1000. I have only gone to practice sessions.

Good luck with the 2k yard challange.... I think you got it covered. You have the gun, bullet, practice down pat, good shooting position. Good luck, and just have fun!

Respectable. What was your windage? Were you adjusting or just holding same for each shot? I would estimate 7mph L-R with some let offs and some tailwind changes.

Great shooting but what exactly were you trying to prove? That you can consecutively hit 1000 yards or the gun can? Little confused cause any 300 rifle can reach that and further

Im a PRS competitor. And im gonna state for the record that 5 consecutive hits, with any caliber at 1000 yards is a very impressive achievement. But its ESPECIALLY impressive with a heavy recoiling caliber, like 300 prc. Excellent shooting, sir.
