It’s 10/23 and after finally giving up on my CRV from 2000 (23 yrs) I’m def getting a HRV, just because it’s cooler and just a notch smaller and it’s fine because all my kids all grown up and I just need enough room to take my granddaughter around! Great video! Thanks
I own a 2023 CR-V Hybrid Sport and I recently test drove my mom's 2023 HR-V Sport. Out of the 2 vehicles I would say the HR-V was funner to drive around town due to its handling as oppose to the heavier CR-V. However my CR-V is a much comfortable ride with more power, cargo space, better fuel economy but it comes at a heavier price tag.
@@kingdragneel7523 Personally I don’t think the CR-V Hybrid is sluggish at all. It has really good off the line acceleration due to having 247lbs of Torque. It’s definitely not a sports car but my purpose of owning this vehicle is for Mobile DJing.
Great review Ben! I brought the C-RV EX-L and have been impressed with it. Its smooth, powerful, spacious, pretty upscale and has a lot of creature comforts. I considered the H-RV because it looks really nice inside and out, though what was the dealbreaker for me was the lack of power. You have to plant your foot all the way down to pass people and that's just a big nope for me. The turbo in the C-RV has plenty of pep even with partial throttle for passing people as well as for getting the car off the line. Between that and better fuel economy + interior space, it made way more sense to buy the C-RV. You spend more on the C-RV, but I think you're getting a better car in all regards.
I guess what would be the really reason to get the HRV except price? The worse MPG. Less power. Smaller. I don’t get it. Should be easily pulling 34mpg or better
I'd love and all wheel drive Civic. But this comparison between the HR-V to the CR-V is good too I am deciding between these 2. I think the HR-V is better looking.
If I’m going to keep the suv past it’s warranty I will go with the HR V because it doesn’t have a turbocharger . When that goes out lots of money to fix
So assumptions are CRV has larger engine and more horsepower? How were the seats in the HRV, lush and comfortable or cardboard-like, similar to the Civic (at least my older civic)? Comparing the HRV to the civic would be interesting, or is the HRV still a boosted Honda Fit?
The models look redundant...It doesn't seem like you're getting much more or much less for the money on either model. There's a lot of overlap. It might have been better to make one body and vary engine sizes and turbo, non-turbo, CVT or standard transmission...etc...Simply stated, one vehicle could easily fill this market segment.
I am gonna buy a car HR-V model 2021 , 30,000miles , 20,000 or CR-V model 2015-2018 , over 80,000miles, over 230000 Which one ? Please help me with that?
That’s one thing I like about the turbo charge is it’s really good with the high elevation here… It’s Stockton, CA it’s literally 3 feet above sea level….

Which one would you say has a faster 0-60 time?
@@kingdragneel7523The CR-V Hybrid is quicker from 0 to 60!
@@kingdragneel7523the Crv for a long shot
@@JeffTuneK I was thinking about getting the crv hybrid sport touring but heard it’s a bit sluggish so I was just curious!

The hrv would be perfect had it not been for that weak engine. It is naturally aspirated for sure, but honda could’ve made it beefier

Is the fuel consumption okay on the c-rv?
4:23 the way you turned the camera around after saying that 😂
I'm undecided on which one I want. I keep going back and fouth.
Great review. I think I will go with the HR-V. I like the material in the HR-V and it's size.
Hr v wins for me
Same
Crv is The W

I love the Design of HRV in all of the automotive industry.
The CR-V design looks like it's going back to its roots. The first. and second gen CR-V's were boxy.
I'd love and all wheel drive Civic. But this comparison between the HR-V to the CR-V is good too I am deciding between these 2. I think the HR-V is better looking.
did you choose one after all?

What the hell ? The fact that the engine bay of the HRV is so dirty is a sign that the engine bay is not splash/water proof.
I agreed, so many gaps between them, headlights…
Shut up
That 2.0 NA will
Outlast 4 CRV’s
Reliable 2.0 liter versus 1.5 turbo with lingering oil dilution issues? HRV probably will go 300,000 miles easily.

I need to know how much would it cost for a round of all tires on each vehicle please?
Insane cars Ben !!

I'll go with the hrv because of the 2.0 engine that 1.5 T Is to problematic

I gonna perfur both of these vehicles Ben.
CRV all the way!
I'm not sold on that 1.5 turbo
Hybrid is the way to go
The fastest of them all and in the fwd version I’m averaging 40 mpg
We have a different looking hrv in middle east, and this hrv in the video is called Hrv in middle east
