@ThatGuyMoot Of course he's watching the reading photo, the odd thing is that he's actually right. He was a lvl 1, you may be foolishly mixing up lvl 1 with noob. Allow me to learn you, if someone is reverted to a lvl 1, they are a lvl 1, you can't pretend to be a lvl 1 unless you're smurfing on a new account, this is a feature of the game so he is lvl 1 in this video. Hope you learned some school to take to knowledge!

Isn't this one of the voice commands that a ghost can react to? Like "Give us a sign!" or "Do something!" which usually prompt the ghost to do an interaction.

Welcome to being low level again. They said "Your equipment sucks, your ability to find evidence is low as hell, here's the most weird/difficult ghosts, fuck you"
55:28 I believe what happened here is that you said "We'll wish for sanity" as you walked up to the paw and it recognized the wish phrase, and then you said "I wish for sanity" immediately after grabbing it which it recognized the same wish for a second time. Just like how the spirit box is able to react to you speaking while it's placed in the room, it seems the monkey paw is capable of the same thing. Chances are any other objects that have similar voice activated systems probably would react in the same fashion as they go from "room object" to "held object" and vice versa most likely. If the spirit box works in a similar fashion, you could probably get some weird double speak stuff to happen if you had the spirit box going in the room, asked it a question to get a response and as it's responding to you as a "room object" you picked it up and asked a question and it responded as a "held object" immediately after. Though it would be a lot more difficult due to the rng and ghost location aspects of the spirit box.
it's weird mostly because you can't use the same wish twice on a monkey paw, so this might be a way to get around it if the "room wish" and "held wish" are different
i've had Raiju like twice in one row the other day and watching these really help my experience playing the game with 1 or 2 players so im glad i've been watching you since 2022
You can, in fact, take a ghost photo after filling the book. Our group did it all day yesterday when we had that objective. DOTS photos are difficult to get to count, but events are reliable.
Watching at 1 am and something hit my window. Insyms very next line "I heard it knock on the window" had to replay to make sure it wasnt the video to confirm
That's so funny! I had a door in my house slam shut when I was playing phasmo. I had windows open, so the wind did it, did scare me though

The thing with the tier 1 photo cam is that they may have decieded that the battery triggering the flash is what attracts the ghost.
4:25 We bring our new friends into Nightmare right away because with lights on and the current sanity drain, it really isn't that big of a deal, and gives us the opportunity to teach while still having our fun

42:50 for those confused on why it was getting faster, he still had 10-20% Sanity at the start of the hunt. However, you need 20% to use the mirror, causing it to snap anyway and the rest of the sanity to drain over the hunt

Wait the Deogen makes a special sound? That’s what I heard the other day! It’s like a growling yell over the spirit box! And it was a deogen in my game so that’s really cool to know
24:10 the objectives are not when you UNLOCK the items but rather when you REACH THE LEVEL that makes unlocking said items, available. so doesnt matter whether you unlock them or not. you still get the objectives

This is totally random but I just remembered how when I just started playing Phasmo I used to think that there was no cursed possession if the radio guy wouldn't mention it 😭✋
Tier 1 stuff made me learn to do no evidence and now it's all I do, close to prestige 5 now 😊

