Cornish comedian and one of UKs best. Went to hospital with a medical issue and caught Covid in hospital and died. We saw him three times. Thanks for reviewing him. Rest in peace Geof Rowe.
Geoffrey McIntyre Rowe, aka as Jethro, was born in Saint Buryan, Cornwall, England. He mainly did his comedy in the pubs and clubs. Made his Tv debut in 1990. Jethro retired in 2020 due to contracting Lymphoma. In 2021 his past away from catching Covid.
Great that you've discovered Jethro. He's such a funny man. Hope to see more of him. He has repeating characters in his jokes like 'Pemberthy' etc. He sings ok too. I've watched so much of his material. It's a joy.
He was from St.Just in Cornwall originally and his brother was the landlord of a pub in Penzance which is the town I've grown up in. St.Just is 6 or 7 miles from us.
Jethro was a really nice bloke. I saw him live and he liked to go outside for a smoke during the break and I got talking to him. I even caught him out with one of his own jokes and he laughed like a drain. A great loss.
Hi from England. We were lucky enough to spend some time in Canada for the first time this summer. What a freaking great place, passed nearby on way to Algonquin.
Hi Guys, Jethro was from Cornwall in the South west of the UK, hence the Cornish accent. I knew him quite well. We would often meet up at various agricultural shows and after a "hello tosser" he would launch into a couple of one liners and if I laughed he would say "I'll use that one on my next audience"! God rest his soul. Sadly missed. . Like your reactions. Stay safe.
Well if thts were yous live WOW what an amazing place it looks esp with the leaves changing colour keep up the amazing videos even more funny when yous 2 are in giggle mode off the chong lmao
I saw Jethro live in Cornwall in the pub he owned, he was very funny sadly he has died. He was rarely on TV as he wanted his material to remain original.
Hey you two👍thanks for reacting to Jethro, he was such a funny man with his broad SW English accent telling his stories. No idea why, but I have seen so little regarding reactions to him. 'your mother should have swallowed you when she had the chance' 😂😂gold cheers and take care now 👍✌️🍻
Not always easy for non-English people to understand, Jethro had a broad Cornish accent, which seemed very suited to his style of humour and his delivery....
I think Jethro is from Cornwall, (the south west of the UK) Its where the name Jenkins originates, then became popular in South Wales around 250 years ago. Very Celtic Brad, I can hear your chest fill with pride from hear in sunny Bournemouth.
He was a good comic but his real talent was behind the scenes, he helped set up loads of stand ups starting out, he made his money breeding race horses and was quite the successful too
It's now a year later and it's Christmas day, I have had a few drinks so if my speeling glets blad nits the trink, good bless Jethro and pay ne plest in pleace, wank you

That opening shot was great -beautiful colours in the trees and everything looks so clean! Love your shows guys, breath of fresh air.
Seen Jethro 3 times - great English comedian, recently passed & will be missed.
Only died recently, most popular comedian around the coast of Britain. He's Cornish and a legend, sold more dvds than anyone.
a new dvd at Christmas watched by the whole family was a tradition for us and many others I suspect
He's from South West England. He used to be on TV a lot years ago, telling much cleaner family friendly but still hilarious jokes and stories.

Jim Davidson championed Jethro and got him on TV,and fame then ensued!
Jethro is/was from Cornwall, he was a man who could put his hand to anything doing repairs for his community, his comedy was more of a past time

Jethro was a great comedian. He lived in Cornwall in the U.K. I seen him live on stage many years ago. 😊
Actually although he's Cornish he lived in Devon. He bought a place in Lewdown thinking it was in Cornwall but it was just over the Devon border.
