A lovely move. The walking works quite well taking one step per beat instead of two steps per beat, making it a nice stroll.
    Thanks for the great tuition.

Hi Martin, you are spot on.. two steps per beat is quite quick.. though it feels nice to slower tunes. I use a single step per beat on tunes faster than lesson speed and also when I teach the move in class, the extra time gives students a chance to get the technique and shapes right so they can do it well if they do speed it up. Thank you for the feedback. Best wishes, Nelson

Super move which I really like, but which looks quite difficult. Very nicely demonstrated and clearly explained. Some important footwork in there too, which is good practice for those of us who find footwork extremely challenging!😂 Looking forward to testing this out on the dancefloor. PS thanks for the safety warning, it's so important to avoid hitting each other!

Glad you like it. It is quite tricky at full speed, at least to start with I would advise taking a single step per beat, you can always speed up later when you have a feel for it. We'll show some other moves this turn can be used in fairly soon. Happy Dancing, Nelson

I love this move! Didn't know you could use tandem turns in Modern Jive. Have to go see if I can make this work now and use it in all my walks if it does. Thank you World Of Floorcraft.

You are spot on.. in other dances this movement is called a Tandem Turn. Lots of different names for things once you start looking around. As for using it in other walks we will show you some tricks in upcoming videos to help with that.. this one was published first because I think it's the easiest of the family to learn and so the best place to get some experience before trying the others. Thanks for the feedback David.