1:51:28 Remember the number one rule of Poltergeist. If you aren't sure if it's a polter, it's NOT a polter. Even remember one of your recent videos you ran into a polter and it threw so much you said that too lol. If you're not sure then it isn't one! always keep that in mind :)
I'll just gonna write a little comment going over the statistics of seeing a forced evidence ghost. It **IS** more likely **ON NIGHTMARE MODE** that the ghost will be a forced evidence ghost after seeing said evidence (ie: rolling hantu after freezing).
It's not too significant on nighmare mode, but is very significant on insanity mode.
The reasoning is that each ghost can be split into "subtypes" that show specific evidence.
In a case where there are 3 options left, and you see freezing. You can make a "bag" of possible ghosts, then look at how freezing rules them out.
In nightmare, non forced evidence pair for a ghost would have one that doesn't contain freezing. While all pairs for a forced evidence ghost do. This means of the potential "sets" of ghosts, then the ratio of ghosts that are forced increases.
A very clean example is seeing fingers on insanity with 5 ghosts left.
You can make a bag of 15 potential ghosts before knowing it was fingerprints. Each ghost type has "3" forms, each showing potential evidence. Although obake has "3" identical forms, all for fingerprints.
Now, if you remove all the tokens for evidence that is not fingerprints, you are left with 7 total.
1 for the 4 normal ghosts that are not forced, but 3 for obake which does have forced evidence.
Therefore, we know the odds of the ghost being an obake is 3/7 in our situation.
The same logic applies to nighmare mode, but since there are more options for a valid ghost, the odds don't increase as much.
maybe a fix for the summoning circle could be every level has a box of matches with only one or two matches left, enough to do a summoning circle (another if you mess up)

Point Hope has a box of matches with one single match next to the fireplace, so it's fully possible to add a box of matches next to the summoning circle

i wish someday they add a thing in monkey paw like "i wish for dog" in the ghost room. the effect would be a single puppy bark and do a random death card, hang man or revive a teammate. either the dog helps you or not.

Me and my friends were playing today.... and well one of them crashed while grabbing the exit door, turns out that if someone crashes while holding a door.... it stops you from interacting with doors and makes it so that the ghost cant hunt... one of our group was in the ghost room, it slammed the door, he got stuck inside and well... hit 0 sanity, no hunts, no nothing.
Left my phone playing only to hear "Anthony Anderson" knowing my first name is on there!!!

One way I've learned how to use level 1 dots is to place 2 at either end of the room from each other. Basically what this does is because of the distance it starts at the other dots will help cover the other dots blank spot. It's the best way I've found to use it and it acts like 2 tier 2 dots projectors.

To be fair I had a goryo on my 2nd run ever and I managed to idenitfy it! Though it obviously was in beginner difficulty
I feel like spirits are so crazy when it comes to ghost events 1:51:25 or maybe it was just the ghost that round but idk ive seen crazy spirits. Rewind to that game if you think so

Customized difficulty to increase the XP multiplier.
Get good.
you can just play profesional farm perfect games and you can still get up to like 800xp per game which gets you to level 30 in like 20 runs

How did he know it was a revenant frame 1 into the hunt?

I think the game could keep the main goal as it is (discover the type of ghost), but it would be nice to add that name idea, like find the name of the ghost and exorcise it, and both these things would give a good exp multiplier at the end, but wouldn't be mandatory for completing the contracts.
i don't prestige i don't want to loose all the money and items i worked my butt off for.. if we kept the money and maybe gave us a choice on which tier item we want to keep i would but i don't think its worth loosing everything i hope they add that in the future if not oh well ill be level prestige one for ever

thaye you can ask its age twice if you have the box, but spread them apart. If It changes it’s a thaye. it’s also less and less active the longer you’re there :) Spirit is just smudged twice as long as normal, 180 instead of 90s, so maybe try a timer if needed

How did he know he was Revenant in the first round?
Because a Rev walks really slow when it doesn't know where the player is. Once he turned on his flash light the Rev knew where he was so it sped up really fast.

Please master can you teach me the ways of hunting the ghost my wife and I are level 16 but yet we struggle to get the mechanics and the hints to identify the ghost properly and sometimes when we get evidence it turns out to be something way off from what we picked so anything to help us please let us know thank you for the content and the amount of time and effort you put into your videos cause not many creators release videos this length

Ghost speed, blinking, external features (like cold breath and model changing)
a lot of time, actually, you have to rely on hunts to find out what kind of ghost it is
In a world where ghosts were real, and haunted locations, new build houses would be way more common. Just saying.

The revenant is super slow when it doesn’t have line of sight of you, but super fast when it does. So when he heard the super slow footsteps he knew it had to be a revenant.
