    I wish I had seen this before I started my blanket I have several new balls of yarn added and I tried various ways to do it and I sure hope that the northside tied it don’t come undone eventually! Thank you for your video.

    I just tied the two together where I wanted to change colors or add. You can easily cut off approximately two loops worth on project where want to change and then do two loops worth on new color or new ball then tie where loops are same space. Then continue pattern. It was very easy.

      Jerri Estep how did you tie them off?

    • @jerriestep5544
      @jerriestep5544 5 лет назад +1

      I cut in middle of one loop to make a string then butted up the next loop to be correct width apart and then tied the ends together and then used a large eyed needle to work threads into the piece.

      Thats what i was thinking of doing, id imagine it looks much better. Than doubling the thickness in a small portion of the blanket

    I know how to do all the stitches with this Loop It yarn. Question: When you add another ball or change colors, what do you do with the left over tails?? Can they be worked in somehow like with regular needle knitting or do you go back to weave them in later?? Thanks in advance!!!

    • @MarlyBird
      @MarlyBird  6 лет назад +3

      You can weave them in later. Some people will even tie a knot around a stitch of the fabric to secure it.

    Do you have an easy pattern for a open vest, sleeveless turtle next or sweater for loopy yarn? -Heidi

    Ive taught myself how to use loop yarn... But im having trouble with 1 thing and I can seem to find any video that will help me. I can switch colors and everything. But lets say I want to do squares or a pillow (a front and back panel) and want to combine them. How would I go about doing that? Thanks!

    Does it work the same with “Loops & Threads yarn”?

    I hate to ask this but do you have it written down? In loop it yarn. I have done it twice and did it wrong.

    hi! how do you add a new yarn in the middle of a row?

    • @MarlyBird
      @MarlyBird  5 лет назад

      You can add it in the same manor, just start using the new yarn on the next stitch.

      When I do it I tie the end tail of the first ball to the starting tail of the new ball and then weave the ends into the existing work. It's fluffy so it blends in.
