I haven’t had any issues. It has so many features so I’m still trying to learn them all. Hands free driving on the highway, free OTA updates and the face connect entry are my favorite features. The warranty quells any concerns I have about maintenance. Also great that they pickup from my home and will provide a loaner for the first 3 years. I can’t think of anything else I would need on this car.

The copper is lovely, the white color looks great as well. Looks way better than the Jelly Bean model Y for sure.. the base model for GV60 would do just fine. 😅🎉
My son has the GV 60 Performance and loves it. I have a Model Y and prefer the Y but really like the GV 60. I've had my Y for 3.5 years and still love the acceleration.

The copper color is not new and the massaging seats are on the performance trim. I believe it’s called ergo motion. Another thing I wish you would have mentioned is the highway driving assist. It was actually updated with lane change assistance in the 2024 model!
i have a Tesla Model Y and have two comments. 1. You never get tired of the fast 0-6, its always fun no matter how many times you experience it. 2. I think this GV60 is going to be my next car. So many cool features and the size is right, pricing may be an issue though
I also don't think that 0 to 60 will get old, I mean no one says that about a Mustang or a Camaro or even a Dodge Challenger, all of which are slower than this Genesis.
Great review. Love your energy. I agree the grey wheel cladding is so much better than black - sadly I don’t think it works very well with the copper colour. LED projecting reverse lights- puts dotted lines on the road when reversing. I’ve had the UK Premium RWD version 18 months and that Nappa leather is robust and easy to keep clean. Mine is still in mint condition! That rectangular “charging accessories” case is the exterior Vehicle To Load adapter. I agree the ergonomics is fantastic- everything is nicely placed and easy to operate- loads of buttons, knobs, levers, dials and haptic buttons- the right controller for the right operation. And virtually all that silver is luxurious feeling solid or fascia metal only a few pieces are silver coloured plastic. A family of four into camping might struggle with the 432L boot space but if you don’t need a cavernous boot it really is a compelling choice for a luxurious, practical, performance family car. The 4.515m length is some 16.5 cm shorter than the EV6 - great for UK city parking spaces. It’s a great car. PS. It does have drivers side undulating/massage seats.
I have the GV60 Performance. Also give 3 year free Electrify America charging. Worth it’s money in gold. Great, quirky style beautiful interior and not like every other EV on the road. And, the GV 60 fits a full size bike In the back with the seat folded down. No need to take off front wheel- that was one of the main reason for buying it. Genesis is growing because of build quality, five year warranty, Immediate buy down of $7,500 off retail price (only on a lease), additional incentives for (ex) military. AMEX card member and so much more. 0-60 is incredible with Boost mode or just regular eco or comfort mode. B&O sound system, display. Totally worth it. Range anxiety is a matter of need vs psychological concern. It’s a heck of a car for the money!
I’m a huge Genesis fan! currently own a G70 3.3 sport.. their designs are just outstanding and would seriously consider this in a few more years when the EV buzz has calmed down and pricing comes back to reality

Yah you’re right. In 10 years time for the car, 20 for the charging station network. The momentum and investment is too advanced for the EV’s now for the industry to invest in hydrogen technology for short term results. In the meantime, you still have to buy cars !
@@chap7360Uoure being generous. There isn’t a SINGLE Hydrogen fueling station in the US. It is more like 50-100 years before the charging infrastructure is built, if at all considering nobody wants to buy a Hydrogen car.
Great review. Very fair like all your reviews Jo. I own these wheels 2023 model for more than a year. Love it. Occasionally drove Mercedes, Audis, BMWs in the past year. Always so happy to get back to the GV-60. Those German brands are behind now and more expensive. By the way my car has the massage function in the driver’s seat that I use all the time. After 1 1/2 year, the white interior and steering wheel are still immaculate white without special care and my wife that eats all the time in the car. In the first month you use the boost button because it’s so much fun. After you use it when you need it and nobody would take it away from me. From a stop sign or red light I am always the first upfront which gives me all options for whatever lane changes I need or want. As far as the range, it’s a non-issue for me as I charge from home 99% of the time. Much better than having to go find a gas station every week, sometimes wait in line, go out of the car, freeze your balls while filling up, wait for the receipt, etc… I have only 1 complaint about that car…the turning radius could be better !
I have a 2023 Genesis GV 60 performance in Copper so it is not a new color for 2024. It is so nice, how did I ever live without the technology in this thing? Also, this car does have massage seats for the driver.
I am still driving an FX35, copper-colored by the way…and am about to go for a GV60. Stunningly however, Genesis Europe has discontinued the Atacama Copper in 2024 so will have to satisfy myself with another color - probably the Mint. I do love the looks, but will surely miss the Copper!

Car manufacturers are gonna have to find a way to give their electric vehicles a longer range. Buyers won't be satisfied until it's at least at a 400 mile range. They're also not practical when it comes to traveling long distances. Hopefully we'll see that one day. Your reviews are the best!
I have been driving an ev since 2017…….i started with a fiat 500e…..nice little car…….but not enough range……i now have my LRMY……it has 330 mile range….. that is more than enough…….if you can find an EV with at least 250 miles…..you should be ok……most people don’t need 400 miles….. this is a nice looking car….you can get away with 235 range…..but i would prefer a little more…….most of us don’t take road trips. I have😮 only taken one with my model Y…..& it was great……stopped at the supercharger with no problem…..miami to Orlando cost me $15 down & $25 back…..simply because the cost of the superchargers vary with time…..but $40 round trip is pretty good!!!
I have a 2022 Tesla model 3 long range and I just replaced my wife’s car last week with a 2024 GV60 performance. Even though the range of the GV60 is around 220 miles, the interior quality and ride runs laps around every Tesla I’ve been in. For her to go to work and run errands the range is just fine. We have two wall chargers at home so we don’t really worry about range. We tried a 350 kw electrify America charger and it’s super quick. If they start making 300+ mile range genesis models, I may have to reevaluate my Tesla because the quality of Genesis is pretty impeccable.
Looks great on the outside. I wish it had more range with the 21 inch wheels. For that money Drive-by-wire would be nice. Sorry about the Jordans. It's a beautiful package and I think priced about right for the unique design.
The GV60, Kia EV6 and ionic 5 are all roughly the same size, but have different characteristics. I drove all of them. GV60 was the most luxurious of the 3. Heated/ventilated seats with a lumbar massager was nice. My problem was, they were all relatively small. Superior to the Tesla Model 3, but roughly equal to or on par with Model Y. Now, the market is making superior cars to the Model Y such as Fisker Ocean, Polestar 2, Volvo Recharge, Cadillac Lyric, Chevy Blazer and getting them to you around $40,000 - $80,000. I like the GV60 but I'd never buy one. My first EV was the Cadillac Lyriq AWD Luxury 3. I'm LOVING IT.
Hyundai is really putting out some great products in EV. I love the FACEID scanner entry. I love the seats. Hopefully the driver AND passenger will both get the Ergo motion seat as well as ventilation and heating.
Looks really nice. I'll go with the larger wheels for a few less miles. Good luck keeping that white steering wheel clean. $10,000 less would be better
Reminds me of the mistake Master's EV that failed from day 1 because it only had less than 200 miles range when charged up 100%. Genesis could capture a market share if it can come up with minimum 15% more range

It’s not just the 0-60, it’s the rolling acceleration too. Instant torque no downshift or lag.
