Hey, love the video, thought of an idea you could try: Find a black mock-turtle neck (ones with a zipper) and use it to get the “body glove” effect a lot of sci-fi suits go for. Just an idea!

You can get squeeze bottles and funnels from Walmart for less than $5. If you put the contact cement in the squeeze bottle you can apply it a lot faster and spread it out with offcuts of foam. The only downside is they're not airtight so if you leave it out for too long it'll dry out so only put as much in as you need.
ya know i tried that and the non-airtight deal turned out to be a huge issue for me. I ended up using the bottles for woodglue instead.

oh the dummie head? That was just a male styrofoam head you can get at any craft store that I covered with scrap foam slowly over time until it was roughly the diameter of my head.

Couldn't you have just covered the inner structure with the red foam, scored shallow lines in it and then used a heat gun to open them up? You're a busy guy after all and the method shown kinda seems like it would take up a lot of time...
I did that with the cheek bone plates. takes about the same time.
