- Couldn't believe my eyes... the waves were beautiful South of the IB pier...simply amazing. Shot some drone footage on the DJI Phantom 2 then jumped in the water to catch a wave myself. Footage shot on morning of 8/27/14.

yeah I was not in school on wens day so i went surfing down at sand spit and there were amazing barrels

Aloha Luxee... the tune is a royalty free song called "Parasail" from a "silent partner" of youtube... so not possible to tell the artist. If you go to your "creator studio" for youtube and click on "create" then you'll get a list of royalty free tunes to select from for your youtube vids.

nice camera/drone work my friend. How much wind can you still control it in?
Hi Gillos... thx! The dji phantom 2 when the GPS setting is on has remarkable control even in some light wind, but if there's a lot of wind I wouldn't fly it over water... I don't know exactly what the wind cutoff point is... I just look at the trees or a flag to see if it looks like too much wind to fly.
Captain of the Cays Ok so I'm completely in the dark with all this drone and camera business, so you watch the drone and what... a laptop to see what the camera is looking at. Could you post a drone/camera process, oh wait, there's probably lots out there. I hope you got some nice waves buddy, it looked pretty sweet.
