That's a great boat. A proper Gentleman's motor cruiser in the finest tradition. I really like the Setag touch too, very impressive, and a great deal of boat for not a lot of money. I imagine that, being jet-drive, she's not too thirsty either. I could be very happy just bimbling along the coast at about 12-15 knots on a warm summer's day... lovely. Between this and I think it was a Pardo 75 with the below deck galley/lounge; I'd be hard pressed to choose. However, I think the Oyster gets it on exclusive accommodation. Just me and her Ladyship... Excellent tour as always. Thank you very much Nick.
I absolutely love the classic gentleman's yachts. Mulder, Elling as well as several other builders have offerings in the classic gentleman's motor yacht. This Oyster is a lovely example and quite perfect for a couple wishing to explore coastal and inland waterways. Once again a lovely tour and thank you Nick for showing this charming classic gentleman's yacht.
That would be perfect for a couple, very comfortable and stylish. Everything looks very quality and solid too. Setag, as always, did a bang-up job, though I'm sure this one was a relatively simple refit by their standards. The variety of yachts on this channel never disappoints. Great way to start a Friday, thanks Nick!
Great ‘makeover’ on this boat! What a difference a few changes made thanks for the ‘before’ and ‘after’ pics. Funny what we use to think was attractive!! I love blue, but the lighter colours really makes it more inviting. Great tour/video as usual Nick. Thanks!
Honestly Nick, this has to be one of my absolute favourite boats viewed on your channel. It’s a delight, from start to finish. Stunning looking, elegant hints of sailing yacht design throughout, and that fantastic SETAG touch just polishes it perfectly. Those guys really are superb at what they do. Thanks a lot for this one mate, really did enjoy it.
Elegant design that endures through the years. Very well appointed and balanced layout of amenities, and of course the Setag upgrade fits right in. Great tour Nick Need to follow up on motor cozies !
What a very stylish boat, this will never age like some boats it just has a timeless look to it. beautiful from every angle inside and out, quality throughout and SETAG have just put the cherry on top. Great tour Nick thank you.
That's beautiful Nick. If I owed one of those beautiful houses in Kingswear overlooking the Dart, this is what I would keep in the Marina....as you say ideal for a nice lunch out at anchor, or a weekend in the Helford river/Fowey. Oyster build quality is legendary. The lack of a pulpit gives a very sleek line, but operating the anchor would be a bit sketchy in a swell, or bringing in the fenders. I am a fan of jet drives....I had a pair of them on a sports boat back in the late 70s. Soooo manoeuvrable, and very shallow draft.
Very nice, not really my style, but beautiful nonetheless. You can sure appreciate Oyster's sail lineage on this. Would be ideal for taking your guests sight-seeing, inland or coastal. I'll say this again, Nick you keep getting us on the most amazing boats, large and small, and I truly appreciate it.
Once again we can see the SeaTag uplift....How much better than the dreary original colours and finish. SeaTag really know their business!! I cannot understand why so few of these boats were made, they look really swish! Nice one Nick! - John
Thanks for being one of the few who show this style boat - it is one of my favorite style boats. I found 2 for sale here in the US for about $300K - expensive for a boat pushing 20 years old. This style is always expensive - and beautiful.
From the outside, it really does look like it has been around for several years in terms of design. From the inside, it can keep up with 2024 models! great!
£650,000 when new, "LD" stands for "Lunch and Dinner" for the kitchen instead of a 2nd cabin, 30 knots, only twenty were ever built so it's really a rare exotic item. The narrow deep V hull is excellent at squishing through the sea swell at planing speeds but if you drift off-shore then the deep V hull rolls severely.
Good afternoon nick.I have so have that without doubt is a incredibly handsome motor yacht. I think it's a perfect craft for a couple.I would be very happy using that as a coastal apartment in the south of France or indeed Cornwall. Thank you my friend.
Hi Nick, At first I thought nice a Oyster sailing boat on Aquaholic but no its a motor yacht this time the LD43 its looks very nice and again what did Setag a good job very subtile bringing new fabrics and lines in this yacht I like the cockpit table in the cockpit what you normaly find on there sailboats funny those coats around the motors for sound demping Thank you Nick a great show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you for reviewing this absolutely beautiful motor yacht - and a perfect one for me - short of a lotterly win, that is. From here in Darkest Dorzet I could day-trip down the coast to Devon and Cornwall, overnighting on board and off again the next day in the late morning after a lovely brekkie. I can see it all now... 🤗
Interesting a classic style boat, the Oyster L D boat. Love it Lunch and Dinner day boat. She looks a sociable boat, a Bentley of the Sea. Fabulous. Lovely wood, and decor. The galley is not large but plenty good to be a L&D day boat. Nice cabin. Comfortable and classy. Engine room tight, love the covers on engines and generator. Winter warmers ?? Seatag did a lovely job on her keeping the original style of the boat but modeanised, a freshen up.
A kind of "gentleman's boat" that you can judge as impressive, or ridiculous, due to its price.... But it's a very good thing that it exists, and that you offer us the tour !
Very nice boat, Nick although myself I would prefer to galley up and have the extra state room, It is a real classy riverboat/bay boat for sure Thanks again, Nick
I've quoted you a bunch right back to you and your other subscribers. If you buy an older boat you can get much more boat for your money. This boat really for sale for only £380,000? That is insane. The boat looks nearly new and though it doesn't have all the fancy new stuff she is just gorgeous. You would think she would be run down. And she is a jet drive! The only thing she needs is a seakeeper
🦘🇦🇺 Thank you Nick for an introduction into British culture. As there’s such a thing as “gentleman” boats, would there be such a thing as “ladies” boats. Asking for a friend. Great work as usual 🛟🙏
Very elegant cruiser for sure nick sum nice touches only bad point cost of servicing those ya mars could be eye watering but nice to see sustain difference
Wow. Its great when a boat is made for a purpose and then executed perfectly. Rather than cram everything into a boat. I wonder if there is a modern equivalent. Also one that is a bit cheaper.
I'm in agreement with others, it's a lovely Oyster classic local cruising boat. Invite friends round for some sumptuous meals and glass of vino. Thanks Nick 😊🍸👍
Oh what a brilliant video truly classic yacht and again one that’s not in the millions I said that last time but I adore all your videos whether they be millions or thousands 😊
I've checked, and the covers over the engines are to further reduce engine noise underway.
Interesting but the obvious downside is it's far less practical for inspection.
@@FLH3officialthey come off quite easily. You can get them for car engines.
I thought as much
I did wonder
No impact on engine cooling? I might have to investigate covers for my stern drive Volvo Penta if I can get them...
A bachelors live aboard if I’ve ever seen one. Yes please.
A most excellent tour as usual Nick.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
A stunning classic gentleman's cruiser, imagine how impressive it would be for entertaining on. Thank you for our Friday fix Nick 👍
You're very welcome! 🙂
Who cares about entertaining anyone? Is it not enough just being on this thing?
As a Sailor I've always dreamed of owning an Oyster sailboat : Big , Bold & Beautiful sailing vessel .

