- Here we go! We had an opportunity to pass the 5 in a row hits at 1000. Not only did we try to do ten consecutive (back to back) hits, we also tried to keep them as "center line" as possible to see how consistent we can be. I believe shots 2,5,7 and 8 was a few inches higher but the rest were center.
Nice shootin. Love my .300 prc
Good shooting! Beautiful rifle.
Thank you!
NICE!
Thank you!
Nice brother real nice. I just purchased a new 300 prc.
What's really impressive past the fact you got 10 consecutive hits on plate at 1000 is you hot 10 hits with your barrel having to have been stupid hot after shot 4 or 5 and I know things like a hot barrel affects bullet placement especially out at 1000
Thank you. Not a lot of people know some of these variables we have to consider! 😉
True words there and the further out you go the more the list of variables to consider grow more and more.
If you wanna get into long range shooting seriously then my advice is to check out so m e vids from Mark and Sam after work. They are brilliant people lots of info and really detailed how to info
How does this only have 11 likes smdh nice work 😎👍
Very Nice job 👍👍👍👍👍.
Beautiful rig! I’ve heard great these about Alamo Precision. First time viewing your channel. Any interest in reloading?
Hey thanks! Yeah, they have great rifles and customer service is superb. Just starting to learn reloading. Covid set me back 2 years with powder and other stuff. At the moment Hornady's 225gr eldms are producing sub moa. SD is not so great but that's what I used here.
only thing i would say is load the mag up saves you coming off the gun a bit more often.
I know. I unknowingly do this often. Gotta cure it!
@@lrnewbronnie8849 repetition on loading the mag. Think of the full metal jacket scene without the crazy guy 😅 “Seven… six… two… millimeter”
bench rest shooters load one round at a time because they can afford to since the gun is held for them. The way we shoot (as men should) keeping consistently on the gun while grouping will tighten it up and you can see what you’re doing wrong. If you have a new position each time something small could be off and you wouldn’t know. Nice shooting though, i’m looking forward to my 300PRC sometime this year
Is that with factory ammo?
Yes, hornady 225gr ELDMs
@@lrnewbronnie8849 shit dude. Well done!
@@anubis3134 thank you! Sometimes I get lucky!
Love your videos! Can i ask what NightForce scope you are using?
Thanks! I am using a NF ATACR F1(ffp) 5-25X
Hey Ronnie cmon out to North East Texas Tactical in Kaufman. Stretch the legs a bit out to 1 mile and spot your impacts on camera. I also run a 300prc built by Alamo. We will talk you into reloading for even greater accuracy. I'm not affiliated with NETT that's just my home range. Good shooting
Hey Larry! Thanks and I would love to someday! I've seen their channel here on YT! Beautiful range!!
What kind of scope?
It's a nightforce ATACR F1 5-25X
Running the bolt with your support hand is a bad idea. It forces you to break your position after every single shot.
Yeah lefty prob. I'm even slower on a left handed model.
@@lrnewbronnie8849 maybe not perfect but I’d say you shot exceptionally well. Nice work! Beautiful setup!
Nice work! What are the specs?
Bartlein Heavy Varmint 28" 1-9
5/8x24 Thread
Area 419 sidewinder muzzle break
Deviant Tactical Receiver
Defiance Bolt Knob and fluting
Hawkins DBM bottom metal
Jewel Trigger
Defiance 20moa rail
Vortex PMR scope rings
Defiance recoil lug
Mcmillan z-10 stock
Nightforce ATACR ffp 5-25x
Sorry took me a day to reply
@@lrnewbronnie8849 hey no worries man. That’s a sweet setup and congratulations on the hits at 1000 .. how do you like that sidewinder? I started using the hellfire match and couldn’t be happier, also how do you like the Hawkins dbm? Any feeding issues? Good quality? I measure most against badger ordnance lol
The brake really helps. I tried comparing how my shoulder feels with or without it. However, apologize in advance to the shooters on your left and right... they will most definitely notice it. As far as dbm goes, it's pretty much the same as other brands. I couldn't tell which I would prefer.
Excellent shooting and content, I’d like to see more!
Do you have the area 419 suppressor that goes with that brake? If so how does it effect your shooting?
@LandoCallBackesian
Thanks! Hopefully, as soon as spring comes, I can do more stuff.
I actually just got a Banish 30 for it this month and haven't tried it suppressed yet. I reckon that specific can will reduce recoil as well.
What’s the average group at 100yrds with that factory ammo?
If I do my part I get half moa easy with 5 shots.
is that the area419 break? if so what model
Yes. It's a 419 Sidewinder
What kind of rifle are you shooting?
it's an APR (Alamo Precision Rifles) build
Need to learn to reload for that beast. Your groups will get much tighter
One thing is your cheek weld keeps moving when down on the rifle. Watch your lip and the brown spot on your stock after your reload your position moves ever so small but it shows up on the target
Will watch out for that next time out! TY. And yes looking forward to learn as soon as I find powder. 😊
@@lrnewbronnie8849 how big is the target
Go to Sniper`s Hide and join in and learn
@Chris Martinez I did, took their class in September. This was taken a day before the weekend class with Marc and Frank. 2moa I believe, or just shy of about 18 inches.
@@lrnewbronnie8849 once you start reloading you'll never go back to store bought.
How big is the target
I believe it's 16 or 18 inches
Poor barrel……
