This man right here, one of the biggest reasons I have become of a fan of beatboxing, everything from his looks, his composition, his presence, it's just so unique and magical.
I watched this when it first came out 2 years ago! 2 years later and every month in between I always come back to this video, to me, this was my favorite performance by far. Perfect in every aspect.
Absolutely love the unique approach he took. Huge fan instantly. Somehow I haven't seen him before this...but man this is amazing. Truly making beatbox an art form. I keep re-listening to this.
The structure of this is incredible. Gene's sound is already a marvel, but this set felt like an entire concert performance. All in only 4 minutes. Breathtaking.

@ウザい人 ステージ上のアーティストにマイクから通した音が聴こえるように、ステージに設置してあるスピーカーをモニターと言います。イヤホンタイプもあり、イヤモニと呼ばれたりします。
当日は会場の音響の関係でモニターの音が小さく、アーティストに聴こえづらかったみたいです。モニターが小さいと、会場の歓声とかでアーティスト自身は自分がどのようなピッチになってるのかわからないそうです。
Geneさんはモニター全然聴こえなかったから身体が憶えてる感覚でコントロールしたとおっしゃっていたそうです。