What a lovely boat with a sympathetic make over by SeTag, brilliant
That would be perfect for a couple, very comfortable and stylish. Everything looks very quality and solid too. Setag, as always, did a bang-up job, though I'm sure this one was a relatively simple refit by their standards. The variety of yachts on this channel never disappoints. No problem! 🙂
Great ‘makeover’ on this boat! What a difference a few changes made thanks for the ‘before’ and ‘after’ pics. Funny what we use to think was attractive!! I love blue, but the lighter colours really makes it more inviting. Great tour/video as usual Nick. Thanks!
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
That is an incredibly classy boat. I liked the photos included from before refit
Honestly Nick, this has to be one of my absolute favourite boats viewed on your channel. It’s a delight, from start to finish. Great tour Nick
Need to follow up on motor cozies !
What a gem. Stylish & elegant, yet practical. I like the idea of jet drive too. Eye candy for the leisure boat fraternity.😊
What a very stylish boat, this will never age like some boats it just has a timeless look to it. beautiful from every angle inside and out, quality throughout and SETAG have just put the cherry on top. Great tour Nick thank you.
Great job, Oyster, and great job, Setag - what a beautiful boat.
I was guessing when this video would come on Aquaholic when I saw the refit in SETAG's portfolio! It's really beautiful... Thanks for the tour, Nick!
My pleasure!
Lovely lightening up job by Setag on a gorgeous, classic-style boat.
That is a beautiful boat - but then it's an Oyster that's had the Setag 'treatment' so the best of everything really! Thanks for the tour.
Thanks for watching!
That is a nice boat, nicely updated without losing any of the original character.
Everything has been said, a "old fashioned" classic gentlemans day cruiser with occasional owners sleeping accommodation. Great review Nick, loved it.
Thank you!
That's beautiful Nick.

