  • Here we go! We had an opportunity to pass the 5 in a row hits at 1000. Not only did we try to do ten consecutive (back to back) hits, we also tried to keep them as "center line" as possible to see how consistent we can be. I believe shots 2,5,7 and 8 was a few inches higher but the rest were center.

What's really impressive past the fact you got 10 consecutive hits on plate at 1000 is you hot 10 hits with your barrel having to have been stupid hot after shot 4 or 5 and I know things like a hot barrel affects bullet placement especially out at 1000

Hey thanks! Yeah, they have great rifles and customer service is superb. Just starting to learn reloading. Covid set me back 2 years with powder and other stuff. At the moment Hornady's 225gr eldms are producing sub moa. SD is not so great but that's what I used here.

only thing i would say is load the mag up saves you coming off the gun a bit more often.

@@lrnewbronnie8849 repetition on loading the mag. Think of the full metal jacket scene without the crazy guy 😅 “Seven… six… two… millimeter”
bench rest shooters load one round at a time because they can afford to since the gun is held for them. The way we shoot (as men should) keeping consistently on the gun while grouping will tighten it up and you can see what you’re doing wrong. If you have a new position each time something small could be off and you wouldn’t know. Nice shooting though, i’m looking forward to my 300PRC sometime this year

Hey Ronnie cmon out to North East Texas Tactical in Kaufman. Stretch the legs a bit out to 1 mile and spot your impacts on camera. I also run a 300prc built by Alamo. We will talk you into reloading for even greater accuracy. I'm not affiliated with NETT that's just my home range. Good shooting

Running the bolt with your support hand is a bad idea. It forces you to break your position after every single shot.

I started using the hellfire match and couldn’t be happier, also how do you like the Hawkins dbm? Any feeding issues? Good quality? I measure most against badger ordnance lol

The brake really helps. I tried comparing how my shoulder feels with or without it. However, apologize in advance to the shooters on your left and right... they will most definitely notice it. As far as dbm goes, it's pretty much the same as other brands. I couldn't tell which I would prefer.

Need to learn to reload for that beast. Your groups will get much tighter
One thing is your cheek weld keeps moving when down on the rifle. Watch your lip and the brown spot on your stock after your reload your position moves ever so small but it shows up on the target