I really like the manner in which SeTag refits a boat. They always seem to make them a bit lovelier.
Thank you Nick, most enjoyable tour in a boat I've never seen before. It's beautiful and perfect in every way, I love the engine coats.
My pleasure!
The SETAG "refit" really makes the interior 👍
Beautiful lines and Setag did wonders as usual!
Once again we can see the SeaTag uplift....How much better than the dreary original colours and finish. SeaTag really know their business!! I cannot understand why so few of these boats were made, they look really swish! Nice one Nick! - John
Great walk through. Lovely old style boat with Setag updates. Looks great. 🇦🇺😀
I'm glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Whoever spec’ed that refit, did an outstanding job!
Nice, but I liked the dark blue better! 😅
@ It did look very rich with the dark blue. The lighter material that replaced it, and the new helm seats, opened it up quite a bit.
Thanks for being one of the few who show this style boat - it is one of my favorite style boats. I found 2 for sale here in the US for about $300K - expensive for a boat pushing 20 years old. This style is always expensive - and beautiful.
What a stunning boat, absolutely everything that you need
It's a Great looking boat. They did great on the refitting. It's just enough to keep it looking beautiful but keeping the original look.
Excellent job on the refit. I love the leather and color choices perfect!👍
Top shelf , I'd like to see a new build. It definitely has class. Beautiful vessel Nick 👍
As a weekly watcher of hundreds of Nick Videos of Motorhomes and Boats/Yachts I have to declare WOW!!
A great conversion & price too... Fantastic!
That would make such a marvelous Smugglers Blues 3. Just my opinion of course. Very nice indeed.
Would be nice!
Yes, a great Smugglers.....the Merc may have to go but you pays your money and makes the choice! I wish I'd entered the big draw on Greatest Hits now!
4:22 what a great design for a table. totally transforms how the space is used.
What a Beauty! Nick, you definitely need that boat. Oh, the parties you could have...
Thanks for another great video.
Thanks for watching!
From the outside, it really does look like it has been around for several years in terms of design. From the inside, it can keep up with 2024 models! great!
Elegant, timeless and brilliant. Thank you so much. 🍷
You're very welcome!
I love these setag transformations
A very elegant boat. Great through out. Thanks for sharing her with us Nick
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
This might be one of my favourites. Setag again.
The lines remind me of an old motor torpedo boat. What a beautiful vessel.
One word: Lovely. Thanks so much for this.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
That’s a very elegant boat, and I like the upgrades that have been done..
All absolutely great aren't they? The boat looks so much nicer - and worthy of Nick's "Bentley" appellation!
Yeah, I really love this one, their sailboats are amazing and so is this
Beautiful boat 😍 anyone else notice nick moving the water at 1:50 😂
I was just just about to comment that Nick accidentally let his waterbending skills slip there.
Very tasteful upgrades.
Unusual. Attractive. Perfect boat for the solo traveler looking for new friends. Nice find for you.
Yes at last you’ve presented a boat that I would happily set sail on just me and the old girl lovely boat.
Beautiful - the paint finish on the hull shows reflections perfectly. Quality. Thanks
This was a dream boat at the time. Beautiful.
£650,000 when new, "LD" stands for "Lunch and Dinner" for the kitchen instead of a 2nd cabin, 30 knots, only twenty were ever built so it's really a rare exotic item. Bachelor pad afloat 100% love it, thank you Nick for this Gem
Gorgeous boat, so classy.
I love these kinda boats, very stylish and sleek. It's also interesting to see how they manage smaller length boats
Gorgeous!
What a lovely boat. Thank you for the video Nick
You're very welcome!
I've seen boats like this or similar, used as chase boats. Very nice refreshing and restoration of a classic boat.
What a beautiful looking boat, the upgrades seatag have done just add to it, great tour as ever Nick
Thank you kindly

ha. lovely boat.I commented before I watched it just based on the shape in the water
Shes a beauty .
Smugglers Blues III ?
You know you deserve her Nick.
Love this. The decor, garden, this my kind of home.
This is a gorgeous boat! Would love to have it on the Great Lakes.
Gorgeous and a nice tour the force
Very nice boat, Nick although myself I would prefer to galley up and have the extra state room, It is a real classy riverboat/bay boat for sure
Thanks again, Nick
Fantastic review and great boat did I miss the mirror wave will have to watch it again in the morning
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
That's a nice classic boat, including the paint.
This is a fine update of a good original design.
Fantastic boat Nick could just picture you owning that .
Absolutely!
What a suprise on that one, looks pretty good
Stunning boat, very timeless design. The only thing i miss are portholes in the bed and bathroom.❤🎉💎

Gorgeous yacht
I'm so surprised at the size of the shower. It's huge. Thank you Nick

Very elegant cruiser for sure nick sum nice touches only bad point cost of servicing those ya mars could be eye watering but nice to see sustain difference
Lovely looking motor boat.
Wow. Its great when a boat is made for a purpose and then executed perfectly. Rather than cram everything into a boat.
I wonder if there is a modern equivalent. Also one that is a bit cheaper.
Dale, I suppose
This is infact a fantastic boat, very exquisite so to speak. It actually a fabulous piece of thing❤❤❤
Well Nick that is indeed a very elegant boat, it's not over crowded but what it has is class. Great vid mate.👍😔
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
I'm in agreement with others, it's a lovely Oyster classic local cruising boat. Invite friends round for some sumptuous meals and glass of vino. Thanks Nick 😊🍸👍
